I Moved back to Enid and was looking for a good barbershop. I went to a couple and was not impressed. Then I went to Bluejays. Their prices are not anymore expensive when I lived in Arkansas. The haircut was much better than the other barbershops I went to here in Enid read more

Never had a bad experience. My kids and I have been going for a few years now. 10/10 would recommend

Bluejays is definitely a staple in the community. There are some good barbers there and there is a great old school vibe. Ask for Scott, he takes walk ins all day and knows what he is doing! Very dependable and will take great care of his customers. read more

Pricey haircut for a barbershop that can't even blend a fade well. It's one of those barbershop where they'll give you a high fade when you ask for a medium. I asked for a medium low just to make sure my barber knew that I didn't want the medium up so high but ended up getting a high fade instead... might as well go to a super cuts read more

Josh and Company do an excellent job. Straight razor shaves, excellent cuts, conversation, functionally retro atmosphere, and treats in the old white fridge. Between Josh, Emma, and Crazy Socks; if you can't be happy with a cut here you must be bald. read more

The best hair cut I have ever had! Super cool atmosphere and Josh is a really cool dude. I also got my beard trimmed while I was there and Josh sculpted it into a master piece. This will definitely be a recurring adventure for me! read more

Bluejays Barber Shop - Josh doing what he does best!!! - Barbers Near Me - Enid, Oklahoma

A breath of fresh air in this Bible Belt small town, Bluejay's Barber Shop & Beauty Bar is the one place I will miss most once we move. I absolutely adore the vintage barber shop decor and theme. Every time I walk in, I am always greeted with a friendly "Hello." I can't really speak for the men's side (although those boys do seem so relaxed with the warm, wet towel application - I almost wish I had a beard so Jack could cover my face with pure relaxation....so to speak?), but I can't say enough about Renee, the only lady who has done my hair there the past year. I was a "virgin head" when I met her (never dyed my hair before) and she carefully transformed my hair into something special. Ladies - she knows what she's doing. She pays attention to your type and style, and carefully caters to your needs. My hair has never been healthier, and I owe it all to Renee. Plus, she's a riot - I guarantee her hair color will be different every time you see her. Tip - It seems most guys can just walk in for a haircut, but sometimes the place can easily get swamped. I recommend making an appointment. Highly recommend this place - good company, people, work, and atmosphere. Stay awesome, Bluejay's! read more

For years I would stop in to whatever hair cutting place I would see as I drove down the road. And for years I suffered from subpar haircuts. On rare occasion I would get a cut that was done well and nice, alas the next time I returned it was an all-new crop of "stylists" and more poor haircuts. That is now all in the past! I stopped in to BlueJays because I was looking for both a professional barber and an old style barber shop with the services provided there. A place that when you walk in you already know the name of your barber and most likely they know yours. Ricky Davis sat me in his chair and asked what I wanted, I told him a #2 on the sides and back all the way up and trim the thinning top. Not only did he give me the best haircut I've had in decades, he razor shaved the back and trimmed my ears and eyebrows (not the level of service you'd get at a chain store place). I felt fantastic when I left, I felt like I had done something nice for myself (now I understand why my wife like her stylist so much). Next time I go I'm going to let them give me a razor shave, and I'm scared to death of razors. The service and professionalism is on a level that I comfortable enough to let Bluejays give me the shave! read more

Finally took my friend's advice to get a haircut a Blue Jay's and glad I listened! The first time I went as a walk-in and sat in Emma's chair. She was very friendly and outgoing and did a fine job! The next couple times I dropped in as a walk-in again and got Josh's new apprentice Jake as my barber. He did a great job too and was also fun to talk to. Finally I made an appointment with Josh for a haircut and straight razor shave. His reputation is well deserved! If you want a quality haircut with attention to detail in an awesome vintage atmosphere with fun and friendly staff, this is the place! They accept cash and credit cards. Looking forward to the move to the new location around the corner! read more

Bluejays Barber Shop - Small Pompadour and straight razor shave by Josh - Barbers Near Me - Enid, Oklahoma

Little more expensive than say, Supercuts, but it's definitely worth the extra cash. All haircuts look professionally done. I was just a walk in with Juan and he gave me probably one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I've even paid $50 for a haircut with a pro before and he bested them. If only he could do appointments! read more

