I had to unfortunately print some lost pet flyer's and not only did she do the job quickly and efficiently after walking me through the options, but she went above and beyond, especially in the empathy department, while remaining a total professional. I dealt with 4 different employees and they all were helpful and good at their jobs, however Melissa is the type of employee that makes you choose Staples over a competitor even if it's a bit of an extra drive. read more

Unhappy with the service. Made holiday cards and was informed that anything ordered the morning before would be ready. Been waiting and waiting!! Called and the young lady said any order placed past 12pm would received by end of next day. I informed her I placed order in the morning and never bothered to confirm if my order was ready or bother checking on it. She just told me to wait for confirmation. Called later just to find out its been ready and has apparently been put away. No notification or status update, or phone call. We needed the hokidays card to be shipped out by the same day it was expected to be done. read more

I would very strongly recommend against buying any larger ticket items at Staples. Their exchange policies and return policies are probably the worst in the business. When they sell the defective product, they don't do anything to rectify the situation, except refer you over to the manufacturer. Other competitors like Walmart and Amazon, do much more to support their customers in a timely manner. read more

I can not say enough about this STAPLES!!!!! All the staff is AMAZING! friendly professional and extremely helpful. They have bent over backwards during the pandemic. This is the only office supply store or electronic equipment place I will ever go again. The best kept secret is there Tech services. They are GREAT!!! I am extremely technologically challenged and older. I have brought my lap top there 2 x received it back (as good as new) They are patient and take the time to explain to you. y computer needed some updates and had some viruses. They took care of it. I got it back in 2 days. They were kind enough to show me how to play an exercise DVD on my computer. I have taken my computer to best buy (where I originally purchased it) 3 x. They never fixed the problem and they absolutely NEVER answer the phone. I strongly suggest looking into the 1 yr. tech support program staples offers versus anywhere else. Came in to make big ticket purchases on two occasions. These people didn't even bother to come and assist me. Both times I've asked for some one to assist with an all in one and a surface tablet. Shout out to the Customer Service boys . . . was on my way to a house party on Sunday, phone died, no car charger, no back-up map. These guys let me plug my phone in for a few minutes AND they looked up the address of the place I was going and directions to there, and printed for me a hard-copy map. Thought that was SO nice, and they were very good-natured and understanding about it - I am not from that area, but that is enough to get me to patronize my local Staples. An amazing experience yesterday, and not just for me. 5 of us were waiting at the copy print area with one staffer and 4, count them 4 standing around 15 feet away gabbing and laughing. I went over to ask if someone else could help in that area and was given a look of disgust and told the other person was on break. They went right back to gabbing and laughing. Last I checked, Staples is an office store, with a copy, printig, fax, etc. capability--at least that is what is advertised. Yet they could not open a Mac file for someone yesterday to print it out (resume and cover letter with a cutoff of 3:00PM) and she was told this AFTER they told her to buy a memory stick-- a little revenue enhancement?!? When I was paying, they asked me if I had a frequent buyer card (called something else but that was the gist of the offer). I resonded I was going to stay as far awayfrom the store as possible. I'll try Office Max and see if the experience is any better. read more

This morning our computer monitor would not go on. After trying all the usual things, I called Staples and spoke with Patrick Walsh. This was to be the first of 4-5 calls. Each time Patrick was extremely patient, polite and helpful. He suggested we bring both the monitor and computer to the store and he would attempt to diagnose the problem. We did this and he discovered we just needed a new cable instead of a $600.00 new computer. Since I am able to offer this review, you can see the computer is now working perfectly. I have spoken to the manager, Jim, to tell him what an asset he has in Patrick and he suggested I put it in writing which I am happy to do. Thank you once again, Patrick. read more

I'm a teacher and have spent a pretty penny here this year and last trying to print things to get my classroom ready for the year. I have to say, unfortunately I won't be using this Staples for any future printing services. In the past, I've had a great customer service experience, but recently any time I come in, I'm met with some sort of challenge. Although 1-hour printing is advertised, Staples is unable to accommodate this without a 30% express charge. I was told when I showed up over an hour after placing my order that I need to usually give t the next day. Today, I went to pick up an order which was printed incorrectly, as I had specified in the body of the email which pages to print. The employee told me the body of the email didn't come through on his end and refused to charge me anything less than the whole document, even when I showed proof of the email. I'm disappointed in this location. read more

office products are generally overpriced here as much as office products sold in grocery stores. you can get the same stuff for a lot less online or at walmart so i would not be surprised to see this store going out of business in the near future or the next 10 years. similar situation with the post office section here. they do not sell "media mail" shipping option which is the cheapest way to ship CD/books through usps. funny thing though it took awhile for them to actually tell me that "media mail" service is not offered at this shipping store. the first time I walked in told the staff "I would like to ship the item in media mail". the lady didn't even say anything just "it will be $ XXXX". I walked out thinking well that seemed like a bit more than usual. I check the receipt and sure enough I got charged for first class shipping instead of media mail. (BTW the receipt they print is like 8 X11 sheet with long paragraphs in it so it makes customers like us less inclined to located the name of the shipping option you paid for) ok fine I got fooled. But the second time I came here I definitely wanted to make sure I send in medial mail. so the first thing I asked was me: "do you have media mail here?" staff #1: "yes we do"... (yes... she definitely said yes. let me just highlight this) me: I would like to send this in media mail. So I put my packed book on the scale (like I did on my first visit) staff #1: looks through the computer screen "the cheapest option (no mention like the last time that this is not media mail) would be $ XXXXX" me: "is that media mail?" staff #1 looks through the screen again and says after a long pause "......no that's priority shipping" me: but I wanted to send this in media mail (yes let me remind you this since you seemed to have forgotten omg) staff #1: but this is the cheapest option me: but I wanted to send this in media mail. and she just seem to ignore what I was saying and give me a blank stare (like as if she is not allowed to tell me that media mail is not offered). I persist on getting media mail. ...then finally another staff next to her said another staff #2: you can go to the regular post office...we don't have media mail here. okay thanks for reminding me I can go to the other post offices in this town. do you honestly think that I do not know that information? so I could not help doing a short lecture on the both staff on how I should not have been told "yes" in the first place when I asked if you have media mail here. Instead I was told "yes we do" followed by "the cheapest option is" and definitely no mention of how this "cheapest option" is not the media mail which is what I specifically wanted. I honestly do not even understand why she decided to use that phrase "cheapest option" because it's not like I told her I would like the "cheapest option". I knew what I was doing so I asked for media mail. It definitely gave me that impression that maybe they are being trained to say this phrase "cheapest option". I say this is almost worthy of fox news type of undercover investigation. so all in all the "cheapest option" they refer to is not the actual cheapest option for shipping your item in general (i.e. at your local post office etc). it seems that what they refer to it is the "cheapest option" out of limited shipping options being offered at their staples store. please do not mislead customers thinking that they are purchasing the exact service they are looking for by not telling them this is a different product but just referring to it as "the cheapest option" or trying to make the story long by how I can go to the regular post office. Just answer my question "do you offer media mail?" ( this is a yes or no question ) customers shipping: please know what you are doing here and look up your options beforehand instead of relying on the staff to choose the best option...especially when you are trying to minimize the cost of shipping for selling stuff for ebay, amazon etc. anyway, sure enough I walked out. Went to the regular post office and purchased media mail there. thanks for wasting my gas money and time on my second visit there staples. read more
