DO NOT GO HERE!! They do TERRIBLE WORK and do not stand behind their word. I am rating them a "0"!! My 14 year old daughter had her nails done and within 2 days they had fallen off. It cost her $60 + a tip. The initial work was terrible and Alex attempted to fix them and told my daughter if they fell off or if she had any trouble with them to come back and he would help her. She went back and he refused to make it right. Told her she could come back and he would give her a little bit of a discount. We will never ever ever step foot back in this place. I'm not one to blast businesses BUT I feel like there's an exception for how bad this one was. I got my nails done last Friday and by Sunday they were already cracking and breaking off because the tips were too thin, so tonight I went to have them fix them and the guy that did them was extremely aggressive and rough the whole time, when it came time to cure them under the light, I wasn't sure what to do with the Tupperware lid in front of the light so I paused and he literally swatted my hand leaving a small red mark referencing me to put my hand on top of it to put it under the light, because that's so common right? This isn't the first time I have had my nails quickly break from here either I just keep giving them more chances because it's very clean and nice inside but I definitely won't be returning. Yesterday I got a lady who was very aggressive and quite frankly seemed like she was taking her anger out on my cuticles when she was cutting them. When the pain was unbearable I told her to please be more gentle because it was hurting me and she ignored me and when my visit was over i noticed that there was dried blood left in one of the nails and today i woke up with my thumb being pretty swollen from all the gold digging she did. I don't live in Enid anymore but when i come home for the holidays this was my go-to, but i'm definitely not coming back here again. Waste of $35 that i could have spend elsewhere. I've been using this salon for many years. I live 40 miles away so it's planned usually. This time I was in town dropping my dog at the vet for a procedure and had some extra time (so I thought) to get my nails dipped. This was December 19th and I was hosting a Christmas party that evening. I always get French and wanted a manicure as well. I got a guy that it was his first day there. No problem... I am understanding...until I wasn't. After an hour and a half I left unsatisfied, and no manicure. When I complained to the "main guy" he said he could fix and reshape. I told him I didn't have time today and it wasn't the shape that was the issue it was the dip itself. My natural nails are long and the French dip looked AWFUL!!! It was faded looking and made my nails look short in comparison to my fingers. I made it back to town with my girlfriend (that's who I usually go with once a month) for pedicures and was going to let them fix my nails and since it had been a week he would have to charge me to fix it Unfortunately we stayed for pedicures. After I got home, my husband complained of my toenails stabbing him (I ended up having to file the sharp corners off my 3 lateral toenails on my left foot) and ended up buffing my feet also because they were left rough. When they still scratch on the sheets that's a sure sign for me. Also my friend and I noticed they didn't set timers for the massage (we paid for the long one) and know we didn't get even half of the time plus it was just rolling the stone over the skin, no massage at all. Another complaint is the cleanliness. When my nails were dipped he had me put my hand in the light machine and it has so much crud in it. He never had me go wash my hands before we stared but I asked to go wash them after he removed the previous dip. We will not be back. They are usually busy and won't miss my business I'm sure. Horrible experience. Paid for an elegant pedi which includes a 5 min massage (only got 2 minutes) . I was done within 15 minutes for the WHOLE pedicure which I got a gel french tip. The lady turned off my massage chair that I had barely turned on without saying a single word to me. She cut my big toe and believe I now have an ingrown due to her digging into it. AND made it bleed. When she did my french dip she rushed me as well. I understand she had allergies but when you have SNOT on your shirt sleeves that is disgusting. I paid $105 for 1 hr spent at this place & I would rather spend my money somewhere else than here again. I only selected this place because it was convenient, and referred to us by a friend. My regular salon is in OKC. The appointment was made 3 days in advance for 2 friends and myself, to share a relaxing time together (operative word TOGETHER). One member of our trio was a pedi/mani first-timer, and we so wanted their experience to be a good one. Appointment was for 3 pedicures and 3 manicures. The person who took down the appointment understood my request 100%, being a party of 3, and we wanted to share the experience together for both services. The techs who handled the 3 of us were unprofessional to say the least. We had heard good things about this place, so we were SHOCKED our service was so poor. I wish there were an option to give a ZERO rating to Star Nails, because that is what they deserve, at best. Way overpriced on manicures. They charge $25 for a simple manicure (with or without polish). In OKC, they only charge $15, and that is with a top-rated salon. Only 2 or us received pedi's, as our 3rd person opted out for the pedi, requesting to wait to do their mani with us later... together. They wouldn't allow the wait and dictated the timing. Even got annoyed when the individual wanted to use the restroom, telling them to please hurry back. Our pedi water was tepid, and when I asked for warmer water, the tech said they were out of hot water. The massage stones were barely warm, and what should be a 30-35 minute relaxing pedi, took only 20 minutes, tops. We never felt welcomed, we felt rushed and herded like cattle. I will NEVER return to this place, and certainly never recommend it. I am a heavy tipper when warranted. They missed out. STAR NAILS should re-evaluate their staff, because a few bad apples truly can spoil the whole bunch. read more

