I was totally stoked to learn that Chuck E. Cheese has wine and beer (okay their selection could be better, but still, it doesn't matter with this many kids, you need a drink). The lemonade is too sweet. The birthday show was cute. But they combined birthday parties which is a rip-off. There is this thing where the Birthday child stands inside with a parent to catch tickets that are flying by and they get to keep them and change them for stuff. The white cake is actually good.

I guess my review didn't get posted when I was up in Manitou Springs visiting this summer break…read more For it being a yearly park it's not a very bad place to visit especially if you're into Christmas and the Holidays. The tickets were not very expensive at all and the park itself had so much to do for as small of an area it was located. What does get you of course is the typical merchandise shops and the food. But that's typical. Some of the rides were very well kept and lines weren't that long. A nice place to definitely bring your younger kids to enjoy and nothing too dangerous. A lot of rides had to be switched and waited on bc of their lack of employees. But overall I would take my kids back for a cheap eventful park adventure. PROS: - Tickets weren't to pricey, they had group and party event discounts as well as a yearly membership. - Food were everywhere and plentiful - Eventful and easy to manage and utilize younger kid friendly rides. - Well kept and very clean - Employees were very respectful and helpful - MAGIC SHOW WAS AWESOME!! Wizard actor was amazing!! CONS: - DISLIKE the you have to be THIS tall to ride even if you had a chaperone or older sibling to ride along; made my little 2 year old stay outta the fun frm a lot of rides she could've handle solo. - Lack employees to operate all rides to be open - For the scenic rides, didn't have a lot of attraction for those rides. RECOMMENDATIONS: - Get rid of your height requirement or at least allow child to ride as long there's a competent older sibling with or chaperone. - Help you avoid a lawsuit, ensure you have an update rules and full participation policy of liability so parents/ guardians understand that the park and its employees aren't liable for injury to children or participants if injury happens. - For you scenic rides: Sky Trail, Train Ride, zip liner, Farris Wheel; add attractions, Xmas lights that actually gives the audience something to view versus just the trees, snow, and mountains. - Make your shops a little less expensive.

The older kids jungle gym is a nice variety of tunnels and playful playground, but with as large as the area is there could've been a little more creativity and expansion to make it not too repetitive, but it entertains the children as long as they can comfortable imagine a way to excite themselves. The 3 years and younger play pen is depressing when you compare it to the older kids play area. Again, with the space allowed they could've been more creative. Recommendation, an actual playground versus small boring play "thingys" to slightly entertain the little ones especially if they glance over and hear all the shouting and happy screams of the older kids just across from them which they themselves just want outta the prison pen this establishment calls "fun entertainment". The establishment does allow multiple party venues and private parties, but I wouldn't spend more than a hour. I've asked abt food, there's no food so you gotta bring your own, but again it's smart so the staff doesn't have to deal with cleaning after messy kids...unless they vomit. Recommendations: - Add more play ground accessories if you're going to stick with a prison pen for the little ones or at least a slide playground set. - Food - Attractions, like little touch screen or removable items for the littler ones to play with. - overall just ADD MORE with the space you have!!

Went to Hey Day…read moreon a date and to watch The Cowboys/Eagles game, get there and there's a few people at the bar but the rest of the place is available and all tv's are accessible. There's a game on,but it's not Dallas,so we ask one of the guys working if he could turn it to the Cowboys game and he says yes.10 min later the channel still hasn't changed,so 5 more minutes passes and I pull out my phone and start watching that way. Here I am sitting at a bar in front of a large tv at a bar watching football on my phone. My date says this is ridiculous and gets up and ask if they forgot and 3 guys say that they don't know how to change the channel and they're waiting on the manager. At this point I'm considering leaving and finally the manager comes over and changes it to the game! By this time it's nearly the 2nd quarter and oh the screen is green!! Smaller TVs are all fine but the one we want is green. So I'm considering leaving again and here comes the redeemer Nathan! He didn't completely fix the tv but he tried! Not only did he try,he took control of the night, gave us extra attention and immaculate service. Not sure if he saw/witnessed everything and went above and beyond or is always that way but either way he saved the night by just being an awesome server and cool guy. We stayed and had a great night. Thank you Nathan!

Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy - My daughters were involved with BCGA's girls AAU Xcel team for 5 years... Don't expect them to care if you have concerns.

My daughters have been involved with BCGA's girls AAU Xcel team for 5 years and after the second…read moreyear it became a revolving door of coaches, so the girls on the team haven't had any stability in the realm of coaching for the last 3 seasons. Well, this year the coaches they brought in hit an all-time low, to the point they sucked all of the love of the sport out of my daughter that has loved doing gymnastics with her teammates for years now. I emailed the main coach (the guy in charge of the 3 coaches for the AAU Xcel team) 5 times between January and April 14th with little to no responses from him. Our daughter and the rest of the team were told that they needed to come up with their own beam routines, while the coaches didn't even make sure all the skills that they needed for the event were in their routines. Many of the girls completely bombed the beam event at their first meet (which was at BCGA), then the coaches got angry at the team for not doing well at the event. The two female coaches they had this year consistently looked for any excuse they could find to cancel practice, when practice wasn't cancelled, they didn't work on developing or fine-tuning the girls' skills instead they worked on breaking down the girls' spirits by calling them pathetic and getting in their faces at the drop of a hat. The one male coach the team had was the best at developing the girls' skills, but he thought it was appropriate talk to them about their periods and had other inappropriate behaviors. He was removed from the gym after an incident with another team, so that it the caliber of people that this organization feels is okay to hire to train your kids. If you want your girls to enjoy gymnastics, then find another gym. My daughters have both quit gymnastics now and it is in no small part due to the way this gym is being run. Again, I emailed the main coach (the guy in charge of the 3 coaches for the AAU Xcel team) 5 times between January and April 14th with little to no responses from him. So, after getting tired of my daughter being upset to the point of tears after 90% of her practices, I addressed the coaches myself. I will admit that I could've been more tactful when I approached the coaches, but here is what I said to the team's "head coach." I said, "Since you want to talk about the team being pathetic in front of the girls, you should know that the performance of the team is a reflection of their coaches," I then said, "You're a shit coach." After that the other coach scoffed and I left the gym. They then kicked my daughter off the team because of me addressing the coaches, and they said she was lying about everything despite several of the other girls talking with her on the phone about the things the coaches have been saying to them and how it's making them feel. I do wish I would've approached this situation differently, but due to an overwhelming amount of frustration at both the coaches and senior staff of BCGA, I addressed the problem that they were not handling. This organization does not care about the well-being of your girls or even that they are developing their gymnastics skills, all of that went out the door a long time ago. Your AAU girls are just numbers and paychecks for this place. This is not to say anything against Bart Conner himself, because he is not involved with most of the day-to-day work going on at the gym. The few interactions I have had with him have been pleasant and he seems like a very down-to-earth kind of guy. However, the people running the gym are dragging his name through the mud.
