I am leaving a review of one star only because leaving zero is not an option.
Working with Diana started out seemingly as a good experience. I trusted the reviews that were posted here previously. We left our 1 year old dog with Diana for 2 weeks for the board and train program. Unfortunately, due to a lack of attention to the dogs, our dog managed to get out of her gate just a day after we dropped him off, and run away from her facility. Some time passed before anyone noticed, and he was picked up by the police and taken to the pound. He was not wearing the tags that we provided her with, so the police were unable to contact us. Diana did retrieve our dog from the pound. It was not until we went in for a training session a week and a half into the 2 week training program that Diana casually mentioned that our dog had gotten out of the training facility. She is located on a very busy road, and the dog could have very easily ran into the road and gotten hit by a car. Though the dog was picked up by police quickly, Diana admittedly chose to wait several hours before retrieving him from the pound, although the description they gave her matched our dog. As I stated before, we were never informed of this on the day that it occurred, instead we received a text message the following day stating that our dog was having a great time and everything was going great. I understand that accidents do happen, but my anger comes from how Diana chose to handle the situation. Once she shared this information with me, I pulled my dog from the program with 3 days remaining because I no longer trusted the facility to provide a safe place for my dog to stay. Since then I have been trying to contact Diana for the past month and a half to set up a meeting to discuss returning my dog tags (which she was unable to give us the day we picked him up) and to discuss a refund for the 3 days of which my dog was not in her care. It has now been well over a month since I've last seen her. She claims to be extremely busy and unable to find any time to sit down with me, though when I was setting up my initial appointments with her, she was willing to meet at any time and was very flexible. Eventually, she emailed me and told me that she put my dog tags in the mail, and that I should have them soon. She also denied my refund, stating that she had already completed all of the training she was going to do, anyways. This was a surprise to us, because we were under the impression that he would be in training for the duration of the 2 week program, as we were told in our consultation.
It has now been 2 weeks from the date she says she sent the tags, and they still have not arrived, though we live 25 minutes away from one another. I have yet to receive a response to my last email, which was sent a week ago.
Guys- for the money you are about to shell out, I recommend you go elsewhere to a more professional, equipped facility with more qualified employees and avoid making my mistake. The last 7 weeks have been nothing short of extremely frustrating. read more
