Magic Joe performed at our daughter's 7th birthday party this weekend, and he was amazing. This party was no small feat; she was celebrating with two of her buddies in our local park: Three birthday girls, ages 7, 8, and 9 - and a *ton* of kids in attendance. So an unstructured space, with a gaggle of girls and boys, of a pretty wide age range... and he kept them all entertained - and made the parents chuckle as well. In addition to his magic act, he did face painting (which the kids loved) - he even kept the kids entertained while they were waiting in line for face painting. And he was just a pleasure to work with. He showed up early, helped the parents out, even with things that weren't part of the act (holding the finish line for the kids' potato sack race, and corralling them for cake), and stayed until every last kid's face painting was done, 20 minutes past his scheduled end time. His rates were very reasonable, and working with Magic Joe was money well spent. We recommend him highly! read more

He had all the kids and adults laughing and was able to entertain my huge party of 70+ people. He was on time and did a fun magic show, balloon animals , and then face painting within the span of 2 hours. His rates are very reasonable and he doesn't need to bring any tables or huge props for his magic tricks. If you are at a park though like I was I did notice the balloon animals kept popping so next time I would just leave that out and just do magic and face painting. As soon as the balloons hit the grass or tree or table they would pop and Joey would have to make a new one when there was already a line of kids who had not received one.
