I got my nails done on the ninth. I got a gel manicure. My gel manicure is usually last 1 1/2 to 3 months. I don't work that much with my hands all the work I do like dishes or laundry or things like that and I don't use a bunch of chemicals that could break down my nails.. within two weeks my nails are completely chipped and look like I've had them on for a couple months. When I called, they said that they only guarantee one week and she said up there is no way that your nail polish lasts that long or acrylic which is false because I've gotten my nails done both gel and acrylic and they have lasted up to three months usually a lil over 1 1/2 months. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16. Just an FYI, for anybody that gets gel nail polish done after they seal your nails then they file the edge of it down, which then makes it susceptible to lifting. Because things can get underneath it like oil, water, and things like that. That causes lifting, which then causes chipping. read more

She was a little rough in the sanding of my feet but everything else including the polish was great. She was very nice offered me a water or soda too. Loved, loved, loved! Walked in and was immediately greeted. I went in for a Dip mani and Deluxe Pedi. Their prices are fair and similar to other salons in the area. Their selection of Dip colors is amazing. As I sat down in the massage chair for my pedi I was asked if the temp of the water was good. Upon saying it was a little warm it was immediately fixed. I was offered a drink, which I'm always appreciative of. Cindy was friendly and gentle with me feet. A definite bonus as I'm quite sensitive. The environment was peaceful and relaxing. Cindy nearly put me to sleep with her amazing massage skills. She also made sure my chair was working and always in massage mode. Jayden did my Dip mani and checked in with me at every step -- was the color what I wanted and how's the length and shape. I especially appreciate how attentive he was on the shape as I know sqaureval is kinda tricky. He was gentle with my nails. Also, the way they do Dip here didn't require use of the light nail dryer, I always forget what it's called. I prefer to avoid that method of drying. Will definitely return. This has been my go-to place for mani-pedi and was for some time. I love that it's not the big mega super nail salon. I can really relax here with the quiet and calm atmosphere. The recently remodeled and replaced all the chairs. The employees seem to enjoy working together and help each other out. Tonight I stopped in for a mani pedi and was an hour till close, I can say the min 7:00 hit the entire staff jumped into action cleaning. The worst experience I've had at a salon. I'll start with the man that did my pedicure. He raised my skinny jeans up to my knee cap and it took 3 different people to get my pants back down to my ankle. I understand he lifted the pants so high to do a competent job, but he should have stopped when he realized it took him strength and grunts to even get them up my calf. This, however, isn't the issue and wasn't an issue until I met my nail tech. However, it does correlate to the end of my review. Now, let's move on to the nail techs. I chose #52 from the dip powder nail selection. It appeared to me as a white ombréish nail with light pink in it. When I chose the color, the other man, (who did not do my pedicure) said nothing but "okay." If knew the color didn't look right he should have said something. After grabbing the color and noticing it was different from the color on the rack, he should have said something. After getting my pedicure done, I moved over to the woman nail tech and she started on her job. Now, when she opened the dip powder I did realize it was dark pink. I was going to say something then, but being the person that I am, I assumed they knew what they were doing and I decided to keep my mouth shut and let her do her job. By now, all of the nails and their entirety were covered in pink powder. Keep in mind that this is my first time attempting to get these "ombré-ish" nails, so I do not know the process, which is why I kept my mouth shut. By the time I realized the nails were going to be entirely neon hot pink, I had already been there 2 hours. I was not willing to wait for her to start over and fix it so I said nothing. I was going to wait until it was time for me to pay to say something about the nails because I just wanted to hurry up, but she kept commenting on how much she loved the color so that's when I took my chance. I responded with, "I just thought it was gonna look different," and explained to her what I wanted. She begins to tell me "oh the ombré nails are coming soon," and I replied with "oh, well that's the nail I pointed at." She then begins to argue with me telling me that the ombré nails haven't even been put out on display yet - so I go grab the dipping powder rack and I showed her the nail I pointed at and she tells me, "oh I'm so sorry the sun faded the color off the nail." She later tells me, "when people touch the nail the color wears off," and then says something along the lines of, "we don't know what happened." I did not care what happened, I wasn't even asking her. I was just pointing out that the nail color on the rack does not match the color she gave me AT ALL. By this time, I'm at the counter to pay and I asked, "could I get a discount because I really feel like that nail color was not my fault," and she had really began to argue with me now. She told me, "he already took $5 off." I replied with, "I know, but he told me that was for the wait, I'm talking about the nail color." She continued to argue. I was done. I cut her off and told her, "it's ok I'll just pay $70 and I was going to come back because I really do like your colors and your work, but not anymore, you're not even willing to work with your customers." Instead of ending it there and taking my card, she continued to explain herself & offered me $5 more off. Ridiculous. She could have really kept that $5. All I'm saying is based on my entire experience there she should have been more understanding of my request for a discount. Never going back. And I would like to say I was not rude throughout this entire time. read more

Was extremely unhappy with the service they did not use the hot rocks properly and barely clipped toenails the service was rushed the toenail paint was put on sloppy. They cut my friends skin on side of his toe and made him bleed. I will not go there again. Very, Very unhappy with the service! They rushed us when they weren't even busy. If I would give ZERO stars I could. She made me leave with my nails having cotton still on them. I told her I would look at something else because she couldn't do what I wanted and she ripped off all the aluminum and cotton off my nails while I had my phone in my hand!!! Snatched them off my fingers for no reason. I was still going to get my nails done. She was the owner too i'm pretty sure. The man who first worked on me was taking my dip off with a power drill which makes it HOT and still kept going after I told him many times it was hot. This lady is very unprofessional and basically kicked me out saying if I don't know what I want I must leave soon. VERY RUDE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR THE HORRIBLE STAFF. I enjoy going to this nail shop. The people are very friendly. The establishment is clean. They do am awesome pedicure and fill-in for me each visit. I have been going here for about 6-7 months. The first time I went, my nails were done by a young lady. I was there for a fill. I told her she was making my nails very thin and I didn't want them that way because they would break. She continued on and the next day while sleeping the middle nail broke. I went back and told another lady about it and she apologized for that happening and said she would fix it for free. She fixed it and did a good job. Her name was Julie and now every time I go I only see Julie. The other lady no longer works there. Everything has been good but I have gotten 2 nail fungus' since going here which is a bit concerning. I have taken the acrylic off my nails for a while to let them breathe and heal from the fungus but if I go back I will be asking for her to use fresh clean tools when doing my nails. read more

I came here because it's local, but I Do Not Recommend this place. My daughter and I came to get our Christmas/Yule pedicures and even tho she is 11 her nails are uneven. I on the other hand or foot I should say.. The only reason I'm rating this a 2star is because the massage was great but my toenails are different lengths and not straight. Also while I was getting my pedi there was another patron wanting his and he was met with rudeness. But he still payed for a full pedi even tho he did not receive one. I will not be returning.
