Would leave negative stars if I could. Ordered a printer and an extended warranty on thier site. By n email stating that the printer was out of stock, and the hold on my card would be released in 1-3 days. Great, the hold was released, but they still charged me for the extended warranty, and then put another hold on my card for the cost of the printer. I immediately contacted CS to get a refund for the warranty that I cnn not use since they can't send the printer. Got the refund for the warranty the next day, but the new $1100 hold on my card is still there, 3 weeks later. Customer service has been no help and are useless. read more

I've been to this Staples a few times and can't say I was wowed, but was very whelmed. The employees are responsive and quick to help. It has never been busy whenever I have visited (and I've come during various times of the day), so there's always someone who's around and can help you. They also have an electronics recycling portion where you can recycle old computer parts and other electronics that may have sensitive information. My only bad experience at the store was going to have my TSA paperwork done. We arrived 10 minutes before our scheduled time, but the employee running the picture and registration portion was nowhere to be found. We ended up having to wait around 20 minutes, but after that it was a quick and easy process. read more

I have never been made so upset by a person. Frank in the printing Services was extremely rude and disrespectful. I will never come back. I just wanted to print ten pages at the self service and I left no joke as I right my hands are trembling That I am so upset. It started with ignoring my questions and ask for help into straight up gas lighting and ignoring what I was saying and continued after I told him he was being rude and not polite. I placed an order for 250 business cards at 11am for same day express pick up. They should have been ready by 3pm. When I called to confirm they were ready at 2-ish they weren't and advised they never received my order. Alejandra however came to the rescue! She asked I forward my confirmation email. And resent the order and advised she'd have them ready ASAP! Right on time for my event! Not sure who these negative reviews on here are for but Alejandra is not that person! So this review is strictly for the ups shipping side. The man there is extremely rude. I took a package and printed the label from their printers. I then asked for a sleeve to put the label in and he said "sorry that's for a different service" in the asked if I could use his tape gun or if he could tape it for me and again "sorry we don't share tape" and pointed at a huge bin and you have to buy some. I understand this things cost money but if I'm already paying for a service there I would expect the full service. I'm sure you don't go to a restaurant and ask for napkins and they sell them separately. read more

Whoever is working the print orders is lazy and is not working to fulfill orders. Girls are on the phone instead of assisting customers. I was told my order would be ready by the end of the day. Left work early and Drove an hour to this location the end of the following day to find order is not ready for another TWO days. No call. No update. Complete waste of time. Ordering a desk from this location for store pickup. The sales associate(Anthony) was great and he helpful. He was quick to help by going to get the item from the back (a large desk) and had a positive attitude. My issue was with (David) the manager's attitude when I asked him a question regarding the process for pickup. He furrowed his brow slightly, changed his tone and was curt with his response. Perhaps he has a lot going on and isn't in the best mood. Either way, having a positive attitude (even with difficult customers and in difficult situations) is paramount with those placed in leadership roles. Especially when the customer is spending substantial amounts on office supplies/furniture. I hope he grows and learns to treat his customers with a higher degree of respect and tact. read more

Well since they closed the location in Cedar Hill, this is the closet location to me. Over the years I've been here a couple times, but looks like it will be more now. The store has always been well kept and the staff friendly. I take advantage of there Toner turn in program. Thus is where your able to turn in 10 printer toner cartridges a month and earn $2 store credit a piece for them. So each month I essentially get $20 store credit. Comes in quite handy to purchase paper towels or toilet paper. Now the catch.. you know there's always a catch, is that you have to spend at least $30 every 6 months on printer toner from Staples. So you do have to spend out of pocket @ first, but you do get it back after 2 months in store credit. I've bought all kinds of things from birthday supplies to coffee cups for the Keurge to school supplies for the kids. Plus MOST important it's bought all of my Coupon clipping accessories. read more

This is the absolute worst Staples I have ever been to. Every time I come here there is always a problem. Today I went in only to drop off a package for UPS as they are an official drop off point. I was in the store at 6:20 pm the staff tells me the lady went home early and I will have to come back tomorrow. Are you kidding me? Staples on 4351 DFW Turnpike in Dallas, TX. "Googled" Brothers LC71BK and LC71CL/(Y/M/C) ink searchs and it yielded dozens of sites. Printed a list and selected several sites and printed copies. Took info to Staples and they now DO NOT HONOR COMPETITIVE PRICES. Their current ad shows BL71BKS at $10.49 on one site and $12.99 on another site. The store lists the product at $19.99 - they refused the lower price !!! The 3 pack of LC71CL-Y/C/M was over $33.00, with an ad from Best Buy at $24.99 - match refused. Their individual y/c/m packs cost $9.69 on their current ad ($29.07), but it was refused, plus they were out of stock on two of the items. Called 1-800-333-3330 and made complaint, but it fell on deaf ears, plus the service rep stated they no longer honor price matching as of two months ago. She did not respond to their posting TODAY (12-10-2018) of the ad prices and posting of warranty honoring price matching guranteeing the lowest price !!! This is a form of FRAUDULENT AND DESCEPTATIVE TRADE PRACTICES, also the OCCA, all is false advertising, and with two federal statute violations it now falls under the RICO Act. I went across the street to Walmart and bought the LC71BK for $13.48, their regular price, and the 3 pack LC 71CL for $26.97. Staples lost a sale and a customer. Wow what a disappointment. Placed an order online for some address labels to pick up in the store. The confirmation email said that these would be done in 4 hours, so when I showed up to get them they proceeded to explain to me that they were just too busy to keep up, and that they would not be able to do it until the following day. I don't mind them running behind, but accept some blame and offer to rectify the situation, and not blame the customer. I will never go to another Staples again in my life. The customer service was terrible, the management was bad, the organization was horrible. I do not recommend going there for business cards. You will get better quality by doing it at home by yourself or another company. On top of not completing my order over the span of 2 days, the cards looked pixelated and got lost in their system. One of their people canceled my order and sent it off somewhere else, no one bothered to call or email or anything. I wasted two trips up there only to be told that I had to pay again even though the payment was taken from my account and not returned. All of this was after 8 phone calls back and forth and sitting on the phone on hold for collectively 3 hours while most of the people told me that they couldn't even see my order. I rarely leave bad reviews but this order was already paid for, was of free quality and even afterwards I did not get a refund. I told them to throw the cards in the trash. read more
