I was calling around to find the best price for replacing my rear window on my Kia Forte. These guys were the only ones who could get it done today. I brought it to them this morning and by the afternoon, they called for me to pick it up. Highly highly recommend them!!! read more

Had an old transom window that was busted during painting. These guys gave me a quote and came out and put in nice new glass the next day. Great job and the price was right. Very happy! read more

Great glass shop. Needed an ol school piece of single pain glass for an ol wooden window. 1/2 the price of an ace hardware store i went to. Super nice ladies up front. Highly recommend these guys for all your glass needs. read more

Outstanding quick service and price as quoted. Discovered my broken drivers door window about 12 noon, called them and drove to their easy to get to location and I am not kidding I was home by 2:30 like it never happened. On top of that I was going to pay $493 at Safelite(including a $40 recycling fee & next Thurs was the soonest they could do it) and checked out at Broad Glass for $223. Less than half what they were going to charge. Highly recommend would tell anyone to go. Almost forgot, SUPER nice ladies that run the shop that were an absolute joy to deal with. THANK YOU BROAD GLASS. read more

I saved $600 by going with Broad Glass over Safelite for a total windshield replacement on a 2022 Subaru with camera recalibration. Good result, convenient location, and lots of personal attention from Sheri who went out of her way to get my car finished before closing time despite them obviously being very busy. Short story: Great local company! My replacement was fast and communication was great. Price was good. Long story: A rock chipped my windshield and it had run right through the passenger side field of vision. Who sits in my passenger seat the most? My mom. And it bugged her. So I finally replaced it last month. I emailed to get a price and was pleased with the quote. So I set it up on my next day that I worked late. I dropped my car off and decided to wander off to find breakfast. They called before I expected and everything was perfect. They were even able to save my brake tag/inspection sticker. Love a local company who offers great service. read more

I've used broad auto glass quite a few times over the years and have never been disappointed! The customer service, attention to detail, and willingness to help all make you feel more comfortable when doing business with them. read more

Fast, reliable and friendly . I have been shopping here for years usually just buying window glass. But last week I needed a front windshield. I recommend coming early at 8 if you want to sit and wait or drop off and pick up later. Thank you ! Great price and easy to get to and I believe they do house calls too read more

I had Broad Glass come out to my place to replace a pane of glass in my front window. They did not have tempered glass cut and would need a couple more weeks. They sent me an estimate for the job which I accepted and I heard nothing else for two MORE weeks. I finally called back again to find that they had not acted on my acceptance. Then, when the installer came out, he did very sloppy work I stalling the glass. Broad Glass has yet to respond to my request that the job be cleaned up. Avoid!! read more

I have used Broad Glass for my auto windows and windshield replacement for years. I have always found them friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them and I love to buy local! read more

I got in the next day it took about an hour longer but I got there :0 minutes before they opened. The best part was they were about $150 cheaper than safelite and I didn't have to wait until 3pm-5pm for appointment window plus install time. All my car windows need will be taken to Broad glass read more

When my friend called me to share that he was the victim of a smashed window this morning I knew where to send him, Broad Auto Glass on Tulane Avenue. He had called another place that was going to come out and fix his window, but not until Wednesday. I told him to call here first. Broad Glass had room to get him in today and at over $100 less than the other place had quoted him. They had his window fixed and ready for pick up in about 2 hours. While we were waiting my wife told a sweet story about how they had fixed our windshield a few years back and had taking the extra care to remove some stickers we had on the inside of our windshield and attached them to the new windshield. so sweet!! I hope I don't need their services anytime soon, but if I do, I will go there without hesitation. read more

Broad Glass I have used several occasions for more than just auto. They are extremely responsive and usually the lowest in pricing. Service is courteous, fast and neat if the install in your home or car! Ms. Ann rocks!!! read more

I came here to her back window replace after it was shattered. I got there as soon as it opened, and there was a small wait. I later came back and was told that it would take ~2 hours to replace the window. They quoted me at the lowest price, ~190 after taxes. They took a little under two hours, and all of the glass was vacuumed out of the back seat. The guy running the front desk was moving around a lot, and wasn't very attentive or friendly at first. But when things slowed down, he was friendly. Will bring my car here from now on! read more

