I remember driving over in 2016 and having them check out my Honda Civic for a change in tire pressure and the light constantly being on on the dashboard. They were able to help me out and was so grateful. Requested a quote on Yelp a couple of weeks ago for some auto body repair (front bumper to be exact) and never heard back. Good businesses need to be supported and bad ones outed. Just my motto as a retired businessman. My daily driver is a 20-year-old 'S' class Mercedes Benz and I have no issue about keeping it because of the Blaes family are here in Broomfield. They have a courtesy shuttle in place and Stang automotive are not afraid of German-built cars to include Porsche. My most recent service with Stang under the leadership of Robert and Son was transmission related. My out the door charges, parts, and labor was under $200. I can't drive by a Mercedes dealership at highway speed without my credit card getting dinged for more than that. The whole gang is great, professional, focused and the instilled integrity with old school attention to business and customer service is peerless. Stang Auto Tech, I wish I could give them 6 out of 5, 11 out of 10, etc.  I've been going to them for years, multiple vehicles, and some HEAVY DUTY work too.  Did you know you have to remove the entire cab of some F-350's to get to some areas of the engine?!?  I own and have owned gas and diesel vehicles.  They deal with everything.  What's more, you can trust that they hold themselves to a higher standard as they warranty their work!  That is a rarity these days with auto service providers.  Read that again: warranty for work on used vehicles!  I've never had a new "under warranty" vehicle that they've worked on.  Always used.  I've only ever had one warranty item with them and it wasn't technically even their fault - a caliper rebuild kit they installed had an issue - but they covered it.  It's so amazing to not only have a warranty for used vehicle service, but I'm so jaded in this modern age, that one expects to still pay something even for warranty items.  It's shocking to pick up your vehicle, have your keys handed to you, "it's covered", no paperwork, just drive away...and they washed my truck as just an extra courtesy!  To me those little things are priceless.  When getting service they explain all potential charges up front, call you when they've figured out "whatever", give you your options and explain everything in minute detail when you pick up your vehicle.  They also have a deal with the local Enterprise car rental for a super-reasonable rate, so if you don't have another vehicle to drive when you're vehicle is in the shop, this is a great option and I use it every time.  The staff are all super personable, nice people as well.  It's always like greeting friends when I show up.  They send out coupons regularly, hold a yearly BBQ for their customers, all sorts of little things for their customers.  I swear they're not paying me to write such a glowing review, they are really that amazing.  In my professional life, I am a major customer advocate and it's such a relief to find service providers in my personal life who see things in the same way.  I truly cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

The most overpriced auto repair shop in the entire metro Denver area. My most recent experience is that I took my Jeep Wrangler in because the Engine Light was on solid. They had a special going that was for "free" inspection to get a determination of why the light was on. Well, they told me that the cause was a bad thermostat and the overflow tank both need to be replaced as it was cracked. They wanted over $500 to fix this. I told them not to do the work because that was ridiculous. When I went to pick the car up they charged me $158.99 for diagnostic testing & analysis. What a scam on "free inspection", regardless as I later found out that there was a line at the bottom of the ad talking about "there may be additional charges." I will be able to do this job myself (with a friends help) for about $35 in parts and an hour of labor) and I don't even know much about cars. If that isn't enough. I drove the car home and found lots of liquid dripping from the car. I opened the hood to find the radiator cap sitting on the engine. ( I am lucky it didn't drop off the car, but it was kinda on the area where the hood comes down. Not only was the radiator cap off, but the windshield wiper cap was off, along with the overflow tank from the radiator. I went back to the shop to let them know about this, and they did not apologize (they did actually call me LATER to apologize about this incident with the radiator cap). They call themselves a Christian auto repair shop, but nothing would indicate that to me. Unfair exorbitant pricing and unprofessional work. Ethically, I don't see how they can get away with charging this amount for their work. The reason they say they can charge this amount is that say that their level of work is excellent. I have never felt that on any of my previous jobs they did on my cars, that the work was any better than any other auto shop. Just the day before they charged $800.00 change out an alternator on a Dodge Caliber that my son owns. They justified this by saying they had to do something with the air conditioning unit. I had a friend, who told me that this job did not require it to be removed but just "moved" a bit to get to the alternator. I will let other people know not to use this auto repair shop. I am done with them for good. read more

The customer service at Stang is excellent. I've only taken my car there about three times so far, but I don't see how they could do a better job. They take care in explaining anything that needs (or doesn't need) to be done, like some other shops I've been to. What has really set them apart is the two times I've called them when I was far from home to ask them for advice on my car that was acting up. They were really friendly and helpful, even though they clearly weren't going to be making any money off of me that day. The owners have been there every time I've been in and they really care about their customers. Robert even gave my young children each a box of car-themed animal crackers the last time we were in. I am giving a high rating even though I did not have any work done. The folks at Stang were great about letting me know what was needed. My truck is very high mileage. I have to pick and choose what I spend money on. The mechanic, Johnny I think, was great about showing me the problems and making suggestions if I chose to do the work myself, which is what I usually do. I went to Stang because their rating is so high and while the cost of the work I had them look at was more than I was willing to spend on my old truck they still treated me like a valued customer and shuttled me from Broomfield to Lafayette and back. read more

