overall pretty fun time, but it was $15 for a whole pizza, which didnt come out for an hour, and we had to wait about 15 minutes even after we asked about it. There was also a creepy dude following us around the whole place asking us our names, numbers, etc. One of my friends had a panic attack and my other friend had to tell the creeper that my friend and her were dating, which then after that he promptly left. I dont think this was the rinks fault but we were kind of eying the workers for help. I probably wont be coming again unless one of my friends invites me. read more

Okay skating , but the floor is patched up and they are over priced paid 37.00 for three kids and one adult skate. Guy handing out skates gave us men's skates in the wrong size as well. The worst customer service ever. Cannot wait till galaxy Skat is open. read more

i came here this past weekend with my friends family for a big church meeting, and it was incredibly fun! the staff was super friendly and the rental skates were uncomfortable, but nothing too unbearable. one of my skates did sputter a little but i had no trouble replacing it at all! after a while the floor got very crowded and little kids were tripping a lot but i do suppose thats what you get when you invite 700+ people to skate after church lol! read more

The location was closed on a Saturday. There was NO notice given on their website. We drove all the way there only to be told the Midwest City location is closed until a future tentative date. This is unacceptable action for a business. We had to drive 30 minutes away to Galaxy Skate. Pissed. read more

My nephews (8 & 10) love this place. They beg me to drop them off here, which I learned you can actually do. Good for the kids, because I would rather gouge my eyes and ears out than sit in a room with a hundred kids with music blaring for hours. I was leery about just dropping them off and leaving them at first but they have a police officer on site all night and they don't let the kids outside (the younger ones anyway), you have to go in and pick them up. The officer is nice and so are all the staff who I thought were too young (they all look like teenagers but I didn't go around taking a census) to be dealing with all of those kids at first but their younger age probably helps them to tolerate all the noise and chaos better, they're probably not as grouchy as us older people would be. Lol The kids always have a good time and beg to go back. So far, we haven't had any real issues. My nephew bought a fidget spinner there and it got swiped. He said he left it in his shoes in his cubby. But that type of thing is bound to happen when you have a bunch of kids running loose. It's a little pricey to go as often as they'd like, especially if you have multiple kids, and Friday nights aren't included in any of their deals which is apparently the "must go" night if you are a tween. read more

This place is a little dated but it is great. All of the workers where wonderful and as for September of 2021 they have a brand new wood floor which was amazing. The skates where nice and comfortable and THE MUSIC WAS GREAT. Their was no light allowed to pass through which was great as well. If you are not an experienced skater do not go at night, because dance skaters will be there. Everything was great but just and old building. Would definitely go again . read more

When did it become so difficult to go out and have family fun? Wife and I took the kids to Star Skate Midwest City and it was a horrible experience. My kids love the skating rink and they could not even enjoy it. I remember going to the skating rink when I was a kid and have many fond memories! There were kids skating around looking at their cell phones and running into other people. Lord help us all when they start driving. One teenager plowed into my oldest daughter knocking her to the floor where she hit her head and gave her a knot on it, all because his phone was more important. I go to talk to the manager about it, get a bag of ice and to see if there is a policy they enforce. There is not but she said that the floor guards should be making sure they don't do it. I can tell you right now that they were not and I told her that. She literally shrugged her shoulders as if she did not care. Come on now, the floor guards are teenagers making minimum wage and she was the adult in charge and did nothing. The majority of the kids there did not have any parental supervision and young teenage girls were dressing like hookers. Even my oldest daughter noticed, looked at me and said "you'd never let me wear something like that." Proud daddy moment there and she is absolutely right cause my daughters will have more respect for themselves than that if I have anything to do with it. While I was on the rink a kid was acting a fool and trying to sit near my 35 week pregnant wife decided to flail her limbs kicking my wife. The kid looked at her and said "oh shit, I'm sorry." Really?!?? They have an event where you can only enter the floor if you have something that glows; cell phones don't count. That's fine and I know it's about getting sales on there glow stuff, whatever. But after a while many people starting getting back onto the floor without something that glows with no problems. I'm holding my 6 year olds hand and immediately get targeted by the so called floor guard and asked to exit the floor. Our glowing #Fitbits did not count. The kid was not kicking anyone else off the floor and was obviously friends with many who did not have glowing objects cause he was socializing with them. At that point we decided to leave and decided we will never patron Star Skate MWC or any of there other locations again. This place is going to end up with a law suit and I would NOT recommend bringing your family to this place. I don't blame the kids but I do blame their parents and the horrible management at this place. Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma, Inc. and Midwest City, Oklahoma this place is an issue. read more

I love this place so much I love skating here and everything, They are really nice and friendly but their food is really not that good but then again everybody knows you don't eat at a skating ring, But I had the Chicken Wings and it tasted like trash, There was no seasoning. I honestly do love this place a whole bunch but the food is not the best. read more

NOT CHILD FRIENDLY!!! I will not be coming back, to start with I waited in the lobby for a while and when I peeked through the door to get someone's attention a lady came out running and yelling as if I was gonna walk in and not pay to skate. Anyway I paid for two kids under 7 who are beginning to skate and need a stroller. I asked for one at the counter and was told no because they "reached max capacity" which makes no sense as they were the only ones to be using strollers. I asked for a refund since my kids would not be able to skate. I wasted my money and time. A week prior I went and was given a stroller no problem. The lady gave us a free pass but that would be pointless since my kids CANNOT skate safely. Do not waste your money. Left with no refund and ruined my kids night. read more

Took the grandkids to the "cheap skate" skate session on Thursday from 6-9 pm. We were there for about an hour and a half. After being there for a good 20 mins or so, it was fairly obvious the music that was being played was not conducive to a skating environment. It was all hip hop and rap based stuff that was more to the liking of the young man playing it than it was for the patrons of the rink. There were many young kids there from a local school and there wasn't any kind of order in the direction any of the kids were skating. A few of them were skating in the total opposite direction than the flow of everyone else on the floor. Doesn't look like this will be the rink for us in the future. read more

This rink has been greatly updated and cleaned up in the past few years. You don't think gross when you walk in. You think wow this is big! Had so much fun there. Will take my kids back. read more

We always have fun here! Great little place. I've been here random Saturday nights, New Years Eve when it was too bitter to be downtown bringing in 2018, and even an afternoon over Spring Break. Even at its most packed (Spring Break afternoon) we still laughed and enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended! read more
