this is a local bar with live DJ and a cigar smoking lounge in the rear with a small humidor. The cigar lounge area had seating wide leather seats, but we're very worn in by very large rear ends so that a person my size just slid down into the indention that was made by someone else's butt. The cigar price and reasonable we had a couple of drinks didn't stay long. The young lady manning the humidor was pleasant and the young lady that brought us drinks was also very nice. Not my favorite cigar spot in the Atlanta Metro area, but it will do in a pinch. read more

Went here for my birthday and Ordered a lemon sky drop and on the menu it states it's made with Ciroc passion, as I'm watching the bartender she puts Tito's in it.. I tried to catch her but the music was so loud.. so when she brings it, I asked her if it was made with Ciroc, and she said no I used Tito's, I informed her I am allergic to Tito's.. and it causes me to have headaches.. she had an attitude and I was like I can have any other vodka besides Tito's so she, with an attitude says we only have Ketel One.. I said ok. So she was mad! And brought me another drink and obviously didn't put any alcohol in it..will never be back! Poor customer service! All she had to do was.. when I ordered that drink, just say we don't have Ciroc, is Titos ok.. then we could have had that conversation but instead she sneaky and shit!!! I visited Atlanta last weekend, and my friend suggested that we try Stanley cigar bar. The parking lot was packed but the inside was spacious. There were several seating areas as well as a full bar and there were monitors playing the game. we sat at the bar and immediately the hostess came up to us and told us that the bartender would be with us shortly the bartender name was Coco. She was super attentive and she took care of us during our visit. Allie decided to just have a drink. I didn't enjoy a cigar, but I saw the humidor across from the bar. The guest in the bar all seem to be very nice and professional. The gentleman made you feel welcome and conversed without making you feel like they were trying to come on to you. I had quite a nice time but we were only stopping by after leaving a party, so the visit was brief. read more

Stanley's is definitely a nice, mature, sophisticated venue. They also have an outside patio. The set up is nice with comfy couch like single chairs with flat screens all round. The have a nice size humdior with various types of cigars. They also had a live DJ on the day we went which was on a Thursday. The bar area is huge it takes up the back of the venue. The person in the Humidor was not knowledgeable & did not offer much help with selecting cigars. A few things that I noticed are the flat screens are crooked, they do not have Cocktail specials and on this day they was not serving food. When I asked the server about a food she simply replied nonchalantly we dont have food tonight but I can give you chips & salsa. I was like HUH NO DAMN FOOD. Its shocking because this is a venue you come to smoke cigars & drink and you dont provide food is really UNACCEPTABLE. If I return I will make sure to eat before I arrive because we had actually left one venue because we knew they normally served food. Just be prepared to possibly not being able to eat, I'd advise to eat before you arrive. In addition, we purchased 4 cigars & 5 drinks which was over $200. Stanley's located in a shopping strip off of Camp Creek Parkway & Butner Rd. Parking: Free in parking lot Cover charge : didnt pay on this night not sure if they ever charge. Lack of professional courtesy. I will never go there again. I paid $18.50 for a Perdomo cigar after a few puffs the cigar started to crack and tobacco leaf began to unwrap. I informed the owner concerning the matter and her reply was that I had smoked half of the stick. I left it alone in amazement of her response. I heard there was a cigar bar on the south side and stepped out to try it. Pros: It wasn't crowded so we were seated immediately, the music was nice (no rap), it's spacious. The wings with the whiskey glaze were AMAZING!!! Cons: I had to go to where my waitress was seated multiple times to get service, it's pricey and the decor is confusing. I have to assume the owner is a woman or she's the face of this establishment because every picture (wall sized) screams I am woman hear me roar and it's overkill. The art deco wall art and a textured wall looks thrown up as an attempt to tie it all in. And WHO approved the throne with the faux grass wall behind it? Because that matches nothing. Visually the inside is a mash up. When most cigar bars offer wood paneling and leather you won't get that here. No Bud Light??? What bar in America doesn't have Bud Light??? But OK I feel $124 on drinks, 10 wings and fries was pricey. What was hilarious is the tip was automatically added in even though the service was subpar! You also have to compete with St. James Live for parking so be mindful of that. Chances of me going back are slim but I can say I tried it. read more