I been in the Autobody business as a certified painter for over 30 years, I've dealt with in house mechanics all this time replacing frames, suspension parts , engine parts on hard hits . I'm very versed on how things work, not a expert on mechanical stuff , I haven't paid a outside shop to do any repairs on any thing I've owned in a long time , I am retired from the body shop now as I was tired of being in a paint booth all day and fighting with insurance company's to get paid what I was owed. At first - I had nothing but praise for this company. After today's experience however - I can no longer recommend that people take their business here. They are growing too fast for their own good. They've hired and poorly trained their front of the house staff. After calling in multiple times - thought I finally had my appointment on the books and the car would be ready when I needed it. I informed the service advisor of the time I needed my vehicle and he went as far as to schedule it an hour prior to the time I stated. At every call - I reiterated that I needed breaks and they should just count on doing them and did so at check in as well. I call about 45 minutes before I'm supposed to pick up my car and given the run around as to a miscommunication on pick up time and I was talking to the same person who made the comment earlier. He says the car is done and the inspection has been done. The owner picks me up - I'm assuming to assuage my frustration. And tells me how their phones are down...Their internet is down...They can't access records and that's why the couldn't call me. Etc...etc... I totally get growth. I'm self employed. I totally get good customer service. Been an entrepreneur for 14 years. It is one thing to be honest about your services it's another thing to try to blame everything else in the world and make up excuses as to why you couldn't complete the job on time or call and communication with your clients. I'm left having to make another appointment for breaks in an already busy and hectic schedule. After speaking with Robert, I was actually going to give his shop another chance and just ask for a different service advisor. However... When I arrived in the morning - I was again asked about a break inspection. I told them I don't really need a break inspection - I just need new breaks. I signed off on the amount quoted thinking they had my card on file and would give me a receipt upon pick up. When I was dropped off - I sat in front of the building thinking everything inside had been handled. The mechanic pulls up my car at an angle, occupying two parking spots right in front and leaves the car running. I hop in, notice their review card on the seat and head to my meeting, waving bye to Robert (owner) in the process. I get done with my meeting and find not a call, text or email from the owner but instead a phone call from the police department as it appears there was never a payment made. I immediately called with payment information and wasn't offered even a simple I'm so sorry for the miscommunication. Instead...I asked how he was so easily able to get a hold of the police and not of me? "Oh I called from my cell phone...." I post a comment about an hour later on their FB page and receive a response. Looks like their internet is miraculously working again. I can no longer trust these folks especially with the lack of care and concern about me as a customer that I received. With their over "300 phone inquiries a day" - I'm sure I mean absolutely nothing to them and they made sure to reiterate that today. read more

I just took my 67' mustang in for an alignment, all I can say is GREAT!! My car has aftermarket control arms so the alignment should be a little harder.... There a pretty good auto shop. They specialize in Mustangs, get it "Stang"...but they can fix any type of car. Not gonna go into details about my car but they told me it would take 3 days tops to find out what the problem was and fix it. Took 2 days to find the problem and then another week for them to order the parts and fix it. The price was actually not bad aside from the diagnostics test ran, cost $250! Honda costs $99 read more

Due to a recent move I have started to take my cars to Stang. During this recent service both Tristan and Kyle were great . They kept me informed on the progress of the repair and explained everything that needed to be done and why. Unfortunately it was an expensive repair due to the catalytic converter needing to be replaced. They did the repair and got the car Smog tested. As I was leaving I noticed a nail in one of the tires. It had been there before I brought the car in and I had just forgotten to mention it . I pulled back up and Kyle came out. I asked if they are able to repair such a puncture? He said yes and repaired it right on the spot and then noticed a large white scuff mark on the black fender (it had been there for awhile). He got some cleaner and cleaned it up nicely. He didn't even charge me for the repair of the tire! read more

Wow!!! I have never been to a better mechanic. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service and how they repaired my vehicle. Very nice to work with. Called to update us on our car daily. It was in and out within a few days and they set us up with a rental car while they were repairing it. After being told by the dealership that my car needed a $5,000 repair I was very scared to take it to a mechanic. The repair only ended up costing $370. The dealership had missed diagnosed it or just told us the problem was bigger than it was for the money. Not surprised!!! Stang auto tech was extremely thorough and the receipt was very specific about what repairs were made and why. I can't say enough good things about this dealership!!! I took my truck to Stang, today. It was idling rough at lights, and had studdered acceleration on light acceleration. I took it in this morning, and they had it fixed for 1/4 what I was prepared to spend. It was getting about 12.5 Mpg. After I picked it up I drove it 50 miles for a job tonight, and it ran great, and got 17.5 Mpg! This truck NEVER got 17.5 Mpg unless I was on a long trip across Kansas, (No Hills) These guys Rock!!! read more

Took my car there after it failed emissions. Initial est was $105 - $249 and they told me they would test and repair as issues were found. Kept the car for 2 days giving me various stories when I called -- Still testing, fixing vacuum leaks etc, need it another day. Final went in to see what they were doing and was presented with an estimate for over $1800 (they did not provide a written estimate after I declined the repairs and now claim it is a few hundred less) to replace the intake gasket among other things, and a bill for $239.28 for inspection. No repair work had been completed not even the vacuum leaks they kept telling me about. Took it to another mechanic, they found 2 bolts loose on the Intake and suggested I tighten them, replace the O2 sensor and give it a tune up myself. Did the work and passed Emissions the next day. When I went back for a refund got the same run around for 2 days and then they told me no, because they had only estimated inspection not repair work. read more

I can't tell you how impressed I am with these guys (in fact, I am going out of my way to write a review about them wherever I can). I took my car to the Nissan dealership because of a service engine light and some funny noises my car was making when starting it up. I was told I needed my head gasket replaced which was going to cost me $1800 at the dealership. I called around and these guys quoted me $1500 for the head gasket replacement. But when I brought my car to them, they took it upon themselves to double check the problem and they came to the conclusion that the head gasket didn't need to be replaced. So rather than simply doing the work that I asked for and billing me $1500, they advised me not to have my head gasket replaced. And they fixed the service engine light problem and engine problems for less than $200. Honest and friendly. They go the extra mile! They now have a new customer for as long as I live in the Denver metro area. read more
