The printer was being repaired and had my work sent to Wilkes Barre to be done. I was doing a huge BIG BOY 4014 book sale for Steamtown's big event and they literally went out of their way to make this event a HUGE success for me. THANK YOU Mr. Supervisor. Your professionalism, kindness and generosity was truly exceptional. I sincerely appreciate everything you have done. The display was an absolute hit. It was constantly commented on and I replied that Staples did it and how great the service was. It stood out and drew so much attention to my area. Horrible customer service! I sent my employee there for double sided copies and she's disabled they refused to help her, belittled her, and embarrassed her! The manager was screaming at her and almost made her fall. I was on the phone with her trying to explain instructions on how to work the machine since they refused to make the copies for her or help her with it! Corporate will be hearing from us and Luke is a horrible manager who needs to learn how to talk to customers and disabled elderly people! read more

I went in to find a good gaming desk that I liked, found one, I went up to have an associate assist me in bringing out the desk so I can buy it. The manger proceeds to tell me they don't have them in stock but I can order it online with "free" next day shipping. When I said do you have any other desks in stock the manager was very aggressive about me purchasing it online said it's free shipping which it wasn't free mind you, however it did arrive the next day and I was happy. But then I wasn't so happy when they shipped me the completely wrong desk, I don't have the time to return this shit I work 72 hrs a week. This desk they sent me was rang up at the service desk so shame on me for not checking but don't waste your time at this goofy ass store. read more

I went in staples to make a copy. The machines were a filthy mess you could see the dust/debris built up on the machine. When I tried to use the bathroom it was looked and would have to ask for a key to use it. read more

I brought my 16 month old laptop in because it wasn't starting up. Anthony quickly diagnosed the problem as a probable fried motherboard, which I'd suspected. Although I'd also purchased a warranty, I had no idea where I'd saved my paperwork. Anthony and his manager spent quite a lot of time on the phone with other locations (because I couldn't even remember where I'd purchased it) searching receipts going back three years. Eventually, I remembered that my paperwork had been safely stashed in my lock box; but, I made the decision to just bite the bullet and purchase a new laptop. Anthony searched for every available discount and even made arrangements to transfer all of my files from my old laptop onto the new one...for Free! When it came to knowledge of his products and matching them to the needs of the customer, Anthony excelled. Between the tech support and the customer assistance, this was, by far, the best store experience I've ever had. read more

It's hard to get help in this store. I always have to track down a sales person. There aren't many places to buy different office supplies around here so this is it. Sorry Staples but I would rather go to Best Buy when I can get an item there. I don't think anyone had ever asked me if I needed help in this store, ever. I do not even know where to begin with this store. Not only are the aisle ALWAYS a mess, but you can't really even call them aisles because the entire store is always in disarray. I think they use the whole building as a stockroom. However, I can get over a little bit of mess. I CANNOT get over employees that are rude, inconsiderate, and downright incompetent. The last time I visited with my son I must have heard at least three of the associates using language that belonged in some dive bar. I walked by multiple times searching for something, but none of them could offer assistance because they were too busy complaining to each other about their shifts with language as colorful as a bag of skittles. Not impressed. I complained to the manager on two occasions now. Both about mistakes made at the copy center and her personality wasn't any better than her employees. She was rude and unapologetic. Both mistakes were the store's fault, but no one seemed ready to take responsibility. I've visited another staples store in Stroudsburg and I'm genuinely impressed by them, so I know it is not the entire chain, but rather this one terrible store and its band of miscreants. read more

Even the managers in this store are horrible and have no customer service skills. There is a sign right in the store that says you are entitled to a Staples coupon for a future purchase if you spend a certain amount, and they can't/won't even try to help the customer get it! It is so frustrating shopping there it's not worth going there ever again. read more

Went to have my Samsung Note4 screen replaced on a early Sunday and i was told they had to send it out which i had no problem with when i was told 3 to 5 business days. Problem began when the 4th day came around i asked for the status on my phone and no one knew any information on it, i got hung up on after being on hold for about 7 minutes. i then called back and got a different person; they put me on hold for about 9 minutes when a totaly different person answered also not knowing an aswer to give me. After asking for the person i was originaly talking to i got told that they had to call the warehouse and find out a status and that i would be given a call before the end of the day. Best believe they call me at 9pm right when the store is closing they leave a message that i would have to call them back. of course store is closed by now so had to wait till the next day. Next day (5th buisiness) day i call back and get told to call back later in the day, later i get a call at work saying if i wanted the broken phone back and my money back as well and that i will recieve my broken phone Monday the following week. i refused just fix the damn phone and ill still have it monday. i asked for some kind of compensation for all this BS i got offered 20% back which is shit if u ask me. Anyway sorry for the long review but Monday will be the last time anyone will see me walk in to a Staples. Ps: Someone give the girl (Mila) at the tech desk some kind of raise she was the only one to actually go above and beyond to help me with everything, even though she knew nothing about the cituation. read more
