I don't ever write reviews but this is genuinely the worst customer service experience we have ever had. We paid Stanley Steemer $2,000 to clean our entire house of hardwoods and tile bathrooms. They were in and out in about an hour and not only were the bathrooms not even touched, but they gauged our brand new hardwood floor. When I called their office and very calmly explained the situation the manager that I spoke to was so incredibly rude to me I could not even believe it. He mocked me, scoffed at me, and laughed while denying that they damaged our floors. I could barely respond to him I was so uncomfortable. He then blocked my number as well as my fiancés number who tried to call him several times. We finally got in touch with corporate who said that they would have them come back out and redo the entire service free of charge. When they showed up to our house to redo the service they REFUSED to do it for free and said that they would have to charge us. Again, the manager denied gauging our floors and claimed that he would have to charge us for the service because we didn't call in the "10 day grace period". We called so many times and never got an answer because our numbers were blocked! We finally just told them to leave because it was clear they weren't going to make things right. The total lack of competency, professionalism, and just general laziness of the Dothan branch is unacceptable. Needless to say I do not recommend Stanley Steemer of Dothan. We paid Stanley Steemer nearly $200.00 to clean three rooms for us. The technician was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I did ask him to go back over one small area. Guess I should have asked him to redo all of the rooms since the soiled areas have resurfaced in no time at all. I'm pretty easy going so although I knew he didn't spend a lot of time cleaning, I didn't want to say anything. I called the local office in Dothan and the manager said we had gone passed their grace period for them to reclean it. We've used Stanley Steemer for several years. Normally we get the carpet cleaned about twice a year and have used them almost every single time. We don't want something for nothing and we keep a clean house so the carpet wasn't that bad. We had them come in to clean our tile when we first moved in our new house. We had many people and contractors in and out. Our tile was perfect, so it was the only floor that didn't need changing. They came out and the tech put a hole in the wall and chipped numerous tiles. He reminded me of the old cartoons where they are on a railroad car and have to pump up and down, that's how he chipped the tile. I called to tell them, and the manager said that the tech had been doing this for 20 plus years and no one ever complained. The tech said he didn't remember doing it, so it didn't happen. I spent 6000.00 getting all my walls sheet rocked and painted. There was no hole in the wall until he can. He had a scrub brush that he left leaning against the wall. We had a very special need for our handmade silk carpet that had coffee stains and other spots that needed professional attention. Stanley Steemer Dothan reviews only had 3 stars which concerned me but having used Stanley Steemer previously with excellent results, we took a chance. We were very impressed with their professional experience, flexibility to meet our limited schedule and meet our demanding expectations. They surpassed our expectations and our carpet was returned to its original brilliance not to mention they removed spots from several seat cushions and other unexpected services. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone needing professional carpet cleaning. read more

The manager was very receptive to my concerns and offered a full refund as well as a redo. I did not want a refund if they did a good job. They came back this afternoon and fixed the areas that were unacceptable and it looks nice so upgrading the stars. They can't fix some of the problems I was left with on Saturday so not willing to give 5 stars. I am quite pleased that the manager took me seriously.
