I found this extremely uncomfortable and intense--there was no variation in technique, I ended up with increased soreness and pain in areas that weren't bothering me before, rather than any relief. While I understand different therapists have different styles, this approach felt overly aggressive for my needs and wasn't what I expected from a professional massage.