Broad Glass has replaced multiple windshields on various Hondas for me. My only beef was in trying to get an actual OEM-style Honda windshield, which does NOT have the tinted band along the top. (I am tall and peer out at the road through the windshield area that for most people is nothing but sky or overhead tree limbs). My initial high hopes (but just "initial", read to the end please) for a great local experience were dashed when they did not follow my instructions. After clearing telling the desk guy I needed a windshield with no tint band, and then seeing it noted on my work order, they installed a windshield with the tinted band. Aargh! I agreed to try driving with it with the tint, but when I realized that night that yellow lights were appearing up through the tint as green, I took it back. I got the car back a second time, again with a tinted windshield. The manager behind the desk was profoundly embarrassed. Turns out they did initially install a non-tint-banded windshield, but that one cracked during installation and they sent out for another without reading the work order. It was the kind of compound calamity of errors that can happen to any of us. The third time was the charm; I got my windshield without a tint band. I lost a couple of extra hours back-and-forth, but in the end I got the service I expected. Incidentally, SafeLite--with whom my insurer appears to have a large national contract--does not stock and would not order a windshield without the tint band. That leaves Broad Glass in the clear, if you will pardon a pun. If--er, when--I need another windshield, I'll be back at Broad, and will make sure they pay close attention to my special instruction for a windshield without a tint band. read more

They took on a customized job with interest. Communication was exceptional, as a precise delivery was a priority. Even though my job was microscopic in scale compared to their usual work, I was treated courteously and attentively. I had a large, handmade cypress desktop with delicate bits and sentimental value. They split this in half with a well-finished edge. This business came recommended to me by other local mill working shops that didn't feel up to it. Price was fair as well. I would have spent much more buying the specialized tools it took to do this job, if I could even find them! read more

Solid and quick service! So my windshield had a chip in it for a while...and then it became a crack...and then became a problem. When I finally got around to addressing it, I called them. Got a voicemail, but then quickly got a call back. They were able to check inventory and confirm they had the glass I needed in stock and at a price that was at a fraction of the others' quotes. I got there right around when they opened, and then they took about an hour and a half (maybe 2?) to actually replace and set/seal the new windshield. There's a small waiting area, but I didn't want to be indoors given everything going on so I took a chair to sit outside along the sidewalk while I waited. No issues since then, so seems like it's a solid job. read more

When my driver's side window was busted, my insurance company recommended Safelite. The soonest I could be seen was the next day. The estimate was $275. (My deductible was $300. So, I was coming out of pocket on this.) My neighbor recommended Broad Glass. It was his experience that Broad Glass was significantly less expensive than Safelite. And that was the case for me, too! Broad Glass was able to see me the SAME day, and the bill was $209. Plus, the staff is very friendly. I've been recommending Broad Glass to all my friends. KL Jeffries read more

They did an excellent job of replacing the windshield on my jeep. The service was prompt and on time, the customer service in the office was professional and friendly, and the price was very reasonable. I am delighted with the price and service and felt very comfortable doing business there. I recommend them to anyone. read more

I needed my front windshield replaced so I called ahead and verified they had it in stock and then dropped my car off at 11:30 am for the windshield replacement. By 1:30 pm they called me and said it was ready for pickup. They did a great job! Both the quality of the install and the replacement glass was first class. They even went out of their way and saved my brake tag and taped it onto the new front windshield. Besides high quality work the window replacement price was much lower than competing firms. So I highly recommend them for reasonably priced, high quality auto glass replacement. read more

Unbelievably impressed! They took a bad day and made it much better. One of my car windows was smashed in, Broad Glass was able to fit me in and return my car to me at an extremely reasonable price within a matter of hours. As it seems this is going to be an ongoing thing in New Orleans, I'm so glad to have found this business. They even cleaned all the glass inside without being asked, and such friendly accommodating service! read more

They take same day walk-ins which is a lifesaver. I've had two urgent issues (cracked windshield and smashed window from a break-in) and they got both fixed the same day. WAY cheaper than a service like SafeLite. My windshield only cost around $230 here, but SafeLite quoted me approx $600. Reception is friendly and helpful, they pick up the phone quickly and give you an estimate of price and the time it'll take to fix it based on your make/model and the glass pieces they currently have in-stock, no long automated phone trees! They also vacuumed up the broken glass that was all over the car from the break-in, which was awesome. read more

From my initial call to driving away with a new back windshield, I had great service from them. The office staff was friendly and professional, helpful. That means a lot to start the overall experience. The price was a relief, they did it right away, and though I expected to get my car back with the broken glass still all inside, nope, they cleaned it up for me. What more could I expect? So, here's my thanks. read more

Great work they really did my best but I only give them 4 stars because they insisted I get the glass knowing I should get frame work around the window secured first. If u have double damage just get double quotes before letting them sale you a product. read more

Fast, efficient, and almost half the price of the next quote. I had a replacement window in less than a week. Professional and responsive.

