I started my quest to fix my Ipad Air at Best Buy. Geek squad person made it known that Apple charges the cost of the Ipad Air being that my device is not under warranty any longer. Next stop was to iDropped in Edwardsville. The young man came to the counter, after telling him my issue he asked if I did a hard reset. Of course I did not know how (I'm a desktop gal). Went ahead and did it for me. at no charge. Only thing he requested for payment was a good review. Thanked him. Went around the corner and ordered them a pizza for his kindness. I don't even know where to begin. I started off by going there to get my front screen repaired because I had cracked it. I set up an appointment with them to have it repaired, when I went back to pick it up they had told me they put a faulty screen on temporarily because the screen they ordered came in like that, which was fine, but then I noticed that the back glass was also damaged , which wasn't before. They told me that that also has to be replaced because of how they were taking it off, so I had to set up another appointment to bring the phone back for them to do over again. I got the phone back and every time I would use the screen there would be green dots on it still that would glitch in-and-out, again something that did not happen before. A month went by and I noticed that the back glass started cracking. I took it to a different phone repair company that was recommended to me by a bunch of people, and he had told me quite a few things that I Dropped did to screw up my phone. For starters they used tape that belongs for iphones, be bent my battery in which leaked out so now I have to pay another $45 to get that replaced, again something that did not have that problem before. He also told me that The screen protector that they that I dropped told me that they put on was in fact not a screen protector, but it was a Protective film that you would see on a phone when you 1st purchase it, not a screen protector that would actually protect my phone from getting scratches. And that's not even the worst part, the worst part was that the back glass that they replaced was not even the same back glass from Samsung the manufacturer, but it was the cheap fake version as I was able to tell that the logos didn't lineup And it was made a lot cheaper. When I was trying to talk to the apparent owner of I dropped she was telling me that I was being too accusatory for telling her what they had already told me they did to my phone and that she is not going to help me. I was told my lens in the back was harvested from my old back, and the mic chip didn't line up correctly so my speaker was a lot quieter. FOR YOUR OWN PHONES SAKE. DO NOT GO HERE! The owner is so unprofessional and rude, threatening me with the law because I gave her attitude because she said she couldn't help me and they did everything right and nothing wrinf.. on top of the $425 I had to pay to get my screen "fixed" I had to pay another $120 elsewhere to get it repaired properly and I soon have to buy another battery because this one is ruined now. Mind you I have a Samsung galaxy s20 plus and I just got it a few months ago. So sad that they couldn't even help me with the problems THEY made for me you too. So quick to threaten too, please for your wallets sake do not go here. It would be a total waste. read more

Honestly, this store is amazing. The owner is very kind and generous of her time. If the problem is something that can be fixed through warranty or your phone provider, she will recommend that you go there. I would highly recommend this store to anyone and everyone. Great experience!! We took an iPad mini in for screen replacement dropped off at six yesterday and had phone call that it was ready by 10 this am. Staff very knowledgeable both on phone when inquiring about service and in person! We would definitely go back to this location though I hope we don't have to for sometime lol. read more

Very happy with my overall experience. I saved about 60 dollars going here as opposed to anywhere else. The woman that handled it was a very nice person, and they really do get the job done in an hour or less. I think my iphone looks better than when I originally got it from ATT. read more
