Let me see.....my wife and I stopped in Feb 2018. It is now April 26, 2018. I went for eye test and spoke up about triple vision in my right eye at end of test. It will get better he said. Recieved my glasses had to be retested and new lens. Still not seeing well. Wife had mono contacts. Recieved contacts with sample and they were not mono. Sent back and after three weeks they were called, they forgot to order the new contacts. They told us they were on back order. Two weeks later she recieved contacts and still could not read with them. Saga continues!! read more

What ever you do do not get your eyes tested at their eye doctor because he will not get it right. When you get over to pick your glasses the ones that they advertised at $59.00 is nothing anyone would wear. Then they offer you the BOGO deal and it will cost you upwards of $200.00. They do not cut the lens right sometime to fit the frames and other thing are wrong with the glasses. I don't think they know how to mark where bifocals go and their lab does not cut them in right. Even tho they gave me a $50.00 dollar credit toward my next purchase I will never go back. Between the cost of the glasses and the cost of gas and time to go there I could have gotten them closer to home for about the some amount. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Call for pricing and it did not seem bad at all. Get there for my exam and there is no Dr. at all in the office, they use a refraction person via television monitor. When I went to order my lenses because I had my own frames they wanted to charge me double from what they told me on the phone. Then they told me 2 weeks, but they would probably call me in a week. No phone call at 2 weeks and they said I apologize no one called you. Never doing this again, hope I can actually see out of them when I go to pick up. read more

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I did get upset because I bought 2 pairs of glasses one with reflective coating and no one told me I needed a certain kind of cleaner to clean them. So when I got home I went to the store and just bought some lens cleaner and they would not come clean. They just kept getting worse. But I called them and they said I could come get a bottle of the cleaner for free. So, overall it was a good experience. read more

This place is a complete scam. Claim they give "free" eye exams, tell me why we just paid $89 for an exam and a trial pair of contacts. Spent an hour I the store trying to get this corrected to have the receptionist, Courtney, slam her phone, slam her papers around, and then break down crying because a customer was rude on the phone. read more

The $69 advertising is a big joke. They have about ten UGLY frames you can choose from. Then they have to order them takes two weeks to get glasses. After the sixties called NOT free eye exam it was going to cost $199 for two pairs of ugly glasses. I do need progressive lenses but I've gotten two pairs at the express place for less than $100., I took my $60 prescription and walked out. I should have known better. read more

The absolute worst service I have ever received before even getting into a room. My husband called early that morning to see if we could book a last minute appointment and they said that we couldn't book an appointment for today. He forgot to ask if we could do a walk in. I called literally not even one minute later and before I could ask if I could do a walk in the man asked me if I wanted to schedule an appointment for TODAY. Right after he told my husband that he wouldn't be able to schedule anything. We came in for our 9:45 appointment, sat and waited patiently. BEWARE...I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THEM & they do not deserve the one star I had to choose on this review! Called & scheduled an appointment. Told them exactly what I was needing & was given a price. Was told that they would be able to help me get an exam & glasses within a couple of days, which is what I needed, since I was leaving out of state & needed a new pair of glasses ASAP. Got to the appointment, after driving 40 miles to get there, was told a different price at check-in. I could have somewhat overlooked that, but then I was informed that the tech was out of town so my glasses wouldn't be ready until the following week! I was informed that it was a telemedicine visit, which was not said over the phone when I booked my appointment. When I asked about the accuracy of an eye exam done virtually....they said 7 out of 10 times it was accurate!!! Really?? When I asked who I spoke to when I called & booked the appointment & was given incorrect information, they explained that it was the call center which is located in Florida & that is why I was given false/lack of information. So apparently they do not communicate, yet allow them to answer questions on their behalf. read more

Do not go to Stanton optical. I had an appointment and upon arrival, learned that my eye exam would be conducted via TV with a technician in Florida. Then, a doctor would electronically review the results and determine my prescription and medical status of my eyes. I also learned the doctor actually may be in Ohio and may not be an ophthalmologist or optometrist. There was not anyone certified, licensed or qualified to conduct a visual exam on site. Also, in the associated store, the add-on prices for various options above glasses with basic plastic lens are considerably higher than prices at other facilities in the Tulsa area. Unfortunately, many people with limited incomes are paying more for glasses and not receiving a face to face, comprehensive eye examination at this facility. Avoid, avoid, avoid! read more

