Hosted my mom's big 80th bash recently. Last minute (literally 2 days before the party) my sister calls and tells me she thinks we should try to get an Elvis impersonator to come and at least do a singing telegram. I thought it was a fantastic idea but with only two days to accomplish that, I didn't think it would happen. I went to my trusty Yelp app and started pulling up everything I could think of including an awesome company I used for my daughter's bday the year prior --nobody had Elvis! That company recommended I search specifically for "Elvis impersonators". Still nothing. I started searching more broadly for just "party entertainment" and finally came across, "Bear Sanchez". He messaged that he was available! I was a teensy bit nervous because on his site, there were no pictures of "Elvis" so when I called him, we had a "minute interview". I felt pretty confident after talking to him for just a couple of minutes that we had found our Elvis! OK-- This guy is talented! He knows how to work the room, ad-lib, and was VERY on top of details that I had given him about my mom-- incorporating it into his presentation. Everybody at the party enjoyed every minute. My mom, who has NEVER experienced anything like this before in her life was so embarrassed at first, but at the end of the day she was really impressed and had fun. Bonus, I got to cut a little rug with him too! I think what makes him so special is that he seems to really be enjoying what he is doing and that translates to a better performance! I would not hesitate to recommend Bear Sanchez and his company for any party entertainment needs. All correspondence from start to finish was friendly, professional and accommodating. And even though I know he had a bit of a drive, he was early, prepared and totally delivered. Thank you, Bear, for being the cherry on top of this beautiful celebration! I'm so glad we found you! read more

My daughter has been obsessed with Disney's Zombies movies since they first came out a few years ago. So, when it was time to plan her birthday party she had a very specific plan on who she wanted to make an appearance at her party. She wanted the main character, Addison, to come in her alien outfit. I started my research a few months ago and I stumbled upon Mr. Bear's Yelp page. I emailed him with my request and he sent me a message back right away! He said that he was familiar with the movies and can meet my daughter's needs. He confirmed everything with me a few days later and we had a game plan. I met Mr. Bear the morning of our party and he started to set things up. He had the music for the movies, the exact outfit my daughter requested and had so many fun activities planned for our guests. I was completely blown away! The kids had such a blast! Addison even came over to our tables and chatted with the girls while they ate their lunch. She made sure my daughter was the focus of all of the activities and she was smiling ear to ear the entire time! She sang happy birthday and even helped pass out the cake! My daughter is a social butterfly, but when it comes to her own requests, she tries to please everyone else and hardly ever states what she wants. She always puts others first. However, on her special day, she got everything that she wanted and felt so much love and affection from Mr. Bear and Addison. When we got home after the party, she gave my husband and I a hug and cried because of how much fun she had and that it was her perfect day. We were so touched. I can't say enough nice things about this company. Thank you for all of your hard work, your enthusiasm and love that you gave to my daughter and her friends. We will definitely book you again in the future! I highly recommend them for all of your party entertainment! read more

We have a friend who was celebrating a milestone and who absolutely is the biggest Elvis fan around. We found Star Quality Parties on Yelp and contracted them to come to our event on a Saturday evening. I am so pleased with His Business. He video called my son dressed as his favorite superhero and gave him all of but the best Quality Time and Laughs. My son has been a little down since this 2020 Codvid19 quarantine. Celebrating his birthday only at home and with out extended family. Also that fact that he recently lost his close grandmother. He made my son smile and Giggle through out the time we hired him. Thank you again for your service. We will definitely hire you again. read more

Bear is a fun and energetic magician. He does a great job engaging the kids, and even the adults. We're glad we booked him!

