Outstanding Customer Service from Scott at Staples! We recently had a HUGE printing project for our fur baby's Celebration of Life, and we honestly could not have gotten through it without Scott's help. We had everything from banners, placards, photographs, posters, service programs, and so much more that needed to be printed and prepared. Because we relied heavily on AI to help create some of our materials, we unfortunately ran into quite a few discrepancies and formatting issues. We were printing multiple versions of documents, trying to correct arrows, spacing, wording, and other little details--and it became a much bigger process than we ever anticipated. Scott was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. He was incredibly patient, kind, understanding, professional, and genuinely caring. He never made us feel like we were being a burden, even when we had to make changes and reprint things over and over. He took the time to help us, answer our questions, troubleshoot the issues, and make sure everything looked right. Most importantly, Scott understood that this wasn't just another printing order--it was for a very meaningful and emotional occasion for our family. His compassion and willingness to go above and beyond meant more to us than he probably realizes. Scott is truly an asset to Staples. His customer service, patience, and attention to detail are exactly what you hope for when you're dealing with something so important. Thank you, Scott, for helping us honor our beloved fur baby in such a beautiful way. We are incredibly grateful for you and everything you did for us! If you're ever at Staples and need printing help, **ask for Scott, you won't regret read more

I have to admit I price checked my purchase against what's available on Amazon for a similar product. And the prices were about the same so I decided to purchase local instead of buying from Amazon. There seem to be 67 employee is working here today. It wasn't too long ago when I was in here looking for an office chair and maybe three people look like they were working there that day. Maybe because it's back to school season? By the way, there's this huge sign that says balloons are here from party city. So if you're looking for balloons, this might be the place to go. read more

I come here sometimes for projects that I don't know how to do at home. They are always very nice and greet you when walking in. My spot is the Service center. The guys working there are always super patient with me and help me with what I need. They give me the tips and advice for the best outcome. Once I printed a 5x7 black and white picture that I needed and this last time sone sheets of stickers for some mugs I was gifting with my own logo and colors. The jobs are usually done the next day they send you a notification and you go pick up. I paid when I picked up. Very easy and efficient method. Theres always lots of parking and has a nearby location. read more

Most convenient place to get print service! Ever since my printer broke, I've been coming to this Staples location to get any prints I need. I can't tell you how many times this spot has saved me in college. Recently just came by to bring some images for my 2026 vision board! Easy, fast, and convenient. All you have to do is send your documents over to their print service email which you can find on their website. They'll email you back a code, you punch it in, and pay for the service. That's it. You don't even have to talk to anyone, lol. I've also come to this location to do passport stuff. read more

Great service at this location! I support local by placing my online order in the store. Free shipping and helps the local store. Staples Rewards program has been phenomenal this year. I use the rewards to buy school supplies and Keurig pods for work. Sometimes, the online price for product is lower. They will match in store. Great recycling program in store as well. read more

As we were cleaning house preparing for a move, we realized we had a bunch of dead electronic items around the house. We gathered them all up in a box and took them to Staples to recycle. I live the ease of being and to drop in , drop off, and be able to get some credit for the recycling like you would with cans or bottle recycling. Staples does it all from printing, recycle, sell, faxing, and I don't even know all their services. It's a clean store, plenty of parking and helpful service. read more

We called in regarding an HP refill refill and we talk to a young man Asian and he told us she has a product in stock and he has six in stock and for the four colors that we wanted he said it'll be about $100 by the time he came in he has changes the cavalry into $225 so now we are going to get it from Office Depot which they have the same product but it's completely out of our way. Make sure whoever sees this not to shop at this store because they're gimmick. read more

We've had our Christmas cards printed at Staples for the past two years. Their online portal makes it easy to create and edit holiday cards or other print jobs. Their prices are always competitive, fair, and their turnaround times are fantastic. We've used Shutterfly several times in the past, and they do a great job, but we've encountered a few inconvenient shipping delays. Parking is easy to find in their large parking lot. They carry everything from computers to furniture to office supplies, shipping supplies, and snacks and beverages. Our daughters love scoping out their clearance section in the back of the store and you'll occasionally find some spectacular deals. You can also drop off and ship UPS packages here. Customer service is always pretty solid and most of their employees are friendly and polite. Some are lacking a bit knowledge wise, but that's to be expected- welcome to retail in 2025! Their rewards program is great and you can recycle old electronics or printer cartridges here. They offer some sort of program for teachers as well; I'm not very familiar with it, but one of my daughter's teacher's participates in it. I won't hesitate to go in next time I'm in the market for one of their items. If they don't have it in store, their website sells a plethora of items, most of which can be delivered relatively quickly. read more