Wow, my new glasses are fantastic! They were ready in 15 minutes after I picked the frames out. I got the 2 pair deal with all the extras & paid what I would have for one pair normally! They truly are a great shop & I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonable deal to designer frames. I can't say enough about how helpful & happy they all were. I've worn glasses/contacts for 54 yrs. I feel like I got the best eye exam ever at Stanton Optical. I took my Grandson there a year & a half ago. They were great. We got his eye exam, a pair of glasses & a pair of sunglasses, with everything possible as far as the lenses go, for just over $300. I went in yesterday & got the same great service & I was amazed at how good I can see now. The girls on the exam side are awesome. Very kind, caring, patient & helpful. This is the first time in my life that the first pair of soft lenses that were given to me actually worked. Usually I have to go back a couple of times & switch out lenses. Not this time! Chad helped with glasses. He was the best. He took his time, explained everything to me as far as what I could have on my lenses, broke down all the prices, & was never pushy or try to sell me something I didn't need. It was all my decision. He even explained a payment plan, with no interest if I needed it as I don't have insurance. I've never found that anywhere. He was such a sweet guy! Every employee that I've ever worked with has been great. I loved my former eye doctor but his prices were extremely high and one girl in his office was always hateful. Nobody likes to go to any doctor for any reason but Stanton Optical makes it as painless as possible especially when it comes to the cost. I've put off going for way to long because of the cost but as long as Stanton is around, I won't have to do that anymore. read more

Most of the staff were very nice. I was disappointed that one of the staff members in the eye examination area had his mask below his nose. I stood back when talking to him in the reception area and was not too worried because I thought that surely the staff members doing the tests and giving the examination would be wearing their mask correctly. But it turned out that the staff member who was not wearing his mask correctly in the reception area took me back for the glaucoma and other tests. At one point while we were in a small closed room, he said I needed to lower my mask. I replied, "Then please put your mask over your nose." He quickly pulled it up and said "It is up. It just falls down when I talk." His mask was down all the time were were in reception and through the first two tests. He never pulled it on his nose after speaking until I said something. Very troubling. If a mask is pressed onto the nose with the little metal piece, it does not fall down when a person talks. I know it is bothersome to wear a mask all day. But people's lives are at risk. read more

I do not like to complain and will often just accept bad service as one of those things that just happens (you take the good with the bad), but I was so disappointed with my Stanton Optical experience I felt I needed to right a review to warn others. I went because I'd seen the window advertisement of 2 pairs of glasses for $69 and a free eye exam. I also saw on their website that you could get glasses in 15 minutes. Before I went, I purchased a Groupon that gave $150 off of the purchase of glasses. I went to the eye exam first and had to pay $59. Yes, the value of the eye exam can be applied to your glasses purchase, but to say that the eye exam is free is not exactly true. I have very poor eyesight and I need bifocals, so I knew I would have to pay extra for my lenses, but with the $150 Groupon plus the $59 from the eye exam I thought I could get my glasses without paying much more extra. They have a very limited selection of frames that qualified for the 2 pair for $69 promo. As I was looking at them I heard a sales rep tell another customer that if you got the 2 for $69 deal it would take about two weeks to get your glasses. What? But it says big as day on their website that you can get them in 15 minutes! Oh, you have to read the fine print - this is only valid on single vision BOGO glasses. They also had a BOGO deal going on the other frames so I decided to spend a little more money and get frames that were actually flattering. I picked out two pair of $110 frames and then got to talk to Zach to place my order. I told him I had the Groupon and he said, well let's price it out using the Groupon and the BOGO offer because sometimes you come out better with the BOGO. I told him I wasn't trying to spend a lot of money so I was good with just getting one pair of glasses and using the Groupon. He then tells me that I can't use the value of eye exam on my purchase if I use the Groupon. So no, the eye exam wasn't free! Because of my poor eyesight I need progressive poly-carbonate anti-reflective glasses. After he completes the pricing and applies the Groupon I still would have had to pay $301 for the glasses. The glasses were $451 total. Add in the eye exam and I would have spent $360. I told him there was no way I could afford that so he does some recalculations and says what about $189? Considering I had already spent $59 for the exam and $15 for the Groupon and felt extremely deceived by Stanton Optical, I took my prescription and got glasses elsewhere. I would absolutely not recommend this place. Not to mention the service on the eye exam side of the establishment was extremely lacking as well. read more

The absolute worst customers service ever. Monday I scheduled an appointment online for 6:00pm. I went in Monday at 6:00 pm and tried to check in. The kid working the front desk, who was obviously annoyed and rude stated " I don't see you scheduled for today, sometimes our online thingy doesn't talk to us" she then asked if I would like to reschedule for tomorrow at 6:00pm. I agreed to Tuesday at 6:00pm. Once again I went in at 6:00pm and was told that the girl who scheduled me the day before, set my appointment for the wrong day. How hard is scheduling? I know they probably make minimum wage and totally hate their jobs butttt you work in customer service. Act like it. When you're dealing with customers who have insurance, our insurance works mostly everywhere, so it basically comes down to customer service. So disappointed. Went in to purchase contacts for my son and was offered a $75 rebate if I purchased a year supply. Went to redeem the rebate and it was expired. Called the number on the receipt and got corporate. They promptly told me to take it up with the store. I tried to ask questions and was pretty much told to take it up with the store. They then gave me the number and hung up. I called the store and they said they had another rebate worth $150, I could contact Chadwick and he would take care of it when I came in for pick up. I asked for Chadwick and he gave me the rebate and went to check on something. I read the rebate and it was for $50 not at all what I was told. The manager came over and said that he had no control over when manufacturer rebate expires. I told him you don't have control over expirations but you do have control over your employees reading the rebates before they sell them to a customer. He didn't say anything. I was frustrated so I grabbed my son's contacts and was leaving when the manager asked if I wanted to lesser rebate and I told him I didn't want anything from him and left. Buyer beware of the bait and switch. Leave this place alone its bad news! read more

