This is my go to spot in Tulsa to enjoy a hookah. Its always a thing to have a delicious drink with your smoke. I enjoy the fresh fruit smoothies here. The mixed berry is my favorite. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. If youre new to the hookah and how it works let them know and someone will help you out. The seating here is plentiful. There are a lot of tables and electrical outlet for the devices that need to get charged. Overall a great place to hang out and chill. read more

First hookah place I ever went to. Granted, as it's near TU, there are a lot of college students. On the weeknights, it can be fairly quiet: once I was studying for four hours, and I was the only one there! I love all the shisha mixes and the tea is pretty hard to beat. read more

It's a REAL hookah lounge. No alcoholic drinks, no dance floor, no mood lighting...just sofas and lots of hookahs. We went there for the belly dancing which was fun. Just make sure you don't mind the smoke if you aren't smoking (which we weren't). The Turkish coffee was authentic. The atmosphere minus the smoke or better ventilation would have earned it more stars. read more

It has a great selection on shisha brands like: starbuzz, fantasia, fumari... Etc. the hookah are properly prepared and this is a hard thing to find. Went here recently and really enjoyed the experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hookah was tasteful and lasted a long time. The staff came by frequently to check the coals. We got some tea and some food and enjoyed both. The only disappointment was that we were expecting belly dancers and there were none. Other than that we had a good time. The place seems to have a lot of regulars but the staff still paid attention to us, so that was good. read more

Update to my original review- Every time I'm in Tulsa, I visit Star Avenue Hookah Lounge, and I've yet to be disappointed. I've had a few great experiences that just show the kind of people that visit the place- one night, a large party was having a large birthday celebration, and one of the members of the party came over and offered me a plate with fruit and homemade cake. Also, when I was last there, they offered free (fast) Wi-Fi for their patrons. I was able to sit back and watch Netflix while smoking, which is nice if you're shy and not looking to make new friends (which you easily can, if you're so inclined). read more

Needed a starbuzz on my way to the gulf. Star Avenue is locked in a corner of 11th street. Aside from the flashy-blinky lights, it's pretty quiet here. Not too quiet. The fresh hip-hop beats is set at a proper level and the accommodations are a cut above for a regular hooka joint. Couches are comfy and the service is pretty fast. It's not the ultra perfect full-service delivery. Coal was set on the side of the bowl rather than being loaded and stoked (and smoked) for me, but fuck it. I'm a grown boy. Here's to freedom. Not many womyn to ogle, lots of young men there. I wasn't there to make a connection though. I won't pass it up on my way back if my ride chooses this route again. Best hookah/ shisha in town! You have to try the grape mint with a grapefruit head, it lasts for hours without burning. The ppl that work here are super friendly and helpful. It's a great place to chill during the weekdays and on the weekends they have belly dancers so more of a lively atmosphere. Oh and the house tea is a must! Love this shisha place, of the few I've tried in Tulsa, this one has been my favourite. The tea is awesome and I love the minty flavoured shishas that they have!
