Same day printing was not actually same day. I've ordered printing from other Staples' many times and was always impressed with the prompt turn around time, this one not the case. Plus the staff was not very helpful when I called to get an update after 24 hours into placing the order. read more

My 80 year old mother was in to get help scanning a document and then sending it via email. The employee was rude, impatient, unprofessional, and caused unnecessary distress for a customer that was trying to accomplish a task she had never done before. Disgraceful. read more

Again, great place. I use them for a lot of things: Amazon returns, buying random supplies, and even as a mailbox. Amazon returns are terrible evrywhere, and this isnt much better. 1 employee, long line, and not much of an idea on why it takes so long. basic supplies: they offer free 2 day shipping on most items actually. It helps when you have a staples nearby. cheap items: the recycle program brings down a lot of prices. I get points/etc which is annoying to keep track of, but it helps with prices of items. post box: this is very convneient and cheap. I recommend it, even though third party company sucks. printing: excellent - i get all my christmas cards done here. cheap and easy! read more

Worst office supply experience I've ever had to deal with. DONT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dropped off an USPS overnight package at 12:45PM on 12/19/2022. We needed it delivered on 12/20/2022. It was not delivered until 12/21. When I researched the issue with the post office, they explained that they did not receive the package from Staples until 12/20. I then went to Staples to get a refund for the extra expense I paid. I was given the Corporate standard response of no refund. I will never use Staples again. read more

Staples Print Me email hasnt worked in weeks, you literally cannot print something there unless you bring in a USB, the nice lady at the counter said there was nothing she could do, no store email or anything like that to resolve the issue. its unebleleivable, especially in the 21st century, now I have to drive 20 minutes to a kinkos. read more

Staples is a cornucopia of office supplies. Much like Home Depot for home repairs, or Cabella's for all things outdoors, this warehouse provides multiple alternatives for anything you need to run your office, prepare your kids for school, and even large colorful tins of Danish butter cookies for your office kitchen. While not always the most competitive in price compared to the catalogue and online outfits, when a shop like Staples is in your town, and you can eyeball and touch the things you need before you take them home or to the office, there is an obvious advantage to the consumer that makes the cost differential worthwhile. It is the only place I buy my calendar for the new year, and I admit to being amazed and amused by the variety of paperclips available. If there is a shortcoming (and the basis for not shouting, "Woohoo!") it is that the staffing is meager and there are seldom enough workers on the floor to help out finding things. Still, I am very happy to have Staples in Newtown. read more

This review is strictly for the finishing services: I come to this Staples location all the time because it is close by to me so time trumps other factors. I get a lot of binding done so I am always working with people in the finishing counter. Although the service hasn't been great (consistently) this is the first time I've been prompted to write a review. The young blonde woman was extremely rude and unaccommodating, to a point where it makes me rethink coming here. While I understand certain things may not be possible or timing can't be guaranteed, there is absolutely a polite way to deal with things. In the past, she has been just as rude, and often times, she has made mistakes with my books, such as cutting off entire parts and having to copy and reprint the pages, which changes the finish and the look of the product. Regardless of mistakes, she has always charged the full price, with no adjustments for her errors. Today, while she didn't perform the finishing for me, I opted to do it myself, and she still charged me an express finishing fee because I was taking the material, which was already covered in the material cost. I would recommend waiting for a different employee to help you with your needs if you ever need to get any finishing work done, as this young woman rushes through her work and does not care about the quality of the product you are entrusting her with. I hope Staples looks into this matter, because customers have an expectation going in that they are in good hands. read more

Took my pc for a repair after it died on a Sunday afternoon. A tech guy (Mark?) removed the back while I was still there, and couldn't see an obvious problem; brought another guy out (Russ) who said it was 50/50 chance it was the power supply. They said it would be 1-4 days for repair turnaround, but I was pleasantly surprised when Russ called to tell me later in the afternoon that it a) was the power supply and b) it was fixed! Had my iPhone screen replaced less then three weeks ago at Staples in Newtown, Pa. I was getting my hair done placed my phone on the counter it began to ring and slid off the counter. It literally fell one foot landed in the apple icon side not even the screen side. Took it back to Staples ask them to remove the screen topper see if it was actually the screen or protector cracked . They refused saying it was "liquid armor" and you can't remove it. I was never told by the technician this was the case. So thanks Staples you list a very valuable customer and I will never step foot in your store again! Pretty great store!!! upon coming into the store, I expected seeing the usual computer software and office supplies. BUT there is sooo much more!! They have a copy center where they can bind books for you in a matter of minutes! Staples also sells a very limited selection of house decoration!! I was very impressed! read more

The copy center at Staples is a nightmare!! I used it twice and they managed to screw up my day twice. I had a very simple request to scan and e-mail documents, and both times I did not receive the e-mail after I left. Both times I called back and was put on hold while they checked to see what happened. Both times they hung up before giving me an answer. I'm starting to think they train their employees to do that. I'm currently on hold right now. It's been about a half hour since they hung up on me. Margaret finally picked up on me and before I had a chance to even ask her anything she jumped down my throat and said she was working on it. She had the nerve to yell at me, when I had paid $20 for a simple service and it still wasn't taking care of. Unbelievable!!! My blood pressure is thru the roof right now. read more

I went to Staples to ask them for a professional scanning job. The girl behind the counter told me she can't crop the scans and that Staples doesn't do that. I went to get the manager. He was useless. He never approached her or asked her anything but assured me that she could, and would crop the images professionally. Then he warned me that they charge per hour, and told me it is not "allowed" to wait for the scans. You have to leave and come back. I told him that they could conceivably charge me anything and he said "it's your prerogative whether or not to use our service." Well, since they apparently don't want business, I'll gladly save my time, nerves and money by going elsewhere. read more
