I passed my test today. Yay~ Due to my tight work schedule for the next 4 months, I had a hard time deciding how to expedite my driving lessons and work schedules. I had to ask specific questions on how their schedule could fit with my needs. -They can receive texts. -Accepts Cash -I can only take classes on weekends. -And due to some of my conditions I need some form of break in between. -I also was not sure if they would take me in their vehicle to the DMV but they actually had an offer for this choice too. I took the 10 hour class to see and compare from my former driving instructor back in 2016 and this was an incredible, fantastic and a respectable experience. I cannot thank you enough for your due diligence andclarity. Mr. and Mrs, was able to set up a weekend appointment for me 2 hours each Saturday so that this does not intervene with my company's tight schedule this year. There were new lessons I learned that was different, and questions that were re-clarified that can only be done on hands driving for visual learners like me. I practiced a lot of driving, but passing the DMV test requires you to know a lot of rules and tips that people tend to ignore. I failed my first test for not looking over the shoulder! I took just a couple of class with Jatinderji and she polished my driving skills. She analysed my driving and then picked out the problem areas and we worked on it. She made me do 20 right turns around bicycle Lane area to get me used to looking over the shoulder. Cleared my test today. She has incredible experience and a few classes will really help you clear the road test with confidence. She was very polite. Nice clean car. Quick communication over text. read more

This is my first review on yelp and its exclusively for Jatinder (ji) as I call her. I took classes from her for a couple of months and passed the test without making critical errors on my first attempt from Santa Clara DMV. She is not only an amazing instructor but also a wonderful person and we become friends over time. Just a reminder, I chose her as my instructor without any references or recommendation. I being a sceptical person by nature, had complete confidence and faith in her efficiency and skills till the end. From the first day I don't know why I had an immense trust on her capabilities to teach me how to drive correctly and safely. Jatinder ji taught me driving from the scratch, starting from controlling the steering properly to backing up without hitting the curb. I always looked forward to her driving lessons every week and with each class I grew more confident , informative and less nervous. She told me all the tricks and tips to driving and passing the test at Santa Clara Dmv. She will go over all the safety rules, tell you where your mistakes are and encourage you to keep trying untill you are an expert driver. I always had a feeling I will never be able to take the test but she was the one who supported me and advised me to take it. She is very punctual and patient as an instructor. She would always work on my shortcomings like taking unprotected left and right safely, changing lanes, checking blind spot, looking both sides when approaching an intersection, keeping to the speed limit always and so on. She also focused on what is required in the exam and made me practise similar routes taken during the dmv test over and over again. She also gave me an hour lesson right before my exam, was with me till I got my license and dropped me back home :) Now that I passed, I will miss her and her fun filled classes very much. I didn't know how to drive at all before taking driving lessons from her. After taking 7-8 lessons, I passed behind the wheel test in first attempt. I would recommend her. She initially focused on teaching me how to control the car rather than overwhelming me with all the traffic rules. Once I became confident with basic driving (turning, stopping smoothly etc); she tought me all the traffic rules gradually. She was farely flexible with lessons timings which worked well for me since I preferred to take lessons during weekdays before office hours. The instructor Jatinder was patient and when I made a mistake she would make me repeat the same maneuver till I got it right consistently. And this was all in one class! Needing a driving instructor to complete my required hours, I asked friends and relatives for recommendations. My friend's mom told me about an instructor that lives close by and so I contacted and met Jatinder. I had three driving lessons. The first day we drove around and got an idea of what I had to work on and did some general driving practice. The second day we focused on what I needed to work on (checking the required spots when appropriate and changing lanes). The third and last day we practiced a bit more but this time practiced entering, driving on, and exiting the freeway. So we chose her to teach my sister because of her rating here on yelp. But what a disappointment after my sister's driving class with Jatinda. My sister express that Jatinda was impatient and gets upset when she do little things wrong. And instead of teaching and encouraging and point her error, she tells her that she wont pass. And one more thing, while my sister was driving she express that Jatinda was eating apple, and counting money. Thats not professional and unsafe. I had selected jatinder as one of the most appropriate for me and high expectations. But that was before I was ditched. I had arranged for Jatinder to meet me at the DMV school on weekend for my first lesson. Upon reaching when I called , I was told the car she normally trains on and uses for BTW test was sent for maintenance and will not be available till Monday.This is something that I could have been informed about proactively earlier. While trying to ensure I do not loose precious training time , I suggest a time split option which was not fine with her But she came up with a Business increasing ideas of offering me a discount on a lesson the day of the BTW test !!! I would say she need to manage her timesheet better and try to be a bit customer centric. The only good that came out of the whole episode was that I searched for and found another instructor with very good knowledge of the DMV. I would say book Jatinder only at your own risk read more