I paid for the hot stone massage which was more of just rubbing a rock over my shins a couple times. No massage at all. Then...they reuse the "pumas stones". All of them were discolored and obviously used. They claim to use an autoclave on their instruments...no. I watched them spray the instruments with alcohol and use them on two people. Where do I start with my beloved Star Nail... I've got my nails done (gel manicures) every two weeks for years and have lived in SLC and NY and I have NEVER had better nails. I would have to take a few weeks off a month due to my nails getting sensitive... not here. My nails are the longest and most healthy they have ever been. No breaks from gel needed. I went back for a fill yesterday and unfortunately did not get Dan. I don't know who exactly did my nails but the man I got was no good at all. He was asking me questions but then wouldn't listen to my explanation- one of my acrylics split but was still attached and quite painful so I poly gel'd over it myself to keep it from tearing. I kept telling him that I had acrylic powder but he was arguing and telling me it was gel. I finally had to tell him to stop interrupting me and listen. Once that was squared away, he basically tore all my cuticles off with his rotary tool and then made a joke about needing to stop that (I bled 3 times). After everything was over, I was so displeased with how he rushed through it and hurt me multiple times, I didn't even ask him to fix all of the mistakes he made. If you're going to get your nails done in Enid, this is the place to go. Ta (Taylor) did my nails, and he did a FANTASTIC job! All staff was friendly, my phone call for an appointment request was answered immediately (and I was able to get an appointment last-minute on Saturday). The inside of the salon is very clean and beautifully decorated, and the outside is beautifully landscaped (not to mention it's in a great location). Hands down the best nail salon I have ever been to and possibly the only one I will ever go to (at least when I'm visiting home). This salon has a very large staff so it does not take long for you to be taken care of even if it is busy. They have a large selection of colors as well as gel polish and acrylic nails. I always get gel polish on my finger nails and it is the longest lasting manicure I have ever had. I recently had my nails done in California before graduating and the polish gel polish began to chip just after a week. As I am writing this review, I got my nails done exactly two weeks ago and my nails have yet to chip despite being grown out. I do think that the services here are a little overpriced. Just moved here & decided to come here to get some short squared acrylics & other then them being crooked the guy also pushed backed my cuticle after finishing rather then leaving it as it was or pushing it back before applying the acrylic so my nails look like they're already grown out after 2 days. My nails tech smelled like cigarettes. He didn't put down a towel so my elbows were resting on the marble counters and after a while it was starting to hurt I kept pulling my arms back so they weren't resting on the counters and he would just pull them back it was obvious that I was uncomfortable. When I came here to get a pedicure my massage was very light so I could hardly feel it. Then the front doors were open and the nail techs were out front smoke cigarettes so every time the wind blew cigarette smoke blew into the salon. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in to a nail salon in a smallish town. I've gotten spoiled to the posh establishments of OKC. I was pleasantly surprised. All the employees were very friendly. The interior was just a typical strip mall nail salon. I went in just for a gel manicure but their pedicure chairs looked really amazing! My manicure was good. My technician applied more coats then I was used to and seemed very thorough so that was appreciated. I was just surprised when my bill was $30. I pay $25 at a really nice place in OKC so I was expecting closer to $20 or below. It looked like I was charged $5 for some sort of add on service but I have no clue what that could be. Best experience here! It's such a cute/ updated/ clean place. They did a wonderful job on my shellac nails and the man asked me several questions throughout to make sure he was doing what I wanted. He also gave the option of paying more for a manicure or sticking with basic color. I appreciated that he was upfront about he price difference and offered the info without me asking. Not the cheapest place to get your nails done, but the place is clean and nicely decorated, they did a great job on my solar fills, and I got a top notch pedicure. If I remember correctly they charge $30 for the mid-range pedicure, $40 for a full set of solars, and $15 for fills. Will definitely be returning! read more

Ricky did my nails and took the time to talk to me and find out what I liked and don't like. Since it was my first visit - he explained different products and made sure I was getting what I wanted.
