I originally left a 5-star review because the buying experience was great. Unfortunately, after…read moreowning the vehicle for only a few days, my opinion changed. I took the vehicle to an independent inspection, where several issues were identified, including an oil leak, a cracked serpentine belt, and other maintenance items. I ultimately had to return to Sullivan Tire and spend around $800 out of pocket on repairs, and I was also informed that the oil leak could cost around $1,000 to repair. What disappointed me most wasn't necessarily that issues were found on a used vehicle--it was how my concerns were handled. When I brought them to CarFive's attention almost immediately after purchasing the vehicle, I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously. Instead of investigating the findings, I was told I would have to pay out of pocket for any further diagnosis, and I didn't feel there was any willingness to work toward a resolution. I was also surprised to learn there was a no-return policy, as I don't recall that being clearly explained during the purchase process. Reed and Ron were friendly throughout the sales process, but customer service doesn't end once the paperwork is signed. I hope CarFive improves how it responds when customers report issues shortly after purchasing a vehicle.

Stephanie provided great communication through the dealership's instant messaging application, which was convenient while I was busy caring for my family member. She was easy to reach by phone and sourced a loaner for me in short order, allowing me to get back to my life. Throughout the process, Stephanie was friendly and easy to work with. I asked a lot of questions, and she took my concerns seriously. If she didn't know the answer, she found out from the mechanics and got back to me quickly. Her explanations were clear and concise. I never felt pressured, she took care of me as if I were family. Bravo, Stephanie. Thank you. I have been ripped off by other Honda dealerships service departments in the area, but I found the prices for parts and labor here to be reasonable and within fair market value, pleasant surprise. I did not however find the appraisal value for my vehicle to be fair, so that deterred me from trading in.

My GF asked about the sensor light not being on and she told her "the new car doesn't have that oil sensor and that the full synthetic needs to be changed every 5000 miles and it was due. When I came back and confronted her about lying to my girlfriend, she immediately got defensive, the service manager came out to stick up for her as well saying she was just relaying what the service tech told her about the oil life being at 35% which is not what happened. She tried to get my GF to ignore the built in sensors and come every 5k for another oil change. Making double what they should in the long run. Shady and dishonest to say the least.
