I love the place but I don't love getting ripped off. Ordered a glass of wine - the charge came up $8 wine and $20 service fee, plus a tip on top. Same thing happened with my friend - he got hit with a "sitting fee" without any warning. I don't need a headache figuring this all out. I come here to relax. It's usually a great experience, however last week the waitress (African-American female) we had was not friendly and had a horrible attitude. It took her forever to come over and take our orders. We went Thursday and Friday, Thursday was super chill and Friday was even better. They had a band playing and then Jace the manager is even roaming around talking to everyone making sure you're having the experience you're expecting and being taken care of to your expectation. Had an amazing and quality experience at Cutters. I was brought here to enjoy a nice smoke and whisky after a round of golf and thats exactly how it went down. I tried a new cigar while I was there, called the Papa Frita by Drew Estate. I was pleasantly surprised by this small, full-bodied smoke. It definitely delivered in spades. I was satisfied to see that they carried one of my favorite Scotches, Bowmore 15, and had a couple of glasses of that on the rocks. This paired perfectly with my smoke. Overall, this establishment is A1 and I would have loved to become a member was I from the area. I was just visiting shortly but was thoroughly impressed by the staff and the selection. Glad to know that in Alpharetta, there's a semblance of health and style but even in this fantastic area, things can be a bit disappointing. So I've been an avid cigar enthusiast for some time now. I know what I like, and I know what I want and I know what suits me best in terms of cigar flavors but haven't crossed the aficionado status yet. I needed Boveda packs as I'm about to go on a road trip and want to pack some of my favorites I've been saving specifically for this trip and luckily I was in the Alpharetta area and fired up the 'ole Yelp and did a search for Cigars near me and found Cutters. Since they call themselves Cutters Cigar AND Spirits, I figured I'd enjoy a stick and a drink and by the time I got there, they had a live band setting up to play for the night... considering it was a Friday night. The place is definitely a fantastic ambiance. Between an outdoor patio and the interior all set up in a way that was just prime for lounging and enjoying a stick of your premium hand rolled cigar of choice from some of the more basic brands out there. They have a full bar with almost every drink possible in terms of whiskeys, bourbons, rums, and a slew of others from beer and soda drinks. The service is impeccable as well! You can even buy your sticks in the humidor, leave the tab open and grab a drink as you smoke your cigar which is a cool concept for a cigar lounge!!!! I dug that!!! But I will say there are a few qualms I have about the place. 1. The Cigar selection: of all the cigars I asked for considering their humidor is pretty large in terms of size, the selection is somewhat questionable. Yes, they have all of your well known brands such as your AJ Fernandez, Padrons, Perdomos, Davidoffs, LFD, My Father, and Undercrowns among others, they did not have my favorite Liga 9 nor do they carry Foundation Cigars. I found the selection to be very basic. They carried some off the lesser known brands like GTO and La Aurora which was inviting but in terms of cigars that I truly appreciated which is the Foundation line as well as the Liga 9 and Liga T52, they did not carry them which I found to be a massive disappointment. 2. It would've been nice to have a bartender also be knowledgeable to know what drinks to pair a cigar with. I had a creamy Undercrown Shade and he recommended an espresso martini and well, not quite the spirit I had in mind with a mild creamy toasted almond cigar that the Undercrown Shade provides in terms of flavor profile. It's a light cigar and an espresso martini would've overshadowed it the cigar flavor rather than accentuate and compliment it. It would've been much easier if I had gotten a straight bourbon or whiskey or even a solid Dr. Pepper (I made the mistake of ordering an Irish mule, not a good idea with the Undercrown Shade either!) All that to say... if you don't care about Foundation Cigars or Ligas... and you enjoy a great atmosphere come to this place as they have every other cigar line but those mentioned. The drinks are extensive, the atmosphere is killer, the staff is great, and it's all in Alpharetta! read more

First time here and couldn't have chosen a better day to come and enjoy the patio. It's a chill space. I got a little fooled with the photography of the humidor which I thought was massive, however it's a modest size with a powerful selection from My Father, to Liga no 9, perdomo to Rocky Patel..AVO Oliva.. Davidoff.. you're going to find something! Full bar.. staff on a Sunday seems chill and light so may be a soft wait, but the vibe is great so that's not a problem. If ladies are concerned with clothing smelling like smoke, it's not going to happen-nice ventilation. read more

Stopped in town tonight for a hotel on our way home to Kansas City. Stumbled upon this beautiful place by chance. I was in a little pinch on time. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating knowing my situation. I picked up a few sticks and a drink on the fly. The prices were very reasonable for alcohol and tobacco. A great bourbon selection along with a fantastic walk in humidor. The only compliant I have is for my own time constraint. The ambiance was beautiful, layout was perfect for a comfortable evening with friends and or loved ones. I just wish I could have stayed longer. Next time I pass through. I will carve out time in my schedule to stay for a while. read more

