Had this company install glass shower wall and door in our newly renovated master bath. Salesman was extremely helpful, however, the installer was rushed, messy, and showed no attention to detail. 1/2 the silicone caulk was not smoothed, one spot had no caulk at all, and this was an overall messy job. Salesman came back and cleaned it up the best he could but I ended up redoing the silicone myself. For the price of the glass and service I expect much more attention to detail by the installer. read more

This company came out to install our shower glass in our newly renovated bathroom and busted a pipe in our wall doing so. They showed no remorse pretty much said call your contractor and deal with it. We are left with no water and now have to remove and replace brand new porcelain tile and whatever else. Hired Star Glass to replace our patio door glass panel that had broken. They did a poor job. We were not told that they could not replace the rubber gasket around the glass. So now we are left with an unsealed patio glass door that fogs up and obstructs our view. We received no help from management to remedy this problem. I called out Star Glass to give me a quote on a window with broken glass. They gave me a quote over the phone and sent someone out to measure. I paid the deposit and took the total out of my renters deposit. I'm the midst of the initial quote and install they called me multiple times asking me if I wanted to have someone come out and measure (they already had) go ahead with a deposit (I had already paid) and on and one. Fast airwaves to install day and they tell no oh, we can't fix your wi dow we will give you your money back. I told them that would. It work as I already gave my renter their deposit back. They said don't know what to tell you we can't fix your window. Do not trust them at all, terrible company I am out a lot of money now because of their error and they don't care read more

I WOULD NEVER USE STAR GLASS EVER AGAIN!!! , my husband called out star glass to give us a quote on installation of a shower glass, first off we were quoted a cheaper cost then the price that was given via email , but fast forwarding I agreed to move forward with the service, the total cost was $1813, which covered glass and installation. I was told that the glass would take around three weeks to come in from manufacturer from the date that the deposit was made which was on 09/26. Now its the waiting period, I get a call the day of installation which was the end of October, just to be told that my glass was cracked on the truck, and the glass had to be re-ordered, at this point I'm pissed and asked for a refund and was told that I could not get a refund because the glass was special ordered to fit my shower, ok so I agreed to let them reorder the glass, the new glass comes in and I was then informed that the now NEW glass had a chip in it(if you are keeping count that was glass number 2) and was called to the office to look at the glass to see if I stilled wanted them to install a chipped glass, of course I told them no way will I pay almost $1900 for a chipped glass, so now I have to wait on another glass(number 3). I get a call on Friday November 19,2021 to be informed that the glass was finally in with do defects. Eddie the manager advised that I would be compensated for my inconvenience my whopping discount was $90, wow, on top of that I was told that the install would be sometime before lunch, well when I call to find out what time would that be he said he can not give me a definite time as they work on a window, so he then proceeded to tell me it would be sometime between 11-1pm so that is before or after lunch which one is it???? All I'll say is this was by far the worst service I have ever received I am not a happy customer at all, and just to think I have rental properties I was considering using the company for, but no way in hell. I called several glass companies before Star, as they are not the closest. Not only could every other company not provide me with an immediate solution, their customer service was a 1, at best, on a scale of 1 to 10. Before choosing convenience I always consider the type of customer service I'm provided with initially. When I called Star, I was so impressed by the customer service that I received. The representative I spoke to, Patrick, was so helpful and asked questions in such a way that I knew he was asking them in order to serve my company as best as they could. He wasn't degrading , but instead wanted to get to know my problem personally so that he could provide a personalized solution. Not only did he have a solution to my problem , but he went above and beyond to make sure that every step of the way I knew that he cared, and was working towards a solution that had my company's best interest in mind. He also followed up with me ask after our delivery to make sure that our product was what we needed/wanted and that our problem was solved. I would without, a doubt, recommend this company for any and all glass repairs AND, use them for services in the future. The staff was great Kevin did a excellent job . The the work was horrible first the wrong windshield was put in my vehicle i had tint on the top they put one with out . The staff Kevin did a excellent job and changed it out . But the shop broke my wiper linkage and you could clearly see it was broken but the shop just put the windshield back in. As a good business the worker could have owned up and said he broke but put it together and didnt say anything Very bad on the work part. Had to purchase the linkage thru Ford to fix it . I experienced the unfortunate event of my car window being accidentally broken thanks to a situation between a rock and a lawnmower. Fortunately, Star Glass was where I was sent to have it fixed. Kevin contacted me immediately to set up an appointment and told me the glass would be in the next morning for it to be replaced. Unfortunately, the next morning, Kevin called to tell me the glass was delivered to Star Glass....in pieces...and another piece of glass would have to be ordered and thus, I would have to wait another day for the window to be replaced. Later that day, Kevin called me and let me know that it was scheduled to storm the next day (I was totally not aware) and told me to come in some time that day so he could seal my broken window with plastic so that the interior of my car would stay dry. This was such a thoughtful gesture that I'm sure other companies may not even think to do and it was much appreciated. I pulled up, and Kevin successfully sealed my window in a matter of minutes! My car's inside stayed dry through the deluge and I was able to go the next day to get my glass replaced. My appointment was first thing in the morning and my window was back to new in under 45 minutes. While waiting in the office, the staff was so pleasant and kind and I was offered refreshments several times. I was truly pleased and impressed with my experience with Kevin and Star Glass and highly recommend them to all! read more

I purchased a custom glass shower enclosing a few years ago from Star Glass. The enclosing cost me $2700. From the inception of the install, one wall of glass was leveled by a piece of solid silicone. Unfortunately that piece kept sliding out fron under the glass making it become unleveled because of this the shower door would hit the non-moving wall of glass it met up with. In the beginning they had to come out twice to fix it. The third time they came out they turn the silicone piece sideways and it stayed in place much longer than it did before. Fast forward a couple years, and its starting to come from under the glass like it did before. When i called them to alert them so they could fix it, they told me it would be $177 for them to fix it the back the right way. NEWS FLASH...it was never done correctly in the first place! So how could you charge me for the same problem that keeps happening on a NON-MOVING WALL OF GLASS! Im going to pay somebody else to have it done the right way. I have two more shower renovations im about to do and i will not use these guys again! Warning, you shouldn't either! read more

For my windshield replacement I tried to do local instead of national. Buts it's was like betting on the long shot. You mostly lose. And for a windshield repair what is the payout? A few dollars maybe? Anyhow I had to wait a couple hours past my appointment time for the mobile crews to come back. Two mobile vans came back at once. The installers would not put my vehicle in their shop/garage. "It was too hot inside with no fans." Mid 90's in July and the heat index over 100'F. So they worked out of the back of their vans in the full sun in the parking lot. I tried to watch but the installer barked me away if I got too close. What I could see was the installer hanging on my doors and he used a crowbar to tear off the trim. Two pieces of trim came up missing. The installer said "the trim was dry rot and was not there to begin with." Why did the installer not tell me that parts of the trim were missing before tearing into it? If there was dry rot trim on my vehicle then why did he use a crow bar to tear it apart instead of some TLC? The manager and I opened the back of the installers closed van looking for my missing trim pieces against the installer's wishes. There were some rubber installations sealing strips in a bucket. "That is from another job the installer said". Why was the installer keeping someone's installation pieces for himself? My appointment was for 2:30 but my delayed windshield installation turned out to be the last job for the installer-a smash and grab job in the hot July sun! The installer was long gone before delays and parley wows with the management finally ending around at 5PM with an agreement to a 5% cut from the invoice (they wore me out-I had asked for 10% off to keep me satisfied). If you don't mind your trim flying off your vehicle on the interstate and want to save a few dollars then go to STAR on US 90 in Gretna. read more
