He signed me up and he even noticed a detail of a tiny little mistake so that I could fix it the picture that I was printing. I came for the TSA pre-check enrollment. I knew from the other reviews that it was in the back of the store but which side? I chose the right side which was wrong, we got redirected to the back left by some staff up front. When we got to the kiosk there was nobody around, so I headed back up front to find someone. Just as I reached the front, two employees said "are you here for TSA pre-check?" What a nice surprise that the staff we had talked to earlier had given a heads up to their team members. An unexpected touch of good customer service. I had done my pre-registration online for Idemia, but unfortunately this place uses Clear to process the enrollments, so I had to start from scratch. Luckily there the helpful young man assisted every step of the way. Scanning documents, helping with fingerprints, answering questions, processing payment. All in all, very painless. read more

I honestly am shocked by the lack of customer service provided to me in the order pickup area for the prints I had made. I paid extra to have them ready early (they weren't) when I had not for a full refund but for the amount of the extra that I paid to have it done early, I was met with rude "show me your pickup email" which is wild to me- I had also asked for my prints to be folded in half. They were huge pieces of paper and it would be so helpful considering their resources to literally fold 4 pieces of paper like I requested in the order. When I asked the young lady and the older gentlemen with closely shaved hair were just laughing. I was standing there holding a baby. Why not just fold the papers without being rude. So I walk in on a Sunday evening to ship some stuff. The guy behind the shipping counter is busy behind the computer doing some graphic stuff for a customer and there are 3 other people in line for shipping. Clearly the guy could use some help. In the meantime the manager is talking to some guy on a bike inside the store about how to build a computer. Mr. Manager, maybe quit running your pie-hole and jump in behind the counter and help! I always went to the location inside the Bella Terra Shopping Center off of Beach and Edinger. The service was good, and I found a few things I could use in my office. This review is for the TSA precheck inside the Staples. It's located in the back toward the left near the grey cubicle. There's a big sign that says TSA precheck if you miss it. There's 4 socially distanced seats to sit in if you're early for your appointment. They also take walk-ins but appointments will have priority. The system glitched and didn't have me on the list of appointments. Luckily the man in charge (might be butchering his name due to bad memory, Arvin) told me he could find me with the code sent to me in my email confirmation. The trick worked and he got my info and the rest was a smooth process. I appreciated that there were disposable face masks and hand sanitizer inside. You can't use the hand sanitizer until the appointment is over since you'll be taking fingerprints during the process. You will get your picture taken so prepare to put your hair behind your back and show your ears. The information confirmation is simple. You're not allowed to have your phone out or use it in the cubicle because it will cause a disruption with the TSA machines and cause the system to shut down. I was able to use my driver's license and birth certificate but the best support is your passport. Felt like the process was over in 15-20 minutes for two people. I recommend making an appointment because they'll have your info from your input ahead of time and you'll have priority. read more

I have used the printing services 3 times now and each time I was really impressed with how helpful and patient the people at the counters are. I always seem to have difficulty using the self service printers because of some kind of technical issues on my end. In spite of how busy they are a friendly member of the printing team always figures it out and gets me exactly what I need. they don't give up if it doesn't work the first time, they keep trying until they get it it right. they are giving 5 star service. read more

Went to Staples to complete and pay for my TSA Pre Check. I had an appointment and was taken right on time. The entire appointment was about ten minutes, with my fingerprints, answering questions and having my picture taken for the completion of the application. I was told I would get a response in 3 to 5 business days. To my surprise, the email I received today had been processed and I received my known travelers in 35 hours. The cost I was told would be $79.00 but since it was a renewal I paid under $67.00. read more

I really miss the Staples that was located at Bella Terra in Huntington Beach. When the printer is out of ink and you need replacement cartridges in a hurry, you can not wait for an online purchase and delivery. I'm bringing the spent old cartridges that have accumulated over time with me. I do this also to make sure that I buy the right cartridge for my printer. Fortunately for me, finding this Stapes was a blessing. It is out of my way for sure, and it rained pretty hard as I drove the extra miles to find it. It is open and not too busy. I see that the ink cartridges are on the side wall to the left. Oh, no, only two security clear plastic boxes left and yikes each is $78.99/set for the combo colors I need. I had hoped they had individual color cartridges that I could buy. Well, this combination set of Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow will get me going. My phone number is still good for any kind of rewards and recycling of the spent cartridges. Payment was easy. I'm glad that Staples accepts all common credit cards. read more

