We are moving in and asked for deep cleaning. The lady /owner of Sq Cleaning just ruined my day at cleaning (6/6/2026), and continues to make me feel bad when I walk in my own house. 1. Super short-tempered and irritable. 2. Not respecting me / rude: a) my husband contacted the cleaning service, but only i could meet them when her team was doing the service. She did not want to communicate with me. She either not listening to you but herself nonstop talking, or just walked away. She walked away several times when I was talking to her. She even slammed my door. b) my husband left the key to her and her team came before I was home. I immediately walked into the house to meet them. She looked at my shoes and criticized seriously "your husband said no shoes to the floors (actually he texted no shoes to the rooms that have carpets as we just had carpet cleaned the other day), but you wear shoes (on the wooden floor before they had cleaned it). You are liars!" She said that again and again. I said only no shoes to the wooden floor after you have cleaned it. And then what? I witnessed her walked out of my house with her shoes on after she had claimed finished cleaning when I came back! c) she asked us to leave the house for cleaning in a yelling voice. 3. Not professional:a) I spotted several places not being cleaned or well cleaned and pointed them out to her in person, and I found more after they left. 2) they wiped areas with detergent but not wiped out the detergent especially the kitchen and the fridge - I had to re-clean everywhere myself after they left. 3) they are not able to remove stains or glues. When I pointed out what had not been cleaned, she argued that it was due to glue or others and just used her finger nails to remove. Many stains are still visible especially showering glasses in the bathroom. All these just show that they don't have professional tools and don't clean in a professional way. 4. She threatens. With such her attitudes, I said: if you are not happy to work here, you can leave. She immediately got fury and threatened to call a police. I'm saying threatening because no way wants a police to visit your house the first day you move in. I had to say "calm down and behave as an adult " several times for any possible communication. Anyway, she decided to continue on her own later. 5. I can tell she did not understand English very well and just tried to understand in her own way. A) we premoved a few boxed into the kitchen, I tried to remind them to move those boxes to a cleaned place and do cover these areas for cleaning (just because the fresh experience in a hotel), her understanding was I asked them to finish quickly in a unreasonable speed as she answered "we need hours to clean the house, you cannot move in now.". I was trying to communicate with her, in return, besides not respecting me, she felt I was disturbing her work (just because she couldn't understand well and refused to communicate). She apologized at the very end for the beginning saying it's due to language barrier (when I gave her team oranges and water). 6. She criticized personal looks. She looked at my daughter (wearing a beautiful dress) and said: is she a girl? I'm asking so because girls should have ear piercings and earrings. I would never let them walk in my house any more and I would NOT recommend this company to any of you. read more
