Yukon on Wheels is nice. They had a kiddie area that kids can learn to skate, as well as a big rink. Pricing is extremely reasonable and probably the best priced around OKC. They have a concession stand, a little seating, and their bathrooms are okay. They should probably update them too. The only thing that bothered me when I was there, was many older kids would not be reprimanded or asked to leave if they were skating extremely fast. My niece got ran into very badly, hit in the face and immediately started to cry. I was not happy and let the employees know, and they THEN addressed it. Other than having to watch your kiddos closely and making sure employees do the same for kids who break the rules, I would recommend. read more

I went there for 5 years. Got in Truble for Lil things there Skateing to fast doing tricks outside the middle part Then when I turned 20 they were still doing same stuff staff is not very nice or. Anything they treat u like your 5 years old and now the price is 14 for 3 hours is ridiculous why would I do that when I can to better rink that offers 10 bucks for 4 hours like come on they sit u out for Skateing fast what not Doing anything that just makes them mad they do it. I had such a blast going here for my birthday! Never tried roller skating before but if you want to try it you can here, skates are part of entry admissions so you can just grab a pair after coming in. Wasn't super crowded so it left plenty of space to practice to my comfort and always someone nearby if you needed help. They also arranged small games and raffles throughout the day and some of them seem really fun! I wish I was more experienced with the wheels to join. This roller rink is just a Friday night drop-off daycare for middle schoolers. My church's community group came here in early June, and we did a fun 90s theme dress-up roller skate together, the 14 of us (all married adults). It was $11 per person to skate and to rent skates. We came on a Friday, and the place was crawling with kids and 0 adults, minus the staff (which were mostly young adults). The rink skates well and the shoes we rented fit snugly and it was fun to roll around. The staff boys who helped pass out skates were friendly. The con to this place is that they are constantly yelling out rules over the intercom. It is difficult to enjoy the music when the kids are doing something wrong, like taking food outside of the designated food area, or standing on chairs, or skating the wrong direction, or standing on the skating area... it got annoying. I acknowledge that this annoyance was simply because I was an adult trying to enjoy a place mostly for kids, but they didn't have to announce everything over the mic. Kids respond better with one on one conversation, not by being called out and receiving attention for their behavior that they don't even know is against the rules. Sorry... rant over. I really want to like this place. The music was fun & the lights made it nostalgic. Games were played every 30 minutes. I am sure it is a pleasure to enjoy when you rent out the whole building. But I did not enjoy my casual skate on a Friday night because the staff was very strict and because the kids are crazy and uncontrolled. I don't think I'll be back. read more

Skating birthday party. I liked that it was rented to just the birthday group and not to everyone else . The place was coean,service was nice. They had games on the rink for us to play. Nothing out of this world, but a good place to celebrate kids party. read more

Went for my daughters 10 birthday but since we didn't book the "Birthday" we were not allowed to bring in cupcakes so that was disappointing. We purchased 20 drinks for our kids and snacks which was absolutely over priced because No Refills then to add it is posted parents is $4 but the man charged full $8 for my husband. Mind you we brought in 28 ppl only three of us adults did not skate. Other parents bought their own drinks the staff was under staffed concessions were order wait excuse me while I go to the bathroom and out of lots of items. Top it off a elderly man fell broke his finger "clearly visible laying horizontal next to the others" staff put soap in the ice bag. Stating kids like to throw the ice at each other well hello kids don't care if they throw soap either. read more

Do not recommend. Worst skating experience our family has had. The rules are extreme, such as no water (even covered) in the sitting area or candy from their own candy machine. You also can't stand near the wall for too long or you'll be told to keep moving. We have some older skaters 13-19 and they were told not to skate at a moderate speed... you should be able to stake a little fast in a skating rink right? They even have a kiddie corner for younger skaters to feel more confident! The skates are so bad, they pull in different ways at different speeds and are so uncomfortable. Half of our party didn't skate longer than 15-20 mins because it's simply not worth it for the pain. Our 6 year old was the last standing in the limbo but she didn't go under the very last one because she was the last one standing and no one told her. They then told her after they put everything away that she couldn't have the prize because she didn't "finish." unprofessional and unnecessary. Don't waste your time and your money here. read more

Awful experience, Terrible service, all the workers were very disrespectful, and were very strict with their ridiculous rules. The skates were very uncomfortable and most of the skaters in my group stopped skating after 10mins because it wasn't worth the pain, and many of us got blisters after 20mins of skating They wouldn't let anything (packaged or with a lid) leave the concessions area, not even full grown adults could have a covered water cup in the sitting area without a rude worker telling them they had to move The skating games were absolutely no fun whatsoever, they were super strict. They wouldn't let most skaters go at a moderately fast speed. They wouldn't let kids hold onto the wall and or stand by the wall without telling them they had to keep moving. Pros: staff seemed nice despite other reviews I have read. Rink appears well maintained and clean. Cons: And this is a major one; concrete floor was not properly leveled. Floor is in "good condition" but feels very wavey as you skate. Don't care if it s wood or concrete but the floor HAS TO BE FLAT. Left mid-session (waste of money). Will not be back. read more

Not great service, the workers are very rude, they are overly strict about having even closed drinks anywhere but the food section, even the sitting areas! Their skates are some of the most uncomfortable skates I've worn, and they won't even let you skate at a slightly fast pace. The workers are not even slightly courteous or kind! My family had a great time at Yukon on Wheels. The staff was very friendly. The facility was spacious and clean. There is a small rink off to the side for little kids that don't know how to skate. My 6 year old, who has only skated once before at a rink with those horrible walkers, spent about 20 minutes in the kid area before moving to the main floor to join the limbo game. Yukon gets a huge thumbs up for NOT offering the walkers. There are 2 reasons I didn't give 5 stars. First, there are a couple rough spots on the floor. They are easy enough to avoid. The biggest reason for the lost star is their rental skates. They have the worst skates I've ever worn. The wheels didn't turn well or even at the same speed. Also, size 12 is the largest inline they carry and my hubby wears a 13. All in all, we will be back. The pros out weighed the cons. We'll just have to buy some skates first. read more

Looking for a skating rink nearby for your kid's birthday or event, look elsewhere. We wanted to hold a birthday party for a young family member to which we could never get ahold of anyone by phone during the work week. After several call attempts to try and reserve a spot, we decided to buy tickets the day of the party and brought a cake and we were stopped at the door by, "Doug," who rudely halted our group from entering saying we were not allowed to bring food into the building without being on the "party list." I tried explaining to him we had tried multiple times to contact someone about reserving a party and no one contacted us. He was extremely rude and highly unprofessional and was completely unwilling to allow us in with a small cake even after we offered to pay extra for the group rate for a party. We instead went to another skating rink where they were more than happy to help us. We will never be coming here again. read more
