Nice place. Clean and the staff were friendly. I walked in without appointment and they told me it would be 30 min. I left and grabbed a drink and when I returned they got me right in. Ricky did my nails and took the time to talk to me and find out what I liked and don't like. Since it was my first visit - he explained different products and made sure I was getting what I wanted. I'll be back. read more

Mike did an AMAZING job on my nails (dip) after another place screwed them up, I was anxious about doing it again. But he was the best! Definitely making Star Nail my go to spot! read more

Best experience here! It's such a cute/ updated/ clean place. They did a wonderful job on my shellac nails and the man asked me several questions throughout to make sure he was doing what I wanted. He also gave the option of paying more for a manicure or sticking with basic color. I appreciated that he was upfront about he price difference and offered the info without me asking. I also did a basic pedicure and they didn't try to pressure me into upgrading and were very thorough. I will for sure be coming back here! read more

I have visited this salon 4 time to give them a fair chance and each time I regret my decision. One time my 8yr old and I were getting manicures and pedicures. I was basically rushed through and my daughter was left a few times so they could do other clients or something. We were having the same service at the same time but I was done about 45 minutes ahead of her. And the other times I went in just for my eyebrows it seemed like it was a problem that I came to their salon like I annoyed them to ask for a wax and not a manicure. Also, it felt like they threw the wax on and ripped it of and walked away to the register. It felt like they were extremely sloppy and didn't even give me a chance to say yes that's good or no you missed a spot or whatever. Today she was trying to keep a tip I guess because she didn't give me my change. I normally tip at minimum 15% but I think the service received 4 consecutive times has earn a bad critique. Please care about your customers. You never know what they are going through. Your service and attitude is a big deal. I was trying to relax and not think about the cancer I'm fighting. I wanted to look in the mirror and see beauty and not scars. I wanted to do what some ppl do that makes them smile and not feel like I am a problem or a burden. I won't be back. I pray your experience is better than mine. read more

I am from Enid and this is pretty much the only place I go! THey are very nice and the new salon is awesome. THey are very busy though. Usually I call ahead and make an appointment now days so I don't have to wait forever. Especially if you want your nails done. They are the best in town and that is why they are always so busy. read more

Pleasant experience. Good customer service and reasonable prices. I will be returning.

Usually get great service but this time I could never make this lady understand what I wanted. I left very disappointed.

I live in New York City and came to Enid to visit family for Thanksgiving. I needed to get my nails done and tried this place. I was very pleased! I got a gel manicure for $30 which came out beautiful. The interior was really nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I'll be coming back here every time I visit Enid. read more

I think I've gone about 7 times now and it is absolutely amazing. One time, though, I did get this one girl. She sits in the back and is one of the girls that also do the eyelashes and she made me bleed. I asked for almond shape and she did oval (which seems to be a common mistake here). I asked for the color that I usually get and she went to get the color and came back with a completely different color. I know that they weren't out cause just a few minutes later the girl beside me got the same color I asked for. She cut my nails way shorter than I asked for. Pretty much every time I go in I pray I don't get her. read more

I went to Star Nails on a referral. I sat with the nail tech by the name of Kim. I told her I wanted the Deluxe pedicure for $35. I could not understand her, but assumed she was familiar with her own salon's menu. She brought out a tray of several salts and lotion. I asked several times about the chosen menu. I also asked about a manicure. The manager/owner came over and asked me what my question was. I told him I had ordered the Deluxe pedicure and what was the difference between the selections of manicures. He told me that Kim had all ready given me the sushi pedicure, I told him that is not what I asked for. He told me I might as well get the $60 combo of ped/mani. Kim did a terrible job. For the top of the line, I did not endure the massage of my feet, calves on my legs. The polish did not completely cover my toenails or fingernails. It was a botched, rush job and I am extremely unhappy I was placed with someone new who did not know what she was doing. I hold the manager responsible for not criticing her work. I will never go back and will seek restitution by return of my money. I will have to go to another salon to correct this disgusting look of my pedicure and manicure. If I were the manager, I would be embarrassed for someone to model this service as coming from his shop. Truly unhappy and disgusted I went to a special event with this look! read more

I loved Star nails - but something has changed the last few months. My last three visits have been a nightmare. The first visit - polish came off in a week. The second visit - the lady cut my nails so short she was "burning" my toe when she filed. The third visit (and last at Star nails) the girl kept insisting that she couldn't wait for my sister to arrive. (We were having sister time and getting a pedicure.) I had to finally refuse to get in the chair because she kept saying "sister just wait for later". When she was done, I had two toes that the Polish was so smeared you could see the nail. My heels were more rough than when I came in (the skin was so rough that it caught on my sock two days later and began to bleed), and finally the polish on my little toes began flaking off two days after the treatment. I don't know if everyone is in a hurry to get to the next walk-in that they do a terrible job, but I won't be back. Even the 'sub-par' places are better than this! read more

Absolutely, positively the worst time I have ever had!! I was actually in a bad mood when I left. I had a gift card for a basic pedicure and manicure. He starts my pedi and says oh $5 extra for heel scrub. Okay wired that's not included but $5 isn't a huge deal. He proceeds to cut my toe so badly that I'm bleeding all over the place and then dumps some alcohol stuff on it and burns it. Then I go get my mani and decide to do gel which is $20 extra ( I knew it would be extra, no biggie). He gets almost done and I realize he is using the wrong color so I say something and he says ughh and starts talking to the girl next to him in another language. I said just leave it so I can go. Then after I leave realize he's charged me $60 instead of $25. Go back and have to wait 3 days to get my $60 back and had to pay the $25 again!! Steer clear of this place, it's nice on the inside but don't let that fool you!!!! read more
