My family and I came here for a visit with a small homeschool group. There's even a little Koi pond and a large basketball game set (like the kinds at arcades) that the kids, and my husband, were having fun playing with. That day there was such a nice breeze, but it can definitely get very hot during the spring, and for sure summer time, so wear a hat or bring a UV type of umbrella to provide shade. There's also a cute gift shop that my youngest wanted to keep going in. One of the employees, Mallory, was in there at the desk and was so kind and patient with my youngest daughter (3) and we had a really nice interaction with her. There are some gorgeous large geodes there too, so I was a bit nervous with my daughter walking around, but Mallory never gave us any feeling of unease. She reassured we were okay to be in there. Everyone that works there that we interacted with was very kind! I also like that they offer classes and activities there. This place is a hidden gem for exploration and to find some plants and sculptures!

I've purchased similar items elsewhere for less. Overall, the lack of customer service combined with the pricing makes it difficult for me to see the value or them being voted this or that. I live in California, so instead of using a big company I thought I'd like to pick a flower shop in town to benefit a small business. I paid $95 for flowers and thought I had ordered some flowers to be delivered on Mother's Day. Come to find out my MIL said some flowers were thrown on her porch without a vase . When I called shop to see what had happened trying to see if it was them, or if I had somehow been connected to 1800flowers or something on their website, the owner never let me talk. I had he on speaker phone in car after church on my own Mother's Day and had my whole family in car as she told me they would never do that and when I tried , I tried so hard to talk, but she kept talking over me. I couldn't get a word in at all. I had to just hang up because I was shaking and red trying to get a word in. I just wanted to find out if it wasn't her than who could it had been since she said she had stopped taking orders that day. I was honestly trying to get to the bottom of it all. I wasn't pointing fingers. She texts me after I hang up saying she found my order and she'll deliver them on Tuesday. At this point I'm so happy because I really didn't want to have to leave a bad review and I just wanted my MiL to have flowers. So Tuesday would be fine. I told her I was excited to find a florist in town cause I was gonna be sending flowers all the time. So then Tuesday comes and it's 2:30 and I text why hasn't my MIL receive flowers? She responds that she was gonna do it the next day (Wednesday- even tho she told me Tuesday ) when she was going to shop. So I'm totally confused and call her and it's same thing I can't talk and she's pretty defensive and just loud and won't listen to her customers. This place does not handle stress well and puts it all on customers. She told me basically I was an idiot and waited to last minute to order the flowers "and who does that??" and still never took flowers. I got a text saying my flowers were delivered and they weren't, I told her I was gonna have to leave a review because she needs some kind of accountability and she told me basically I was an idiot and it was all my fault for putting wrong date and not checking. She said she didn't give a rats ass- Do you know how many times customers put wrong date and I have to fix? You just fix it . You just do your best to accommodate the customer especially when they told you they want to use you a lot. I am so frustrated still that I didn't get my full refund and I am still fighting this place. I get anxious at the thought of calling cause she just yells at me, and doesn't listen. I am walking away defeated, insulted, frustrated and $20 lighter. For nothing!!!!!

They have a bunch of recurring activity nights like Plant Bingo, Moss N Sip, Succulent Nights, candle-making, open mic nights and more. We went for Plant Bingo and had such a fun time! I recommend getting there early to grab a seat. There were four of us, so we got a nice table together. They play 20 rounds, and even if you don't win bingo, you still get a 2-inch plant. I also really liked that they talk about the different plants between rounds. It makes it fun and you actually learn something and add some plants to your "want" list. They had 3 people helping with calling, showing plants and serving food. They have some food and drink options available, or there's a restaurant next door with some really yummy sandwiches. There's also plenty of parking, and surprisingly, there aren't a ton of other stores in the shopping center, so parking was easy. Before they were delivered, we went back several times to look at our trees to make sure they weren't too large for our yard. Our original salesman was no longer working there, and that's when we met Houghton, who just happened to be around. We explained our concerns about the size of the trees, giving him the measurements of our yard space. He confirmed that they would fit. I was still anxious but went with his expertise. Once we got home, Houghton called us and asked if we would like him to come over and check out the yard personally. (I had thought about asking him but felt foolish. He knew I still had doubts). He came to our home and confirmed that they would fit perfectly. The trees were just delivered and planted. (Side note... the trees delivered were the wrong ones. One call to Houghton (it was his day off), and within no time, we had the correct ones delivered.) I cannot say enough about Houghton. He wasn't even the salesman we purchased the trees from, but his customer service, professionalism and personal concern for our perfect experience, went above and beyond!