Great place to pick up some cigars or enjoy them on the premise. This cigar store is a "My Father" lounge and it carries a lot of cigars from the famous cigar maker, Don Pepin. If you are looking for a hard to find cigar made by Don Pepin, you will likely find it here. On this occasion, I smoked a La Duena by Don Pepin. Other premo puros include Fuente, Padron, Davidoff, Graycliff and Tatuaje. The lounge has about 6 seats inside and more patio seating outside. Its cozy and comfortable. Ventilation is great and plenty of mags, tv and conversation to go around. Sometime in the near future, they'll get a liquor license and I look forward to enjoying my smoke with a cold beer. read more

UPDATE to my original review.... Cutters gets better and better with the passing of time. They have recently done a bit of renovating. There is now more tables with very comfy high-top chairs. The liquor selection is amazing and ever-changing. My wife and I were in there on 2/12/21 to hear the Friday evening LIVE music. The place was hoppin! Great music... Great people, great conversation... Great service provided by April, Susan, and Tanya... Great liquor and wine selection... Constantly updated cigar selection... The owners also always work the crowd to make sure everyone is having a good time and is well cared for. If you like GREAT cigars, deliciously mixed drinks, a comfortable, friendly, welcoming atmosphere, you need to take some time and check this place out. Without a doubt the new Cutters has the best selection of cigars in Metro Atlanta! The bar is well stocked with your favorite wines and spirits. The staff is super courteous and if the owner, Russ Sutton, is in the lounge when you stop in make sure you spend a few moments to talk with him, he's a great guy and his sole mission is to make your experience at Cutters absolutely special! I was pleasantly surprised to find this shop had opened a couple of weeks ago - they are located right next to my favorite European barber shop. How's that for convenience? Upon walking in the door I instantly knew that I would have to bring my colleagues here to unwind on Friday after work. We all appreciate a fine cigar and libation, and we've often talked about how there just didn't seem to be any good cigar lounges in the area. Happily, Cutter's Cigar Emporium changed that. In talking with the friendly staff, I discovered a few different brands in the well-appointed humidor that I'd never seen in the North ATL area before. This includes the Alec Bradley Prensado, which I am told is the highest rated cigar you can buy outside of Cuba. The staff also made a point of telling me that they are one of only a handful of "My Father" lounges in Georgia, which means they are permitted to stock special My Father cigars that other shops cannot. So we've established that the humidor is well stocked with good cigars, well maintained, and all of the sticks seemed competitively priced. What else does this place have going for it? The atmosphere! It's like a little slice of Havana right here in Alpharetta. Gorgeous wooden rocking chairs and cooling fans adorn the front patio area, and there are the requisite overstuffed leather chairs inside the shop. Very comfortable and relaxing. My colleagues agreed that I had not steered them wrong - this place is a true gem, and the perfect spot to relax at the end of a long work week. I'll be returning often. read more

You might even feel you look good, sitting in a leather chair inside, or outside on a cool rocking chair. Prices are fair, a bit higher on a few sticks. Selection is good. Excellent staff, focused on providing a great customer experience. Was my first time here. This is a really nice place. After walking in you start out in the huge humidor to select the cigar you would like. The folks at the front will help you if you're not sure what kind of cigar you want because the selection is huge. After selecting your cigar and paying for it then you're free to wander around the place, take a seat in one of the comfortable chairs, and order a drink. You can only order a drink after you've purchased a cigar (Alpharetta legal stuff).The ventilation inside of Cutters is great so it never seems too smokey inside. I highly recommend. read more

An upscale and happening cigar bar in burbs.. I have been to this place twice and it is a cool place to smoke a cigar and have a drink. The place a got gigantic humidor with tons of different brands of cigars. There price ranging from about $8-100s. The place has all different kinds of seating. You can sit at the bar or you can sit on leather chairs and couches. There also is a side room if you want to keep away from too much crowd. Of course they also have outdoor seating if you like to smoke outside. Drink prices are similar to any nice upscale bar. All in all it's a good place to smoke a stogie and talk to fellow brethren who also indulge in this bad habit :-) read more

Nice relaxing place to come and hang out. My cousin took me here when I was in town and we just chilled out while watching the game. They have a nice selection of liquors to go along with their cigars. I am a brown person so I was able to try the small batch 4 roses and it was smooth. I learned about different types of cuts in the cigar while being here too. I never knew anything about the different cuts but they were helpful in explaining it to me. I usually have the basic oval cutter so now I can get fancy when I go back home and talk about the different cutters I have lol. read more

I'm glad Cutters remains serving the local clientele driving Covid. Even with having to maintain social protocols during the pandemic, they still manage to provide a fun, entertaining atmosphere. The bar tending staff is supreme, and the service is impeccable. The drinks are superb, and service always friendly. One of the best humidors in the north Atlanta metro area. The staff goes out of their way to continuously clean and sanitize, and always serve with a smile providing a friendly welcoming environment. This is a very good place to watch tv, watch the band which was amazing and I would go there for that alone- Canelita?. The drink selection is great but I wish they would have had more sweet drinks and wines. It is real easy to purchase cigars and they have the best selection that I have seen. Finally had a chance to stop by Cutter's after hearing all the commercials on the radio. This was by far one of the best Cigar's shops I have been to because of the atmosphere. Now if they had a bar they would get a full 5 stars. The regulars make you feel welcome and there was plenty of good conversation going around.
