Op, why do most Staples always look like it is in the midst of a remodel or they are about to go out of business? Like how to you run a store that hasn't been remodeled since the late 90s and it always be in a state of constant disarray. Came here to try and fulfill a need of toner cartridges. Having your own printer for a training conference is great and all until, that is you run out of toner. With that we saw ourselves traveling to the nearest one of these to pick up what we needed. Of course, we must of had the same printer as everyone else and found that out of the four cartridges we needed, only one was available making a run to another location a necessity. That didn't help because until we had our cartridges, printing came to a halt. Price wise, they are on par with others that offer the same items. That is when they have the items you need. read more

I went to the Staples in Clinton this morning. As a Workforce Development Specialist, I spend my days training young people to enter the DMV workforce with a knowledge base of customer service and appropriate attire and behavior in the workplace. You can't imagine my horror to see a Staples-uniformed employee checking out my purchases who had a full set of hair rollers!!!. I spoke to the Manager, and all she could say about my complaints and comments was "Yes, Ma'am." What about sending these young people home to change??? Clearly new staff. The helpful lady I dealt with the last time was replaced by a woman who clearly doesn't want to be here and is overworked. She's "directing traffic" from behind the counter. No personal interaction because she's distracted and trying to do three or four different things at once. A couple other dudes standing around, looking useless. Staples has multiple email addresses on the counter so it's not clear which one you send your marketing materials to have things printed. I initially used the wrong one because it's the first one you see. After standing around for another 4 minutes, I then get an email back from them telling me "due to unforeseen traffic" blah blah blah.... I stood around for almost 30 minutes and they never did receive my stuff. Uni-Braid then looks at me tells me, "you got to wait". She'd previously informed me before I even got my question out that, "oh you got to design a new card", after I told her it been longer than a year since I was last here for this particular business card. I went to the Staples in Oxon Hill on 6/23/22 (my go to main Staples) and everyone of employees I needed assistance from was very helpful, friendly and willing to answered my questions and provided me with helpful information. Anywhere I go, I go with the expectation of receiving great service and Staples Is one place I get quality service. Went to Staples today in Somers Point NJ. Asked "customer service" rep about cables with specific function. The official Stapes Customer service reply was "If we have it, it's in aisle 12". So then I go to aisle 12 and search up and down for something I've never seen or that I'm not sure exists. A real customer service would have been yes, we have or no we don't or something more definitive. But Staples customer service just pass the buck and provides no customer service. Needless to say, I left without any purchase or satisfaction. If you want help, don't go to Staples, they obviously don't care or want your business. read more

My experience with Staples has been disturbing to say the least. I dropped off a lamination job on September 3 and I have yet to receive it when it was promised to be ready on September 7th. My school printed all of the documents and we only needed them to be laminated. The documents were time sensitive and needed to start our school year to give teachers, students and parents vital information. I have been placed on hold more times then I care to count, and I am still on hold as I write this review. At this point, my order should be free and Staples owes me for time, pain and suffering. read more

I went to this Staples today to print some stuff and they were very busy. They had only one woman helping most of the customers which didn't make sense. HOWEVER she was so nice, informative and helpful. She was being pulled in like 10 different directions and not once did she get an attitude. I've only been here twice, but had friendly service at both the check out and print/ship service counter. The furniture dept could use a little care. They were well stocked with essential ppe and nice stickers for social distancing. The guy that checked me out for printing let me checkout with a staples envelope vs the express shipping so it would be cheaper for me to ship my letter. His name wasn't on the receipt, but he was great. read more

There are good people in this world. We have older sisters who watch over the young ones, aunts who are leading the way, and then there's Kiara who never misses the small details at Staples. I don't normally leave too many reviews because I am not a good writer! Although this may be true, I know one thing for certain - I have an eye for details. I can spot any employee who is willing to sincerely provide excellent service not only to meet sales goal but also to meet the customers demands. I came here to drop off a package for ups. I definitely give this place 5 stars do to the friendly welcome you receive from the cashier as you walk in. However, I have to give the printing section a 4. Every time I come here I have a long wait in the line. Lately there has only been one person working by themselves. But I must say once I am waited on the customer service is excellent. I just feel as though they need more then one person. Or maybe I just always go during the time when there is only one. I waited at the shipping counter to ship a package. The clerk NEVER greeted me just asked for my phone number. Then she acts like she can't read the address on the package. Doesn't ask questions at all. Just continues to type. I had to ask her if she can't find the address. She didn't type the city right. read more

ive been a customer for the longest but today i need to print an urgent docs so i come to this location. waited in line to be assisted then was asked to email my docs.. after sending it and knowing the associate its sent i have to wait for another 15 mins or so.. then he asked me to go to the cashier.. waited again.. then cashier said im not supposed to be there. im now upset for the wait and time wasted.. i came back to this guy and told him what happened.. then he said now he will help me. im still waiting for my 8pages docs to be printed. so far ive been waiting for 45 mins.. i love this store but today they are worst!!! read more

I've been renting textbooks for the past 5 years. All 5 years I've been going to the staples in Forestville to ship the returned books. Since that one was closed, this location was the next best option. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. Customer service should be the same 15 minutes down the road, right? Wrong. The staff member in the shipping department refused to tape my box shut. The tape was closest to me so I picked it up to hand it to her and she refused to take it. I told her I didn't know what I was doing and did not want to hurt myself on the blade. She still would not tape the box. I had to get another customer to tape the box. I've never had this problem at the other location. Why work in the shipping department if you're not going to help me with my shipping process? I made sure I thanked the customer and let him know I appreciated his help. I wish he could have gotten her check too since he was doing her job for her. read more

Just had the worst customer service experience when taking my computer in for repair. The problem wasn't repaired in the time frame that was given to me,and was given back to me with problems that didn't exist at first. I had to deal with a total of four employees including the manager,each saying something that contradicted what the other one said.I would definitely not recommend this service they provide to anyone. The manager had little or no knowledge of computers,and wasn't helpful at all. read more
