I made an appointment for 9am on a Tuesday and David immediately got to work when I walked in. He meticulously gave me a full set and changed my toe nail polish. He gently encouraged me to spice it up with color, which I'll do next time. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. The music was awesome too. I will be returning. read more

Everything always goes well. I tend to go on Sunday morning and it's pretty quiet they open up around 10:30. It's very quiet very chill the gentleman that worked on my feet this time did really well. My feet look great there was no pain. It was just a really good early morning really good pedicure. I recommend them. 11:00 11:30 it started getting busier and then the energy changed but early morning can't beat it. The price is not bad either for the work that he did he charged me 45 bucks I gave him a $10 tip for all the great work and the lack of pain cuz that's a big deal to me, and went on my way. Happy to pay it. read more

This is an update on my last post. The chrome nails were cool and beautiful but I paid 10$ more for them to chip in less than a week. When I went back and told them they just said oh that's what the chrome does. Then why am I paying $10 more for a worse product? So I went along to get a new set, sub par job. I paid $35 on my card and tipped cash. Fine. Two days later I had 2 addition charges on my card of $50 each totally an additional $100! WHY DO THEY STILL HAVE ACCESS TO MY CARD? I called back. After some horrible customer service got refunded one $50. Still waiting on the second. They do good nails here but are sketch. If I decide to go back I will only be paying with cash. I also forgot to mention, as a lady started to do my nails another woman getting her nails done was not happy and started yelling at the guy doing her nails. Because she was unhappy, my nail tech got up and told me to get up and switch places with this lady, but she wasn't moving. So then I'm just standing there, with half of my nails shaved off waiting for another 15 minutes. Why start my nails and stop them when I had nothing to do with this lady? Every time I go in, I witness a rude customer, which is not right, but the employees always respond back just as rude which is not right either and not pleasant to watch as another customer. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it's close to my new house. Here's the deal...the people are nice, quick service despite being busy. My daughter got a polish change, which was quick and efficient, looks good. Me, I got gel nails done, and unfortunately it was done vey sloppily. The edges near my skin aren't neat, and there's small bubbles on a few of the nails. The price is comparable to most Vietnamese salons in the area, but it's still too much for me to come back for a sloppy job. read more

There are better nail salons all over Broward County. Checked in for my appointment, waited an hour, never complained. Another customer ask for their WiFi password, Andy the other said it very fast and neither of us understood what he said. Politely I ask what it was? Andy yelled at us, "you two do not listen". At this time I had sat in their nail salon for over an hour. As a on and off again customer, it's hit or miss, one day they do a great job, the next time, polish chips in two days. Again there are better nail salons. read more

Be aware of this nail salon I went today for a gel pedicure has she was doing my pedicure. She use the filing machine and cut my toe. My toe was bleeding severely when she got some blue stuff and tried putting it on there. It started burning. She said that is to stop the bleeding told her please stop it is hurting and burn , that's when the manager of the Salon came and said oh don't worry mistakes happen you will be OK with no concern at all. Said I will give you a discount on your pedicure when I replied and told him I am not oh worried about money I am in pain, so please, ladies I am warning everyone about this place. I would give them no stars if that was possible! I had the worst pedicure ever. The tech didn't speak to me at all except to try and upsell me a packet of some lavender liquid that he gestured he would put in the water. He cut me several times with every tool he used on my toes. He didn't massage my legs or feet at all. And he did my pedicure in 20 minutes. I asked him why I didn't get a foot or calf massage and he said that with a basic pedicure you don't rely get a massage. I basically paid $40 for a nail polish change read more

I have been going to Star nails for about 3 years but, now that there is a new owner the quality and overall culture has been unacceptable. My last two experiences were less than positive. They do not value me as a customer nor do they value my time! I made an appointment with one technician and was given another who I waited for 20 minutes to finish another client. There was no one there to greet you when you walked in, They were disorganized and made no attempt to make me comfortable while I waited without explanation or apologies. The gentleman was sarcastic and acted like they were doing me a favor.., I will always wait my turn and really liked the previous convenience and quality of this salon but I will no longer go here. read more

Cut finger funky attitude asked for a design and received something completely diff nail polish uneven nail shape is lumpy and not smoothed out feet still feel hard put a completely diff polish than what i asked for then aggressively wiped it off while i was still talking trying to understand why. told me my nail beds were wide and tried to make them look more " feminine" lol what?!!! pedicure water felt like a dirty tub that u sit in too long that is now cold didn't turn on bubbles no massage. didn't ask what i wanted had gel on toes and didn't soak polish off rather used a tool and shaved it off electronically damaging my nail. hot towels were borderline scorching. kind of rude- pushed my arm back hard and pushed it down on the table saying i was too close when doing my manicure but he was the one pulling my arm towards him.... full set gel nails and pedicure done by my owner andy. acted like he was nice at first and was going to leave a good review when i first got there but once services were rendered changed my mind read more

