They don't serve food by allows for you to bring food into the establishment which is helpful to the experience. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity celebrated our 119th Founders Day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The drinks were flowing and the cigars were hitting the spot. I can say that the humidor is building out to be one of the better selections in town. Tons of boutique and black owned brands as well as all of the accessories to enhance the smokers experience. I highly recommend this spot and shake hands with the owner as he will make sure you enjoy yourself and take in the atmosphere.

We usually order 4-5 drinks each, but today we stopped after just one because the quality and service were completely off. First, we had to go up to the bar to order instead of getting the table service we usually enjoy, which really took away from the ambience. Second, the drinks tasted like straight juice, my Moscow Mule had zero garnish, and my friend's go-to drink was served in a much smaller glass than usual. To top it off, the prices in the menu book at the table were cheaper than what we were actually charged at the bar. I still really enjoy this place and want to keep coming back, but hospitality requires consistency. If prices are going up and glasses are getting smaller, the quality and service at least need to match it! Hoping management can get this sorted out.

As you walk in to the right, there's some small wall humidors, pipe tobacco, various torches, cutters, etc. straight ahead is a few small smoking rooms, few TVs (one to a room, which I like), to the left is the counter and a small walk in humidor. The owner/operator is a pleasant chap and knows his way around cigars. He has a good selection of sticks that'll keep you busy for more than a few smoking sessions if you tried something new every time. I think the smoking rooms could use a few more ashtrays, cutters and lighters but I usually went during the day so maybe he puts more out during peak times. Upstairs is the members only section. There's a nonmembers cutting fee to smoke in the lounge. Not a fan of those in general but Joplin isn't exactly a high volume city so it's understandable. I will for sure return when I'm back in Joplin. Loved the places and loved chopping it up with the locals when I stopped by.
