They had been promoting it on their Instagram for $35 and online it goes for a little over $50. They also claimed that the cases were authentic so I was all for getting one at a cheaper price, of course. Anyway, when we came in a gentleman named Juan assisted us and Showed us the case and how they work and all that good stuff. I was happy with what I saw until he told me they were $45 and when I mentioned the Instagram post he insisted that they were never $35 (see attached picture). Juan also reassured me that the cases were authentic and were cheaper then the online price so both me and my friend purchased them anyway. A day later my friend had realized that the cases were in fact NOT authentic and we had been lied to. Honestly, if I wanted a fake light up phone case I could've easily bought one off EBay or Amazon for like $10 so I was definitely aggravated that I spent so much on something that wasn't real even after being told it was. On 8/26/16 we went to the store to return them and that's when things started going south. Juan was there again and I explained to him why we didn't want them. He said he could take the return but that he could not process it himself and for us to leave our name, number and email address and that we should get the return within like three business days. Mind you, this was a Friday so I'm like okay I'll give it till the Wednesday coming up and we should be fine. Well Wednesday came and went and nothing. I emailed the store and got no response. waited a few more days and still nothing in either of our accounts - going on a week now. Finally I sent another email and the manager called me back. The funny thing is he made it seem like I was being dramatic over wanting my money back. He proceeded to tell me "it's only been a few days and that he's not in the business of stealing money." Excuse me, but a return does not take over a week, I'm sorry. Anyway he said he would take care of it that night which was 9/1/16 - I finally received my return on 9/9/16 which was two weeks after I returned the item. Dealing with the unprofessionalism of this place has been nothing but a headache. Honestly, the truth is that all these 5 star reviews are because they offer you a discount if you leave a good review. I would know, they asked me to leave one when I brought them my iPad to fix in the beginning of the year (review which I've since deleted). & even when I had my iPad fixed their was an issue then too.. Long story short I would NOT recommend them :)

I totally forgot about my iPad until Friday , which I take full responsibility for, but not even a phone call reminder? Weird. Upon dropping my iPad off, they insisted on having my password so they could "check that the screen works". I was hesitant, but did it anyway. I got an email from Apple 2 days later saying someone had tried to log into my account. King tech repair handled this situation professionally and provided me with their IP address to show that this had nothing to do with anything from their office. Coincidence I guess. Either way, this place is very professional and did a great job fixing the screen on my iPad.

(For food, duh) Today was my second time repairing my screen here at MobileFlex. Last time was about a year ago and it was just as smooth today as it was then. It's a small stall on the second floor. There are two guys there and the owner or the man in charge (guy with glasses) is a skilled, honest worker and very kind. Fee ranges from $80-100 depending on the degree of damage. You sign a receipt and come back in 30 minutes. In the meantime, grab something to eat in the food court downstairs or wander around the interesting Korean beauty stores and bakeries on the same block. Pleased with the quality of their repair work. Now I've got a shiny new screen again. Yaaay! Highly recommend.

After Tmobile and a licensed Apple repair both turned me away with the only option to turn in my phone and lose all its contents I remembered my friend at PhonePC Repair. The shopkeeper is a really nice guy. He looked at the phone and agreed there was absolutely ZERO water damage and that he would replace the screen to come back in an hour. I came back in an hour to my brand new screen, he charged me a fair price and included a new glass film. Great!

I asked him if he guarantees his work and he said it's guaranteed for 30 days. I paid him in cash when I picked up the phone and he said, "Just like new" as he handed it to me. When I brought it to my son Face ID wasn't working which was part of the water damage. I wasn't told beforehand that he couldn't fix the Face ID and when we tried to bring it back he said that he can't fix that and he didn't want to give us any money back. My son's phone has theft protection turned on so he can't open his text messages, passwords, or reset the phone so we can change the theft protection settings without Face ID. The man who runs the shop was very unwilling to reimburse anything and after much back and forth I managed to get $50 from him but my son's phone is essentially not functional. I would never go back. This is a person that doesn't stand behind the work he does and didn't honor his guarantee.

My iPhone nightmare began when I decided to get my iPhone fixed here. My phone was perfectly…read morefunctional until I decided to fix my iPhone screen here after seeing the great reviews. It took 15 minutes for them to fix my phone. I left with a malfunctioning iPhone button and a swapped out metro card. I took the train to get the 8th ave with an unlimited. Stupidly, I left my labeled unlimited metro in my phone case when I handed it to the man to have it fixed. When I left to take the train, I didn't realize I had my metro card swapped out. I only had noticed when I arrived at the train station and was unable to swipe in. I ended up returning to the store and the man continued to deny swapping out my metro card, thus on top of paying $60 to have my iPhone6s screen replaced, I had to add money to a brand new metro card that was switched out with my unlimited metro card. When I left the store my iPhone button was also glitchy. It would occasionally work and not work, it was random. However, the owner said it's fine. (The screen is a third party, not Apple certified screen that was made cheaply, but it basically looked the same. After a week or so, I had to begin using the AssistiveTouch because my iPhone button worked rarely and randomly. I basically paid 60$ for a screen that isn't cracked, but a button that doesn't work and to get my unlimited metro card swapped out for a new one that had nothing in it. I ended up getting a new phone after the button quit, but I feel like my first iPhone was the best iPhone even after an upgrade. That's just my own bad experience. Tldr; They know what they're doing, but you're getting what you paid for, a non Apple certified usable 3rd seller screen/ product. Also don't leave anything but your phone with them. Response to comment from owner (I PMed this as well): I was NOT there for the 15 minutes, I stepped out to run an errand while my phone screen was being replace, and I did NOT return to the store a week after because it wasn't worth going back for a button when I could just purchase a new phone. It was just upsetting that my metro card was stolen thus, I felt this review was necessary. I also did mention that this was MY experience and that the technicians were capable of doing their job. In addition, when I confronted a technician/worker, nobody mentioned that there was a camera, they simply stated "no". Never got a response back.