This is a great place to recycle or turn in your monitors. It's a great service. The process was effortless and quick. The best thing is that it doesn't cost me anything to recycle it. They actually give you points!!! Great opportunity for the community.0 read more

Worst Customer Service Experience I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received. Before heading to the store, I called to confirm whether passport photo services were available. The person I spoke with on the phone confirmed that the service was indeed available. However, upon arriving at the store, a staff member directed me to the back area and told me someone would come assist me shortly. While I was waiting, that same staff member returned and informed me that the ink was "down" and that they would not be able to provide the service. I explained that I had just called beforehand specifically to confirm availability, and questioned why no one mentioned that their equipment was not functioning. As I was leaving, another employee behind the register told me to come back the next day between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM because they were short-staffed and the "TSA person" was no longer there. This was confusing and frustrating, as it contradicted the earlier explanation about the ink being down. When I asked why this information was not communicated during my phone call, the employee became visibly irritated and raised his voice, stating that they were short-staffed, that no one could assist me, and that I should simply return between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The lack of clear communication, conflicting explanations, and unprofessional behavior from staff made this an extremely frustrating experience. I expect far better customer service and basic courtesy when interacting with customers They honestly don't deserve the star either. I have to put a star to be able to post this review read more

Don't do Amazon returns there. First time returning Amazon there. Never had a problem at other stores for return, so wasn't really paying attention to much. My bad for real. Two items to return and both barcodes scan.. (which I thought) . One item is on the way and the other shows I never returned . I believe the kid who did the return stole the shoes I was returning. Talked to the store nothing they could do... like it was going to go any other way. Please don't trust this store. They protect their own. Looks all run down anyway. Stick to Kohl's or Whole Foods..more legit than this place. read more

The people at the print station are always very kind and helpful. I also just placed an order for the viral custom paper and received a email about delays which I greatly appreciate that they did! I love using Staples for some of my print services. The online ordering and customization process is simple. Then you can either pick it up in store or have the items delivered depending on what you order. The staff is always helpful and very nice. If something doesn't look right or needs updating they call with their suggestions and are very efficient. My orders haven't been late, they're usually done sooner than what's requested. I like their school supplies sales also!! read more

I went to this Staples on Friday to make an Amazon and Happy Returns. The staff member helping me was inattentive and kept going back and forth between me and another customer, to the point where I had to ask him to please finalize my return and give me my receipt. While there, my young daughter needed to use the restroom. There are two single-stall restrooms, but one was locked. The employee directed me to the other one, and I was absolutely shocked by what I saw. The restroom was filthy--the floor was disgusting, and there were even feces smeared on the toilet seat. I immediately told the staff member about the condition and asked if my daughter could use the other restroom instead. He said it was unavailable to customers. I then asked if there was any other option, and he flatly said no--even after I explained the situation and the unsanitary state of the restroom. This is absolutely unacceptable. A store that provides such filthy, unsanitary facilities to customers--especially families with children--should be ashamed. I walked out immediately and will not be returning. Staples should be embarrassed to treat its customers this way. read more

Great assistance from Heather in the print department with a special project I asked for assistance with. She deliberated with creativity ideas and followed up with a phone call to let me know it was ready. When I picked it up the great associate on duty was terrific as well and provided additional assistance...kudos to both! Chris Keup 916-804-1206 read more

Husband need to get a phone cable and decided to come here post-hobby lobby trip. Employees there is very nice and helpful to help my man to get what he need, while I browsed and hunt down for bargains. Got those mini notebook refill pages for 1/5 of regular price, a mobile device protection case for 1/3 of regular price, and a pink plastic ruler - yep this should stop others from stealing mine and also a good weapon :) Too bad there is only one staples in Elk Grove, and I will return! read more

Oh boy, how things have changed everywhere and Staples is no exception. I used to frequent this store but had not in a while and a lot of self serve options have been put in place, whereas I really like one one assistance. I was confused, and it was quite busy, however a young man named Chris (print copy section) was absolutely the most helpful person and took time to come over to assist me every step of the way. He did not make me feel bad or rushed. To be honest, he was helping multiple people at once, which was very much appreciated, but he never let up on directing his attention toward me and assisting me. Thank you so much for your employee Chris and his outstanding customer service. also, on that particular day I might add he was actually assisting on the cash registers & checking folks out as well, so he was providing excellent service to everyone! read more

