My sub pump system would not function, causing my basement to flood with several inches of water . I called local service companies and they were all swamped with calls and service requests! I contacted North Star Restoration and they sent her a representative the very next day. Josh N schedule service and remove the water from the basement. I learned about environmental contamination, mold, and mildew, formation,, and restoration of my basement. They help me through the entire process ! The office manager Karissa was extremely helpful. I would recommend them for any water problems. Gerald RM

My basement has sat here for a year and still unfinished. I do not recommend them at all. Told me they'd be in charge of everything, help picking out things, ordering things etc. Well that didn't happen really. Went to Florida for several weeks. They told me it would be fine. I came home and the things they had done were wrong. I have to say, they admitted their mistakes and paid for them. And Maybe I should wait till they finally finish this project before I review but want to warn people.

We called Excel after reading the reviews online and we were relieved that the owner was able to get one of his plumbers out to us the same day, as the leak was actively dripping. Stanton was our plumber, he was professional and got right to work. He was able to locate our leak and fix it well! No problems since (in that location)! We had another spot in our basement that we noticed discoloring in the drywall. Our drywall repairman looked at it while here fixing the first drywall area and saw a recent patch where mold was actively growing worse underneath it. We decided to keep an eye on it but, we had to bite the bullet again. We knew who to call. Scott the owner answered and said he'd get someone out asap. Stanton just left. Fixed the problem again super quick. I am very impressed with Excel and they will be our go-to any time we have an issue. They know what they are doing and priced fair for sure.

I called again when the furnace went out again when it was cold out and I had no heat, and I talked to the owners wife and she hung up on me!! What kind of person does that? I wanted excel because they worked on it before and probably knew more about it!
