Then he made a comment as he neared my address, and that was that his meter must not be working properly as my fare should be more like $15.00, rather than the $10.00 it ended up showing. He must think that I had naive or stupid written across my forehead, in order for him to make such an insulting comment for more money. First of all, if his meter was not working properly, that would be HIS problem, not mine and I don't care. But to attempt to extort extra money from someone just being released from the ER, is unconscionable. I seriously do not recommend this taxi service and will contact Memorial to ask they don't subject their patients to the unscrupulous tactics of this company.
