Pistache trees

Pro Care warranty and service is amazing! Highly recommend to add this on for servicing your beautiful trees and shrubs. For a year, the guys stop by 3x and check on all the plants, recommend any changes, like watering, maintenance, etc, and then trim/fertilize/mulch as needed. They can also remove stakes too. My 1st visit was with Justin, who walked my husband and I through the yard and explained different care instructions. Ulises was who stopped by recently for the 2nd visit. He is also professional and communicative. I really appreciated how nice both guys were to work with. I felt relaxed with them at my home and walking me through the Pro Care process. Ulises went ahead and trimmed some trees, fertilized and added mulch. They look amazing!! He also removed one stake because my tree was growing so well. The other stakes we can review at the next service. I'm so pleased with Moon Valley and how well they take care of their customers. A beautiful yard is a big investment and maintenance is important. I appreciate that Pro Care is a benefit they offer to keep my yard in tip top shape!

Crepe Myrtles, Fountain Grass, Lantana, Honeysuckle

For people who are moved by the beauty of trees, and serious about making their landscapes a work of art, it's no secret that Moon Valley nurseries are state of the art when it comes to finding the best specimens and realizing your personal vision. In particular, the Moon Valley on Eastern Ave in Henderson always seems to have a fresh abundance of trees and shrubs that thrive in our climate while they mark the change of seasons. Our front and backyard now feature crêpe myrtles, holly trees, flowering plum trees, and giant oleander... All purchased and planted by Moon Valley. I was very fortunate to work with Eric Sager at the Henderson nursery...helping me select particular specimens, coordinating with my landscaper and basically showing the same energy and enthusiasm as myself for making sure everything winds up looking perfect. Big thanks to Moon Valley and Eric in particular for making the process seamless, smooth and fun.

Awesome for the Dino lover

HUGE variety of plants, trees, bushes and more. Love the metal artwork for sale, dinosaurs, horses, elephants with great detail... pricy but amazing. Popped in last week to address a letter from the HOA about needing to replace a few dying bushes for my mums house. We chose a Japanese boxwood and a couple shrubs after discussing with the experts as to what would he hardy in this Vegas heat. Tip: Be aware they do not offer a warranty on greenery they do not plant. Tip 2: There is a $10 off coupon upon Yelp check in if you spend $59.99 or more, likely if you purchase 2 or more items. They also give 10% Military/Veteran discount.

Front entrance of store

On 03-03-2026, we went to Moon Valley Nursery located at 9040 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada. We wanted to replace our front yard tree, which was damaged by the strong winds we recently had and was bending over to one side, we also learned that this particular tree would grow up to 40 plus feet tall, not a great choice for the location. We met with Salesperson Marc; we gave him what type of tree we were looking at and what our HOA would allow us to plant in our neighborhood. Marc was friendly, knowledgeable, down to earth and he did not pressure us and gave us several options on different types of trees. We purchased a Sweet Bay Hubbard (Huge) PL, which was at half price. On 03-06-2026, Moon Valley Nursery planting crew, headed by Daniel, did an awesome job. They removed the old bent over tree (Shoestring Acacia) and planted our new Sweet Bay Hubbard. They re-installed our bubblers, staked the tree properly, fertilized, watered it and cleaned up as well. Great job to Daniel and his hard-working crew. We are very happy with Moon Valley Nursery and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

No other areas are there for customers. It's a lot of land, but it seems to all be under construction. Greenhouse #1: There's a mix of houseplants, cacti, and succulents. Most of the plants are like 85% healthy. Many have brown spot or were in the sun too long. If you are looking for a fully healthy plant - inspect before you buy. There are a number of cute handmade items, including: necklaces, pots, plant stakes, cute sayings on boards, macrame hangings, suncatchers, etc. Not a large array of plant accessories - but definitely a nice assortment. The pricing goes from reasonable to crazy exorbitant. Most of the reasonable plants are small or common - but beware of small & pricey plants. Just because a sign says a plant is rare - doesn't mean they should be charging $70 for it. One of the rare plants that was crazy high priced - I literally saw at Lowe's for under $10. Overall, I really love the plot of land, the greenhouse, and the assortment. But, I firmly believe in being fair to your clients. Times are hard and raising prices 15% is reasonable for a new, struggling business - but raising prices too high is a no-no in my book. I don't know, maybe they need to find better plants for lower prices from their wholesaler. Greenhouse #2: There's a lovely area with a koi pond. They have a variety of water plants too. - Overall impression: Could be the place every plant lover in town flocks to - if the prices are made to be way more reasonable. The variety of plants is awesome. But, I want more... more quality plants, more tiny plants that don't break the bank, and more cute plant accessories- stakes, plant hangers, etc. I will probably go back. And we did get a nice plant. But, the overdone prices put me off. Maybe there should be a section called "Made You Look" for regular people like me who can't afford the awesome plants that are too expensive! Just kidding. Also, I want to be clear that there are MANY reasonably priced plants.

We were greeted but a friendly guy when we got out to the Christmas Tree section. He let us look around at our own pace and offered to answer any questions. Lots of tree types and sizes to choose from. We went for an 8' Noble Fir which was about $100. Once we chose our tree he quickly carted it out to have some of the bottom of it cut and said to go ahead and pay. The cashier was also very friendly. Pricing here is so much better than at Christmas tree lots and I think they are cared for much better. There are nice Christmas displays in the store and festive holiday plants which would make good gifts as well. We paid for the tree, they helped us place it on our truck and off we went. It's been a couple weeks and our tree is doing nicely.

Their website was also helpful in helping me find what aisle it was located in. Now let's hope the stuff really works because my yard has been taken over by a ton of crazy weeds! I tried a different product that didn't help. They have so many different items in here. I basically was just in the front of the store. I saw drinks, snacks, gift cards, window cleaner, a beautiful selection of healthy plants, grills, lockers to pick up your on-line purchases. Big buckets, home security cameras, lawn & bug killers, cool Alexia voice activated lights, shipping material, etc. I used the self checkout. There were two older ladies just chatting it up with each other in this area. Neither said "hi" to me but they did say "goodbye." The one thing that I didn't like was I parked near some sorta that I went in but apparently I had to exit out doos that were further down. I parked near the entrance hoping I would be coming out the same way so I did have to walk a little bit back to my car. I may have been able to exit out the entrance doors but not sure? So I guess it doesn't really matter where you park because you will still have to walk...but hey! Walking is good for the heart! Lol I do like that they are open very early, I believe it is 6am? I'll be back!
