Came to this location to do a Amazon drop off and not only are the lines ridiculously long but they SUPER SLOW. When I get to the front of the line they can't do the Amazon return because of something with their system. Then the supposed to be manager who is in the picture rudely tells me take it to ups. There is nothing she can do. I can sit and wait the 2-3 hours for her to contact customer service. Now I see why this location has 2 stars. I will NEVER recommend nor return to this location EVERRRRRR! read more

Always a long line with rude employees. it is easier to return amazon somewhere else. there is one line and it had about 15 angry people

Had to go to staples for some last minute certificate folders. I asked this one particular employee for assistance she cut me off and directed me to the aisle she assumed my needs were in, I returned to her to ask her to just show me since she was incorrect the first time, she told me no and directed to the other aisle. When I went to the aisle I wasn't able to find it again, I found another sales woman who was able to assisted me,while speaking to her she informed me the first person was the GM, Samaj. Her customer service and attitude is in the basement. I'm not sure how all the other employees were pleased to assist but the "GM" performance is trash. read more

***another bad experience yet again** - went today for copies and faxing. So apparently faxing something from north jersey to central jersey is long distance so I paid almost $5 to fax ONE page. Then I had resumes printed which I did the day before but today they charged me an "express fee." I tried to dispute it but they gave me the lamest excuse, due to my desperation to get out of there I just paid and left. definitely the last time shopping here - worst service ever! ALWAYS! *also heather, it won't allow me to "DM" you* (Ironically I made duke this last time I went) 3/14/18 Bad service. Unknowledgeable staff and bad selection, they're always out of what I need. I don't like coming here mostly because I've had bad encounters with the staff. Super rude. They have the copy center which Is really the best part of this location but usually goes really slow. After work I stopped by this branch to pick up some art paper. I paid and asked to use the ladies room. I then waited for the cashier to open the woman's bathroom. Once open he walked away. First there was a male worker in the bathroom. After going in he realized that a customer had entered and exited. There were two toilets and one toilet was filthy disgusting without flushing the second toilet was also not cleaned but better. While existing after feeling I noticed the sink clothed and an overflowed garbage can. OMG.... This was the woman's bathroom I cannot imagine any other bathroom in the store. They should keep this bathrooms cleaned specially during the holidays for customers and young children to go.... Maybe the main branch should look into this . Thank you. read more

This Staples is located right next to the Bloomfield DollarTree. My experience was so -so. You get what you expect with the chain brand. The store was spacious and clean ( no boxes or new shipments in the aisles). I only when there to print out a 7 page document and felt robbed! Hahahaha. To use the computer it's a $5 hold on your card. After it was said and done, I end up paying $6.47 for time used and my printed copies! It definitely wasnt worth it but I needed it done. read more

I went to this staples to print out pictures for a funeral. A very rude and obnoxious guy name Jeremiah said that my pics would be ready in a couple of hours, took my phone # and the codes for the 25 prints. He called me several hours later and stated that he only had 7 completed and didn't know what time the rest would be done...the rude boy added that he was doing me a favor!!!? I couldn't believe what I was hearing and the unprofessionalism displayed from this idiot!!! I hung up to immediately call another staples to see if I could get them in within an hour. Called the printing center here and was immediately helped by Barone. He told to just come on in and he'd be able to help me find the paper and print exactly what I needed. This store is ridiculously under staffed. Every time I come to this store it takes over 20-30 minutes to even get acknowledged at the online pick up desk. It's the same story when attempting to purchase stamps or needing prints. I have to frequently come to this store because it is the nearest to my office. However, it is always a dreadful experience. The only reason I am giving 2 stars it's because when I am helped some of the staff is actually pretty friendly and helpful. I must say, every time that I visit this Staples location, I generally have a poor experience. So, I had to make a copy of a certificate of mines, but needed to use a color copier. The copier that is labeled as "color copier," was currently being used by a customer who was making 100's of copies of different postage return receipts! Ugh So instead of waiting for her, I decided to get online to speak with the Staples employee. The Staples employee appeared to be reviewing some copies for a customer that is in front of her. That process was long. Now I recall, when I came before, that Staples copy employees would check-in with customers waiting online to direct them accordingly etc. But that did not happen with the most recent visit to Staples (9/23/16). Anywho, this plus sized employee comes into the copy section, with an obvious attitude, looking as though she did not want to be bothered. I had told her I needed to make a colored copy of a document. And her smart ass response was "All the printers make colored copies!" I am thinking to myself: WTF? Do I look like I work at Staples to keep up on the equipment that you have? Then she walks off and blurts out, "I want to get out of here!" And that is how she behaved when interacting with me. I am like: Hell, I did not ask you to work for Staples, if you miserable, do not take that out on me! I went to speak with a manager, and was told that the GM (general manager) was not in today. So I met with this petite male who said he was the assistant manager. So he made the copies for me and I told him what that Barney looking female did. Wishing they would get another copy/print store to this area. This location is the worst! read more

