Full story: I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Lee's Cleaning & Alterations. I brought my wedding dress in on 9/3/24 for alterations and was told it would be ready by 9/26/24. They promised to call, but I never heard from them. On 9/27/24, I had to call *them* for an update, and was told I'd receive a callback, which never happened. After calling again, I was told the dress would be ready after 4 PM. I arrived at 6 PM, and they tried to send me home with the dress without trying it on--very odd! I tried it on, and I'm so glad I did. They only completed the bustle. The hem was untouched, and the snaps I had requested for the sleeves were never added--yet they charged me for all of this when I brought it in. While I was in the store, I overheard the staff talking in the back. A man asked the woman why she hadn't put down the rest of the work on my dress ticket that needed to be done and her response was, "I don't know, I guess I'm just crazy." Completely unprofessional. I will say things got handled in the end(picked it up on 9/28/24 - 2 days after promised completion) and it was determined that the woman in the front dropped the ball by not writing what needed to be done to my dress(but she pinned the places that needed alterations). So I wouldn't say she's 100% to blame but clearly they need to change their system or communicate better with their orders. I've used this place before and even gave them glowing reviews and recommended them constantly to others, but something has clearly changed. The quality and customer service have declined drastically. I'm just disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place anymore. IF you do go here I STRONGLY encourage you to tell them you need your item a week earlier than you actually need it in order to be safe.

These are brand new shirts I haven't worn yet. I told them I needed my dry cleaning done Wednesday morning. I made a point to specifically tell them that. When I get there they said it wasn't done. When I asked why it wasn't I they lied and said I never told them. They said they wouldn't charge me for the laundry. All of the garments I dropped off need dry cleaning not laundry. When I dropped off my dry cleaning they wouldn't give me a quoted price or estimate. I asked them how much each item was the price the older woman gave me was lower than what I was charged. I asked why that was and she lied again saying that was what she originally told me. Even with the supposed discount it was still significantly more than other shops I've gone to in the past.