This store sucks. Second whole day waiting for staff to unload ink cartridges for my printer. Talking to staff indicates to me that they are not motivated to help the customers. I will not come back read more

Paper supplies are consistently low. Resume paper - the higher end 24lb paper - and watermarked paper are understocked. Often times the boxes have been opened and the paper count is under the listed number of sheets due to theft. There is also an issue with multiple boxes of any particular color (ivory, linen, etc) being unavailable. Staff will order for you to pick up but don't need anything quickly/same day because you will be consistently disappointed. read more

Came here to buy some supplies for work and asked to split payments, Arnold refused my split payments to be more than two. When I asked for a manager, he said he was the manager, when I asked for the number for the corporate office, he said it so fast, it was hard for me to write it down. I will be calling the corporate office to discuss how Arnold refused my business due to a business having to spilt payments. read more

I work from home and I get reimbursed for my supplies. It's nice that I can go to a place and know what I'm looking for is always there. I went here to buy an ink cartridge for my printer. It's directly on their ink wall and I just grab it and go straight to the cashier. They got a lot of other things too. I buy my giant desk calendars here every year. My portable file holder is convenient and I bought it here too. They got almost everything for office supplies. This is my one stop shop for office supplies. read more

I came here to restock on some legal sized paper and to look around. I was greeted right when I came in and I was asked if I needed help by a couple of different employees at different parts of the store. As I was checking out with my friend, the cashier who was helping him got him to sign up for the rewards program. Overall, great customer service and experience. read more

We ordered business supplies July 20. It is now July 31 and they're telling me my order won't be in until August 8. Which is crazy! Why is it taking so long to get an order from a warehouse? The warehouse should be stocked with everything in the store so they can supply the other stores. This makes no sense at all! Unfortunately, I'm at the Trent Office Depo us somebody else to get us our business supplies. We can't wait like this with orders to fill receipts to print print supplies needed. Very disappointing! read more

went there yesterday for the first time. asked how to have documents printed. was told to email file to them. was there for a while. four other people came and were helped. was obviously having a hard time with some difficulty. the lady I asked initially gave assistance to other people. looked around for assistance but no one was available. poor service. nobody even bothered to ask me if I need any help. think an hour or more has passed and that is when I noticed a male staff closing the doors. Eh, I just appreciate that it's there just in case I need something quick lol otherwise I'd just use Amazon. Had to get printer ink today, which coincidentally is Black Friday; pretty empty inside lol good for me. Staff was friendly, probably enjoying that they're not facing any Black Friday crowds lol. ----- Okay, onto a silly bit. So as I enter the place, I see a legit-looking Santa inside. First I called to confirm they could print out a custom sticker/label for me. I was told yes and to come in. Drove 15 minutes out of my way after work to come in with custom artwork to be printed on a label or sticker. Initially the women at the counter said "they don't do custom labels". I then pulled up their site where it said labels/decals and sticker customizations. Suddenly they could print labels after I pulled this up? After I pulled this up I brought up the custom artwork that was 100% original art. Because my art depicted a picture of Mario they would not print it even though if it's for personal use and not business. I just needed one single sticker 3 inches by 3 inches. ‍ The lady seemed a little stressed and it came across as rude, not going to lie. 3 stars instead of 1 because the gentlemen who rang me up suggested some other options for printing. read more

We stopped in yesterday for the minter sized post it notes that you can adhere to a wall. We found some on the end cap but it wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Out of nowhere pops up a friendly voice asking if we needed some assistance. Usually I decline but the combination of needing a bit of an assist combined with the kind voice from the masked up young man made it a go for me. Adrian was absolutely friendly and so helpful. He helped us not only find just the right item but scanned the prices along the way to check the price in the event any were marked down. After finding just the right item he took the bulky item from the display to hand it over. He noticed there were a few bent edges and proceeded to pull several more off the shelf to grab one that was in excellent shape. We ended up going with the house brand and while it was a little more pricey than I expected it was just what was needed. I'll be sure to come straight to this location in the future for my office supply needs. Big shout out to Adrian. On the way out I saw the manager and Adrian in close proximity and chimed in with kudos for having such a great employee. We picked up a few more items taking advantage of the abundance of well priced back to school items. We also did the donation on the way out so Staples can make their effort to have as many children as possible have a box of essential items for the school year. read more