The "Sale" talked about in the TV ads and painted on their window is a lie or has such tiny fine print that no one will see it. That buy one pair at $69 and get a second free is actually ONLY the frames, which neither ad clearly states. You still have to pay for the lenses. By the time I was ready to pay, the price was actually $250. That's more than three times their advertised price and no, I do not have transition lenses. The lenses are not included in the sale. Period. I regret buying from them, but by that time I had been there over two hours and I was tired and wanted to be done. I have a feeling that's part of the scam too. Wear you down and be overly friendly so you'll pay three times what you were told and they get a commission. I wouldn't be surprised if they get a bonus for getting you to sign up for Care Credit. Which I had to do in order to afford my glasses. The only positive was the eye doctor next door. The staff were nice and the doctor has a lot of experience. Next time I'll have my exam there and then go across the street to Eyemart Express. read more

This is a ripoff organization. After two "eye exams", one by a office manager & the other by a computor screen (no Doctor), I still was unable to see. I had paid cash $358.00 and since I could see through the glaas they provided I asked for my money back. I was told the free eye exam money could not be returned because it was a Doctor fee. I saw no Doctor but that made no difference - no return. I was told the $300 would be sent to me from corporate and I would receive it in 3 to 5 business days. It is now 6 weeks later and no check. I have called corporate and been told twice my check is in the mail and once that it was sent to the wrong address. Still no money????? read more

My experience had a lot to be desired. I wanted a good pair of glasses that fit. What I got was an exam for $59.00 and two pair of bifocal lens glasses (not tinted or no line) for $346.14 and four trips to the store. A total of $405.14 and two pair of glasses that do not fit. Either loose or hurting. I'm sure I will end up going somewhere else for another pair of glasses. The crew is friendly enough, but apparently just can't deliver. read more

Unfortunately my experience has not been as favorable. While the staff was super friendly while I was purchasing several pairs of glasses, they seemed anxious to get me in and out when I picked my glasses up. My first pair of glasses I picked up did not have the correct prescription in them but I was told that maybe my eyes were tired and to give it overnight to make sure. That was not satisfactory with me so i took the glasses to Owasso for Dr. Loving to check the prescription and as I knew, the prescription was wrong. The technician at Stanton said she thought the prescription looked funny but sent the order in anyhow. I got glasses with all minuses instead of pluses. I felt before filling prescription if there was any doubt I should have been called to have my doctor verify. I finally received my pair of sunglasses and they were great. Two days later I was told by voice mail that I had two more pair of glasses in. Went to Tulsa to pick up and to my surprise I had two exact pairs of framed glasses!!! They were unable to locate the other frame I had ordered so I had to select new frames. I now have to go back for a 4th time when these glasses come in and hopefully they are in before my vacation!!! The techs are really nice but I feel like they must be on a time schedule because I felt rushed each time I went in. While I am happy so far with the corrected glasses, I'm not sure I would go there again nor would I recommend to others. read more

First off, I would give Stanton Optical a 3 rating. I feel like my eye exam was too generic. I did not like having my exam done via computer screen. I think it shows a lack of concern for true eye "care". Secondly, after my exam I went next door to fill my prescription. The 2 for 59.00 frames were limited and not very stylish so I opted for a few different, more expensive frames. When me and my fiancé walked out, we ended up spending almost 1,000 dollars for 4 pair of glasses, two of which were supposed to be free. This is definitely not a cheap place for eye care. We ended up returning 4 times before they got our glasses right. There is a girl that works there named Misti. She was the only reason we stayed with Stanton and did not just leave and go elsewhere. She went above and beyond to help us each and every time we went back. She is amazing at customer service and really does deserve a raise or to be a manager. Cannot say enough great things about her. I would not personally recommend this place to my friends because it cost us both our arms and legs but if you do have to go there, ask for Misti. She will give you great service. read more

What a joke! Bait and switch. I plan on reporting them to Sooner Care as they charged me 49 for my grandsons glasses, the frames were only 19! But they claim free eye exam and two pairs for 69! Yet I ended up paying 49! Plus they won't be ready for 2 weeks. What a dump. When it came time to filling my prescription I cut my losses and told them I'd get my prescription filled at Dr. Zoellner. Then the salesman wanted argue they had better prices. Uh no. And I think they are scamming the government medical card my grandson has!!! I will call them about the bait and switch. There was another lady in there arguing with a salesman about the cost of glasses. Again what a dump. Plus when I checked out they thought I had already paid so someone else was checked out as me. Stay away! I give it a negative 5. And feel they committed Medicaid fraud against the Sooner Care Card. They said they had different specials for them! I worked as a social worked for years for Child Welfare and never had to a penny on glasses with a Sooner Care card for clients! read more