Loved this place. Reasonable price, outstanding service, and you can't beat the straight shave to clean up the edges. I just moved away, and when I told them it was my last haircut with them, they asked where I was moving to and recommended a new barber for me by searching themselves. Just talking to Josh, you know how much he dedicates himself to this business. Truly a professional in every sense of the word. Stop by or make an appointment, and I can't imagine you'll ever go anywhere else. read more

I can't say the walk in was very great for me. I found the place not very well clean and I really don't like having to go home and finish trimming up a fresh cut. Especially after paying 21$ back to the old for sure. read more

Been a few times with good cuts, but the last time I will ever go they told me a 15 minute wait, over an hour and a half later I was still not seen without any remarks from the staff, one of the staffs friends came in without an appointment and was seen before me, I was the only person waiting and was doing so for over an hour. I will never go back and will be letting all if my coworkers know the same. Thanks! read more

Only spot in town for a perfect haircut! Josh is quick and efficient. There is a reason for a almost three week wait to see him. Worth it! Make sure you make an appt online and arrive on time. He also has great hair products for sale here read more

Bluejays Barber Shop - Josh always provides a great haircut and service ! This is the best place for a haircut in enid ! - Barbers Near Me - Enid, Oklahoma

There was a time when I did not know what it was like to have a great haircut. I could find places that offered decent haircuts and horrible disasters, but the art of cutting a man's hair is not overflowing with masters. Thankfully, I found a spot where a few of these masters gather. Jack has been cutting hair longer than I have been alive. That means he's seen every head shape out there, he knows what hairstyles are timeless, and I suspect he knew what I wanted before I said a word. Much like tailoring an outfit, straight razor detailing on the back of the neck and sideburns serve to polish the job just right. To all you men out there who are tired of bad haircuts and stylists who don't understand how to make hair look decent if it isn't shoulder length, this is the place to go. Walking in and knowing for certain that a haircut is only going to make me look better is a nice feeling. read more

Came to BlueJay's after a missed appointment, and got a walk-in appointment soon after. Juan gave me the best haircut I've ever had! In the past, I've settled with the idea that "I'd grow in to it", but I left with a haircut I loved right away! Will be returning again soon! Thanks Juan! read more

I wish I didn't have to give this place such a low rating. The atmosphere was really cool and defiantly a great addition to the downtown. I was told that they had a few ladies there that could do woman's hair and they could do a great job at retro hairstyles. I called ahead to ask if they were able to do victory rolls and I was told that was not a problem at all. The lady, Renee, seemed super excited to do this hair style. So before I start pointing out why i gave this shop a low rating , I would like to point out the great 1st. This is a top notch barber shop. If I was rating the barber side of things I would give it 5 stars, in fact more if I could. While getting my hair done I saw great cuts and great shaves. Boys and short haired ladies go here now!!!! So back to the wedding hair. Renee was not able to do what we asked for at all. She was cussing while attempting to go a victory roll on my MOH. She couldn't do it. why? Well she didn't curl it right it or tease the hair to hold the curl. She blamed it on my MOH's bangs . This was unprofessional and very disappointing. I was able to do a victory roll on her hair several times before that day. Also I told Renee about 8 times that my MOH's hair had a difficult time holding curl. She didn't turn up the heat on the curling iron, hardly used any product and it showed. Her hair fell straight In less than an hour. We had to curl it ourselves at the hotel since we were on a super tight schedule. Also I had to redo my other bridesmaids hair as well. Mine fell before the ceremony as well. She told us to come back in if it had fell but we didn't want to bother due to the morning experience. So to make this super long review come to an end. This was the WORST $180, on three people, ever spent in my life. read more

Absolutely the best haircut around! They've recently moved to a new space on Grand, much bigger and better than their old place. Straight-razor shaves, typically short waiting lines, and a great ambiance make Bluejays the place to go. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants someone who cares about their hair behind the scissors. Go to Bluejays! read more

First time great experience...second time sign on door says walk ins welcome, I went in the barber who greeted said finishing here and then one ahead of you, doesn't walk ins usually mean immediate available? I agree to wait through both cuts, the barber finished the cut in front of me cleaned up walked to the front door changed the sign to no walk ins, which I thought was for my cut, and walked out the back door. Waited 45 minutes and got stood up. Never going back! Idiot read more