My husband and I were excited ti try a new cigar spot. We arrive at 8:15 on a Friday to enjoy the DJ, food and libations. Before we even set foot in the door I was taken back by the $25 valet charge for parking. Mind you this is a standard strip mall with a variety of businesses. I came here to check out the live band. The band was the Rec Band. I would suggest making a reservation. The bar was full but I was able to get a table. The table was near the door that they had opened but they eventually closed it after I mentioned being cold. The band was so good. This was my first time hearing them. I went to the grand opening, Friday 10SEPT21 and it was amazing!!! Black Female owned restaurant / lounge!!! Best cigars in Atlanta! The southwest side needed a place like this; the owner Monica Coleman named the lounge after her grandfather, hence STANLEY. Exclusive!!!! Do yourself a favor. Ask for the Mescal Mami. The owner introduced me to this drink and my lord I will be back each and every trip to Atl. On top of the abundance and great music the service is excellent and some of the best cigars and finely crafted drinks there is to find. I'm sure this place didn't need my help but frankly you can't help but to rave about this place. Cigars, booze and great music, give me more. The waitress are gorgeous and the food is just what you need. The drunken wings,vegetable spring rolls, sweet potato fries and regular fries are all outstanding. Meat falls off the bone. get them and you won't be disappointed. The fish is amazing and frankly you can't get the 1 without the other. Other drinks that I have had the margarita (818 tequila) and it will also have you good and ready. This is overall a great place to hang out smoke and chill and have a few drinks with your friends. This is a new owner and new cigar lounge to replace the one that was there before. Ms Monica has an organized and developed a nice space to enjoy a great cigar with friends. The drinks are good and decently priced. The humidor has a nice selection. This was the first weekend and the humidor was not full. But it is clear she is expanding with intention as she meets her customer base. There are nice lounge chairs, high top tables, and a nice patio. Please come. This place is a very nice set up, but far too smokey. Even after asking the owner to turn fans on and having them turn off after I said it was very smokey, I was disappointed. While fans were on smoke moved through the place well and cleared. I couldn't enjoy my cigar and found myself going outside often in the cold weather just to have a fresh breath of air. Service was decent and the prices for a drink were okay. Not sure if I will return. I love trying new spots when I'm in town and I can't recommend it even though a regular cigar smoker. The last time I visited this place, it was under the old ownership and was named Cigaros. Decided to visit again tonight since my regular spot, (Acere) was standing room only. Walk into the establishment and it was approximaetly 20 people there. Every time I visited under old ownership, it was a packed house. Tonight, not so much. I sat down ordered a beer, tequila, and wings (all drums). Food was decent, I've had better, and drinks were good. Fast forward, I ask the waiteress for my check and the bill is $65! I look at the receipt, they charge $1.65 per wing (x10) for all drums. Now I am accustomed to paying a little more for all sections but $1.65 is crazy! Not to mention it is not noted on the menu anywhere. The 10pc wings is $17.50+tax on top of an additional $16.50 just to swap 5 wings for 5 drums! I basically bought a 20pc wing just to have swap 5 small wings! This is the very reason I am hesitant yo support "our establishments" because they are a complete ripoff. Needless to say, I will NEVER spend money with this establishment again. SAD!!! read more

I'm an cigar smoker and the vibe there is super weird. Plus the waitresses approach you with a hand held device a hound you to finish your meal so that they can get another person your seat. New name and new owner, but it remains a cigar lounge. I was able to finally enjoy a cigar inside since the new owner of Stanley's opened up. When the new owner Monica first opened, I enjoyed a cigar and drink out on the patio. Sunday I came in to smoke a stick and watch the Chicago Bears game. It was enjoyable to see some of the old regulars who frequented when it was cigaros. I like the changes the owner made. She seems to have made the spot her own by painting, adding pictures etc. I'm hoping that a happy hour will be added to the weekday schedule, to include drink and food specials. This would be an improvement from previous ownership. The filtration of smoke seems to be working better than it did under the previous owner. The waitresses seemed friendly and responsive. I'm interested to see if the members benefits will be improved. Members buying a bottle at the owners cost was an attractive Perk for me under the previous owners offerings. Preferred parking for members should also be considered since parking is at a premium. I noticed there was a monitor at the door which may be more useful if the person sat outside at the door which could deter the opportunistic car break ins that have plagued this corner. Overall I'm giving a top rating for Stanley's Cigar Lounge and I am rooting for a long successful partnership between the owner and her customers. Despite the positive reviews my friends and I had a very negative experience. I'm only giving 2 stars because the gentlemen in the humidor was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. For starters, place was about 1/2 full but most of the empty seats were "reserved" so my friends and I had to stand most of the time until we were able to pull 3 stools to the bar. While at the bar, the service was poor at best. Of our 3 drinks 2 were wrong and when we would finally get the waitresses attention it would take 20-30 mins for her to come back with our orders. She often forgot the drink or torch and would have to run back and get it. When I walked to the bar myself they refused to sell me a drink and would just tell the waitress that her customers want something. Ordered the pizza and wings combo....pizza was meh at best wings were really good but they were cold. I was very disappointed. Despite this place being 3-5 mins from my house depending on traffic, I'd rather drive to Lithia Springs for a proper cigar experience. read more