Mr. bear is fantastic! We first saw him in person at a birthday party with a Frozen theme, and he was awesome! He had 15 or 20 kids glued to him for 2 or 3 hours. It was amazing. Parents didn't need to do a thing. I'm now writing this review for his online birthday entertainment during COVID-19 stay-at-home. He entertained my toddler for a solid 45 minutes with a magic show, story, and characters. It was a great way to add some fun to the day and much better than just watching a movie because he makes it so interactive and tailors the experience for the child. Consider using his online service to celebrate a birthday, or simply to just help your days at home go by with more fun!! read more

First time using a "kid dj." We wanted someone to keep the kids entertained as well as the adults and keep the party going. Mr. Bear did all of this! He even got some of the shy ones out on the dance floor. Heo played games with the kids and taught them the Cha Cha Slide. The kids had fun and so did the adults. It was so nice to be able to host and know that the party was taken care of. Everybody asked for his card afterwards. I would highly recommend Star Quality Parties for your party. read more

Mr. Bear Sanchez did an awesome job entertaining the kid. The first 2 hours of my party without him were boring. Lol it was 2:30pm and I remembered I hire him to entertain the kids and adults and I was counting the minutes for him to arrive at 3pm. Once he got there he took over and got everyone so excited. Kids were so happy to get their face painting and balloons. But let me tell you his magic show was both amazing and hilarious. I had hired someone else for just face painting and I'm sooo glad she canceled on me because I got so lucky to have Mr. Bear to be part of my baby's first bday party. Thank you so much for everything! The kids couldn't stop talking about you and how amazing our party was. I would recommend star Quality Parties to anyone and my family! Mr Bear is amazing, his singing telegram was creative, personal and had an impact on mending ties and hurt feelings between people we do business with at another company. All I had to do was take a few minutes and text a rough outline and some information about what the singing telegram should be about. Mr. Bear did the rest...he wrote the words and put them to the song "You Got A Friend in Me". It did the job, people were laughing, crying and entertained. We would use Star Quality Parties again and highly recommend you use them too! read more

Mr. Bear was a great addition to our party! He was patient with the kids and kept them entertained. Lots of great activities and fun!!

I cannot thank Bear enough for making my friend's birthday so special. I couldn't make her birthday party down in Southern California, so last minute I decided to get her a singing telegram to send her my love. I found Star Quality Parties on Yelp and contacted Bear. He responded immediately, and within hours put together an amazing personalized singing telegram to one of Prince's songs (her favorite artist). He also brought her a beautiful bouquet of flowers, balloons and a purple boa for Prince . He said if he had more time he could've made a Prince costume!! She loved every second of it. So grateful for Bear!! Would definitely use him again in a heartbeat!! read more

It is very unfortunate that I had to write this review, because I had high hopes regarding this company as all yelp reviews are 5 stars. I hired Mr. Bear to be the magician for my son's 1st birthday party just last Sunday. I was under the impression that he will be the one performing at the party because that was what we talked about during the hiring process, however on the day off I have received a text stating that it was another lady who will be doing the magic show. I had no problem with that but I would appreciate a heads up that there will be a change of plan before my actual event date. Fast forward, my magician was 35 minutes late, my contract clearly says 2:30pm but she kept insisting that it was at 3. Then she could not perform her magic show because she forgot the key to her magic box! I finally just had to ask her to leave as we had some other things planned out for the day as well. We had to push back on our program just so we can have her perform and to my disappointment cannot even perform anything because she forgot her keys. I had tried contacting Mr. Bear but he would not return my phone call. Instead, he sent me a text apologizing for what happened. It was very unprofessional. I have asked him to call me so we can atleast talk about what happened and maybe resolve the issue but until now no one had ever called. I just hope that this would not happen again to anyone who would hire this company. read more

Star Qualities are phenomenal to work with! They are professional, energetic, positive and work very well with children and parents! We hired the team for my son's 5th birthday last year and brought the team again for my son's 6th birthday this year! Both years, parents called me after asking for the team's contact Information! I needed to send a singing telegram for my work to apologize to a company we work with, not your typical singing telegram. I talked to Mr Bear of Star Quality Parties, and he wrote an amazing song and delivered the telegram that was amazing, fun and helped heal hurt feelings between us and the other company. Plus my boss was very impressed with the singing telegram and the results. I HIGHLY recommend Star Quality Parties they are professional on time and deliver great quality service!
