I rarely can enjoy a pedicure because of tickles and leave more tense than it started. What a refreshing experience! I got a basic manicure and pedicure. As I was getting the manicure, it seemed the coats were a bit thick and rushed between layers. I didn't say anything, but I'm certain they were not dry between coats. Otherwise everything looked great by time I left. It was the next day my review began the downturn. All 10 of my fingernails had spiderweb cracks over the entire nail, after only 12 hours. I also noticed my toenails were different lengths. One foot with noticeably longer nails than the other. I'm going to need to cut them myself way before I was due for another pedi and that will, of course, destroy the end polish. I won't have time to go back for them to fix either within a reasonable amount of time to complain. I might return to give it another chance simply because the people were so awesome. **ONE MONTH LATER** I've always had natural nails. I've never had issues with peeling and my nails are usually strong enough that I've used them as screw drivers. After my manicure here, I noticed deep grooves across the nail and I can't get them to stop peeling or breaking. Long term this turned into the worst manicure I've ever had. I will not be returning. This is not how you treat natural nails.

The salon is new and I've been here twice. They do a phenomenal job with regular mani gel and regular polish, the pedicures are awesome and I love how they do liquid gel as a full set. As a 1st time customer you input your phone number and information and you have a chance to win 5-15% off your first time experience. They operate by a point system so every 100 pts you earn cash and can use towards your total checkout, they offer beverages (white and red wine, water, tea and more), are very clean, they do nail art from sparkles to ombré, all wear mask and gloves and an abundance of nail colors. Bob did my mani and pedi and I loved it especially when I asked for a strong massage. The second time around, Amy (the owner) did my liquid gel full set exactly how I wanted them (natural) and was a pleasure talking to. I absolutely loved my experience here and will be changing my go-to nail salon to her

They wanted another $50 to redo all her nails, instead of just replacing the ones that had needlessly popped off. They have lost our business and with 5 daughters and 3 granddaughters - that's a lot of business! All we wanted was a replacement for a job that was obviously not done correctly the first time. However, my wife had no problems whatsoever with her nail set. Remember, a lot of business can be made or can go under because of word of mouth - especially in Blount County. Good luck if you visit this establishment.

Review by licensed esthetician (5.5 years):…read more I wouldn't recommend this place, not only are the business practices shoddy but there are multiple infractions against the state board of cosmetology guidelines. I went today and honestly should've left when unnoticed them. When I left, I honestly didn't inspect the nails because I get a men's manicure buff and shine. Simple, impossible to mess up. 8/10 nails are completely scratched by a machine she used and not buffed. When I got home I noticed, called and sent pics asking for just a refund of the mani (not even the auto 20% tip I give all service people as I understand the nature of the business). The owner refused. Honestly, terrible business practices. I plan to issue a formal complaint with the board of cosmetology once I've reviewed the regulations and identified all the problems. For instance: incorrect usage of barbicide; the washing machine front load door was entirely white (even though it is supposed to be see through) because it is entirely calcified with mold and mildew (I didn't notice till leaving when the door to the laundry was left open); dirt and grime on the walls of the bathroom; incorrect storage of supplies; cross contamination galore. Totally disappointing. Do not go here!