Women and men both know that in the heat of South Florida; getting waxed is a necessity. The waxing process is nearly painless because it's really a sugaring treatment especially developed in Brazil. As you walk through the front door, you can feel the professionalism of the spa when you're greeted by a very friendly receptionist. Don't expect to wait long and do your work because my esthetician Chrissy was very much on time. Chrissy was so pleasant and cheerful, and made the whole process of waxing not uncomfortable. This was not my first experience with Natura. I have always been pleased with Natura. Every esthetician that has worked on me has always asked if the wax is too hot or if I'm uncomfortable, because they are so concerned about your comfort. In addition, the estheticians are perfectionists. They will take the time to tweeze every hair to make sure that it looks just perfect when you leave. I did not get any of their facial services when I went, but I have had a facial with them before and it was one of the best experiences I've had. It was almost like having a massage. The aromatherapy and the different creams they use on your face was just like heaven. The prices at Natura are very competitive. The most economical way to purchase your waxing or facial treatments is to join their clubs or purchase a certain number of treatments in advance. You know that you're going to need them, so why not? They offer many different kinds of waxing, so give them a try even for an eyebrow wax. You will be very happy that you did.

I had such an amazing experience at Star Nail Care Salon in Dania Beach, Florida! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I got a mani-pedi and my eyebrows done, and everything was absolutely phenomenal. Emmy took care of me, and I can honestly say she did an incredible job. She paid so much attention to detail, and the massage she gave during my service was unlike anything I've ever experienced, so relaxing and professional. My nails have never looked or felt this good! You can truly tell she takes pride in her work. I highly recommend this salon, and if you go, definitely ask for Emmy. You will not be disappointed! read more

This was my first visit to this salon. If the polish holds up I will be back. I had a dip mani and regular pedi with Mary. She did a great job on both and took very good care of me. The price was very reasonable. I just started doing dip and I've been to 2 other places that didn't do a good job. I hope this is my new place! read more

Even though they were closing in an hour, the owner was VERY friendly and told me absolutely! It's always scary getting your nails done at a new place, but my nails were trash so I took an Uber over there, sat down and hoped for the best. They are super short, so it's hard to make them even look decent... The technician (I forgot her name, I'm sorry! She was young, about 25!) did what probably is the best set of hell nails I've ever had. She was meticulous and I couldn't be happier!! Totally surprised,, but extremely happy!

So I FINALLY had the time to go and see their gel acrylic skills, way later then the one week time…read moreline i had promised. (sorry) I worked with Lisa's husband and asked for a full set of gel acrylics in stiletto shape. Of course my dear friend Aimee came with me, and was sitting by my side as he prepared my nails for the acrylics. Now I have to be honest, he was pretty rough with my finger nails, to the point that he was buffing my nails and looking in every opposite direction besides my fingers and therefore ended up buffing the skin surrounding my nails! it was painful!! Then we get to the point where I choose what nail length i want and clip off the excess portion of the acrylic.... Except HE decided for me and just started clipping them shorter then how i wanted. So I stopped him and he stated that my choice would make them too long. (Never tell a customer that the decision they're making for their body is wrong) and I had him reattach new acrylics and start over. Okay so he has the length I want and begins to file them into shape. Well, he basically just ended up filing them back down to the length he picked. -_- I go and wash my hands and wince, because four of my fingers are bleeding... as I'm checking them out he walks behind me and says "its because you haven't had your nails done in awhile". Now maybe your wondering why I still gave them five stars... and that's because apparently the quote "pain is beauty" is true! THEY LOOKED FANTASTIC! they were symmetrical, well shaped, and super pointy. And I run through acrylics fast! I break them here, I break them there, I break them everywhere.. and three weeks later they are still holding. Plus Lisa did my design for me and she was so cute about it... she put extra glue on my gems, and did not give me a stern disappointed look when I showed her I had touched my wet nail on something. Instead she told me it was okay and fixed it. then I got my mustache and uni brow waxed with Lisa (thank god for her gentle hands) and I was set! seriously they were gorgeous, I cant wait to go back and have my fills done and my nails reshaped... although I will definitely keep an eye out when he does it and not be distracted by conversation with Aimee lol. And you have to love Lisa's lovely personality!! :) see you soon!

By far the worst nail service ever. I knew walking in that I should have found somewhere else, but…read moreI was desperate and staying at a hotel across the street. I requested a gel soak off and manicure. Asked several times that my nails be soaked off and not drilled. The girl drilled them off anyways despite me asking several times. She kept saying she was just taking off the top layer of polish and would soak them in a minute. She ended up changing drill tips and filing off the rest of the gel. She starts to polish next. This is not the correct steps of a manicure, so I asked her to push back and remove my cuticle. She sighs to get up and get more tools. She ends up finishing the job but not correctly. This is a very "get in and get out" nail shop. If you are looking for the correct application of service and customer service, go somewhere else. I have flooding on my cuticles and expect this to lift within a few days.