The manager here instead that I buy a warranty for my printer and I usually never do as I think they are scams and never work when you try to use them. He was convincing but also pressuring me to buy it making me sound crazy for not wanting it. I decided to get it as he made it sound very easy and hassle free to get a new printer or a refund if the printer ever broke. WELP! Well I learned something new today! After shopping at Staples for couple years, I didn't realize there were two apps. The one I was using was for home office shopping app, but it didn't give me any of my rewards. I thought I just had to punch in my phone number at Staples to get my rewards. Unfortunately, that's not how it works. I have to go on the Staples Connect app. I've recycled, many toner cartridges but no one at the counter told me that I could get recycled rewards. Today I was helped out by Arvind at the counter, who took his time to help me look for the Staples Connect app, set it up, and told me anytime I come into the store, before I check out, take out the app, and have them scan my account. When the Staples at Bella Terra randomly closed early (around 7 pm) on a Tuesday, this place came through in a pinch. I called ahead of time to make sure they were open, and the associate who answered was really nice and polite. I like that they're open until 9 pm (which was especially convenient for me since I needed to ship something via UPS... And the standalone UPS stores closed at 7 pm). When I got to the store, an associate was standing near the door to greet people and direct people to the proper aisles. Special shout-out to the gentleman at the print and copy center for being so upbeat and helpful even at 8:30 pm. Also, if you've ever shipped anything through UPS, you know it can take a while for the associate to enter info into the computer. The Staples associate was fortunately very efficient. This place is def my preferred Staples! Bonus points for the fact that it's surrounded by lots of great eateries, too! read more

Over the past 2 weeks I've had exceptional service from this location. First up, was a male clerk who was exceptionally knowledgable on printer cartridges. Can't remember his name but I believe I purchased it on Saturday, Oct 15th around midday. Unfortunately, that cartridge only got me less thwn half the b/w pages it normally does, so I went back today simply on a exploratory visit to get advice as to whether it was the cartridge (less likely) or the printer (likely) and what, if anything I could do about that. Alex helped me this time and after he spent some time with me, again very knowledgeable, I walked out with a cartridge swap vs purchase. Unexpected but very much appreciated. I used to have a running joke that Staples was anything but...Easy. One of those necessary brands with few to any competitors that I'd semi hold my nose going into every time. The TSA Pre check staff is unfriendly. The staff member doesn't take your scheduled appointment slot into consideration. The staff member decides who and when they will see you. The only reason why I give this place a 1 star is because of the convenience beside that, I would give it a negative rating. read more

A Hispanic Man with long hair and wearing Pink Eye Make Up was working the cash register. After I paid for my envelopes, I went back to my car and reviewed my receipt. I noticed that the price I was charged was 50% higher than what I'd seen them advertised for online. I went back inside and spoke with the Man with pink eye make up and he informed me that their prices are often cheaper online than they are in store and that I should check the online prices first next time. He said that they did not price match with their online prices. I went home and looked up Staples price match policy which states that they do in fact match their online prices and will do so for up to 14 days from the date of purchase. If it wouldn't have cost me more in gas and time to go back and have them refund the difference, and if there wasn't a man with pink eye make up working the register, I probably would have gone back. read more

I waited 30 min to be helped at the copy center when I only needed to pick up one item that was already paid for. One guy was helping out a customer in front of me (for 20+ min creating a sign for his company) and a woman who came in AFTER me was allowed to go in front of me to check out (with another associate) because she was in the shipping line. To be clear, she had finished being helped in the shipping line then jumped to the front of the copy line by that same associate. That associate then went back to the shipping line to help all the others who arrived after me. My turn took less than a minute but waited 30 min to be helped. read more