Was on hold for a total of 40 minutes trying to follow up on a printing order from over a week ago. Was passed around by 3 employees who seemed like they were going to be proactive, but they weren't. Finally spoke to an associate in the printing department and was told he was alone in the department and my order could be completed later in the afternoon. Though the type of paper I needed wasn't available until Tuesday, I shouldn't have been the one to follow up and it shouldn't have been so difficult to speak with an associate. I was patient enough to give an extra couple of days for an order that should be completed in a couple of hours. Though this location is most convenient for me, I'll be patronizing another location from now on. read more

You're lucky if you can ever find someone to assist you with, whether it is shopping for a product or assisting with the scanner, copiers, etc. as for the computers, last time I was there, two were out of service. This would have been the Staples trip from hell had Josh not come to the rescue. The night before my grandma's funeral a customer service representative, whom shall remain nameless- was extremely dismissive. The last thing you need is poor customer service and a rude disposition when you are in the throes of mourning. Fortunately, Josh came to assist us and made the expedited printing of my grandmother's obituary a possibility and he did so with a level of excellence and integrity. There are countless Staples across the county, the only thing that distinguishes them are the people that provide the services. I haven't been here in years but I will not be back for many more. Customer service is ok but. I was tramatized when going to the bathroom. I would have thought I was in a truck stop vs in a restroom within a complex of stores... First off the bathroom looked like someone tepied it and with two satles there wasn't even a place to hang not put the tissue other than the metal standing bar. And then walking out they have water fountains and that was another story.. there was garbage with mold on it in the sink of the fountain. Omg it looked abandoned. And I asked the guy at the register, response was I'm new, the person that closes the store is supposed to handle that. I said it looked like it's been there for. A year. This place is probably just fine for picking up supplies - but when I went to the 'print shop' section to ship a package, they were completely useless. All their equipment was broken. I couldn't even mail a package that had pre-paid postage on it. And the large envelopes I need to mail, well they were completely baffled by that. I went to Staples this morning and I waited behind a customer for like 5 minutes before the guy behind "IT Department" asked what I needed. I told him and he said to go to ailse 10 and wait for him to open the cabinet for me to get something to connect to desktop in order to get wifi. I walked there and 5 guys were in the back talking, not one asked if I needed help. I asked for help and this guy, Chris gave his key to another guy to help me and he knew nothing about USB, modem or wifi. After too many back and forth between and him Chris, I asked him why Chris couldnt come over and helped and he told Chris and he did... Chris had a nasty attitude, trying to be condescending. The staff at the copy center are totally useless. I had to wait until the representative finished talking with her friend about some party for 10 minutes, then was helped. I needed two booklets bound. She looked at me confused... Went over to the back to ask another girl if she could do it. I heard them both say they didn't know how to bind a package of paper.... I come to this location cause it is close and convenient since I live in area but I have had it. I'd rather drive out 30 min from my home and be inconvenience than to deal with the lack of customer service they offer in this location. This Staples is the worst! The business center is terribly understaffed. I waited in line for a good 15 minutes before an associate came over to help with the long line that had formed behind me. Once she got to me and found out that I was doing a UPS drop-off she sent me to the UPS counter and she continued to wait on other customers behind me in the line. She got an attitude when I questioned her about this. It does no good to write upper management as they will only send you a coupon. I know of someone who said they made a sizeable $$$ mistake, but because this Staples is so incompetent I didn't say anything because she knew they would mess up the adjustment as well. read more

So I paid an order online, and they didn't bother calling after a day and a half, so I went to the store in Bloomfield, the associate tells me they can't print the file because it has a black mark on it. So I ask what option do I have? The girl says go to a different location they'll be able to print for you and won't have to pay since you already paid for it. So I went to the other store and were able to fix the file within a minute. The associate from this store tells me that the file just had to be converted to a png in order to print properly. Then tells me that if I placed an order online from the other store they are the ones who have to cancel it by marking job abandon and will get my refund. So I call Bloomfield, they put me on hold for 20 minutes, then the girl with a nasty attitude tells me that there is nothing I can do about it, I can't cancel the paid order then hung up on me. The manager should fire all these useless employees from Bloomfield and have it inspected every WEEK. I don't know who hire these immature workers but they do not care for the customers at all. Someone should shut that location down. Clifton, East Rutherford gives 110% care for their job. Bloomfield staples printing Marketing gives 5%. read more
