We have used the grooming, doggy daycare, boarding, board & train, private training sessions and group classes. Each of my rescue dogs have had issues with leash reactivity, and the trainers at HTR have been a godsend. Truly life changing stuff! One thing I appreciate is that the staff will customize care for dogs, for example they provide one-on-one time for my fearful, skittish dog. They ensure safe, controlled socialization which has been amazing. When I leave my dogs for daycare and boarding, I know they are in good hands and are well cared for - this gives me peace of mind. I have worked with multiple HTR trainers, including Amy the owner, and they are all excellent. They are truly invested in our success and are very knowledgeable and caring. To be honest, it feels like family. I'm really grateful for the services and level of care provided by HTR.

She is reliable, honest, friendly, caring, great with pets and when you meet her you can tell that she LOVES animals and is in the right profession. My husband and I would joke that she took better care of our cats than we did--but it was probably true! She would leave detailed notes about her time caring for them and it was clear from them that she really got to know their personalities. She even brought them toys occasionally (including what is now my cat's favorite toy). She is also scrupulously honest and professional: when we would round up our payment to the nearest round amount, she would insist upon giving us the extra money back. And she never missed a scheduled visit, even when it was snowing and we'd tell her the cats would be fine if she couldn't make it. We were very sad when we moved out of her area and are still trying, unsuccessfully, to find someone to replace her. We would definitely still be using her if we lived closer.