I had my windshield replaced here in anticipation of my vehicle's registration. In my experience, Broad Glass provides affordable, quick, quality products & service. It's now been about a month & despite rain, there has been no leaking or any other issues with my lovely windshield. Thoroughly pleased. read more

Excellent choice! They were over $200 cheaper than Safelite and provided excellent quality of work. The USPS and Orleans Sherriff take their vehicles to Broad Glass if that tells you anything. They do not follow COVID guidelines when it comes to masks and distancing. Employees are visibly sick and this is a major turn off. If they do not care about their employees, I do not want to do business with them. Management is rude and needs a reality check. read more

I came here because of the Yelp reviews. I had a long crack in my windshield and drove in without calling ahead. Pros: First Coke first serve Friendly employees Told me I could have gotten a rate of I called ahead Only $218 Told me it would be 2-3 hours Said they'd call when it was ready Cons: They didn't call me after three hours had passed That's my only con, it could have been a simple mistake. I called them after three hours to ask about the status of my vehicle, and they told me that it was ready for pickup. I went there and was in and out in 4 minutes. read more

Broad Glass - Brand new windshield for my car - Auto Glass Services Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

I've come here a few times over the years for any of my glass repair needs. I suggest you do to. I've always heard and known B.A.G. for their quality work and fair prices. The receptionist is a trip, i like her. I've had a windshield replaced here before, and during my most recent visit, i had the weathering strips on my doors replaced. Unfortunately for me, those pieces only came from the dealership, and I despise dealerships simply because of the heinous mark-ups they do. Like, for real, those mfr's ought be put in jail for the things they charge to people, like I've ran across parts at dealerships that have literally a four hundred percent mark-up price tag! These guys also do pretty speedy work. They're not the type that will keep your car for days, or even all day. They get a lot of business over there so they're trynna get you in and out as quickly as possible. Another note, you can also come here and get your brake tag inspection done. read more

This place had a decent amount of good reviews so I went twice to have chips "repaired". However the second time I went, the "repair" looked questionable to me so I asked the technician if it was repaired and he said yes. A few weeks later my windshield appears like this in my pictures. I called and went back in. I'm guessing it was the manager/owner who examined it. Whoever mentioned management is rude and has poor customer service in another review is spot on. The manager tried to avoid blame by saying there was another chip but you can clearly see in my photos the one repaired had grown and is the largest chip on my windshield. Closer, you would be able to see that it wasn't filled properly. I told him that the technician had informed me it was repaired and the manager/owner tried arguing with me forever while talking down/mansplaining to me what a repair is as if I don't know. He stated that repairs weren't always guaranteed & his offer/warranty to fix the problem was to deduct the cost of repair from a new windshield so it's still hundreds, oh and right before Christmas during a pandemic. If it had been fixed properly the first time, I wouldn't be upset about that offer, however I don't believe that was the case and management was unwilling to take any blame for their poor quality. Then his quote with that discount was equal to what another place quoted me WITHOUT a discount so they are overpriced as well. I informed him that he lost my business and I would not be giving a good review and he didn't seem to care at all. Update: I also find it this odd and, quite frankly chauvinistic after the way I was talked to there, that my review is the only one this company has responded to. Nor did I ever demand anything, I pointed out the obvious that the "repair" was not repaired correctly. read more

They are slow. They lack communication with you, they don't show customers no loyalty. And I feel like there work is just horrible. I never hated a car dealership so much. They left some of my sensors unplugged and they got damaged and they refused to fix them. My transmission lines came off after they fixed them and they said they wasn't responsible I could go on and on. 2017 camaro owner here read more

I love Broad Glass! Super friendly service and fast, fast, fast. I went to Broad Glass to see if they could fix my power window, which had died several months before. Although I went for an estimate Mark said they had the part and could do it while I waited. I opted to wait for another day to bring it in. On the day they repaired it, I dropped my car off and before my Uber could get me from their shop on Tulane to The Riverside Mall, Mark called to say my car was ready! Not only was my service FAST, the repair was the least expensive of the 4 places I contacted. It is now one year later and my window is humming along and working like a charm. Yay, Broad Glass, you are my go to for all glass related work! read more
