1 Star - Absolutely Horrible Experience. Unsafe for Children. I enrolled my son at KinderCare in early May, and it was hands down the worst decision I've ever made for his care. I truly wish I had read the reviews and trusted my instincts before enrolling him. Let's start with the serious safety concern: they gave my son pineapple, something they were explicitly told he's allergic to. I have the daily log where they documented that he ate pineapple. When I messaged them after he broke out in a rash--consistent with his known allergy--they backtracked, changed their story, and even edited the record to say "pineapple substituted," without saying with what. They later blamed another child's rash as a "coincidence." This is reckless, dishonest, and dangerous. Instead of admitting an accident, they lied , and tried to cover it up. It wasn't a coincidence it showed he ate pineapple and came home with the rash from pineapple. (Diaper rash & hives). Beyond that, the entire billing situation is a mess. * I was told by kinder care worker that his tuition would be fully covered--otherwise I never would've enrolled him. * They charged me two registration fees up front and never fixed it, then tried to charge me a THIRD when I unenrolled him before sending out the bill with incorrect amounts and I will not be paying. * They started applying $30 late fees immediately, without ever disclosing that in advance. * They billed me $1,125 for a child who barely attended due to constant illness from being in that facility. Let's talk about that, too. The place reeks of pee, has no cameras, and is clearly understaffed or poorly staffed. My son, who usually loves everyone, screamed in fear every time he saw one particular older staff member. He would cling to me and cry, and even my family members noticed how he reacted to her. I have no doubt something inappropriate happened, and I will be pursuing that further. Packs of diapers went missing regularly, sippy cups came home full of old milk, and every day I picked him up, he was drenched in sweat--face red and dehydrated. They don't allow children to have access to water freely, and keep them outside for long stretches (likely to avoid having to interact with them). One staff member looked visibly strung out and reeked of cigarettes. How someone like that is even near children is beyond me. To make things worse, they didn't notify families for a week after kids were exposed to hand, foot, and mouth disease. My son could've been seriously impacted by their lack of transparency. While I was in labor, I had my parents, and sister all pick him up, and they didn't even id them once, to make sure they were who they said they were. And then got upset when the paper wasn't signed with dates my son was dropped off. They are completely disorganized, dishonest, and put money above child safety and well-being. There is constantly new staff every drop off besides the one lady I mentioned. This was my first daycare experience, and it was traumatizing--for both of us. Thank God he's in a new daycare now where he's thriving, doesn't cry at drop-off, and is actually safe and cared for. And they won't mistakenly give him something he's allergic too, if they did I'm sure they would own up to their mistake, not cover it up with lies. If you're considering this KinderCare location--run the other way. You deserve better, and so does your child. I'll be filing formal complaints with the appropriate agencies, to make sure this doesn't happen to other children. My son could have been highly allergic to pineapple, and it could have killed them because of their mistakes instead of apologizing it, they lied to cover it up. They knew he was allergic, it's documented in all forms filled out, on top of the first day of care, the director announced it to the teachers. I included the messages when I messaged them confronting giving my child his allergy as well as the online portal what it showed his food he ate for the day,, and how they changed it online shortly after as if I didn't already have a screenshot that they gave him something he's allergic too. They also kept enrollment saying my mother stated he would be back next week, after I already made it clear he wouldn't be going back after this incident. read more

So sickening and disgusting at the level that this facility and company handled this incident, my son four-year-old Luka was getting ready to go down to nap time and this let me remind you of licensed person that works there had the audacity to push my son's head down to the cot two times and she even admitted to it. Then they reported as an unusual incident which was in their words it was not meant in a harmful manner if she did it with such ease, just imagine once she gets to a certain point the things that she would do to little kids keep in mind, grown-ups, kind care. You are a nasty institution for trying to hide this and telling us to keep it hush-hush. So if you want your kids to go be treated like nothing bring them here to KinderCare standford ranch Location. 22551 Sunset Blvd Rocklin, CA Citation posted in there door. We moved from another KinderCare in the Bay Area and I'm so happy we decided to stay with them out here in Rocklin. All the staff are amazing, Ms. Frances the director in particular does an exceptional job. My son never missed a beat leaving his old school and coming here. The staff is very attentive and caring. You can tell they want to be there for the kids. They're frequently doing fun activities school-wide, and I have never heard "I had a boring day at school" from my 4 year old. This place really is it. Highly recommend. PS. They also accept PCOE program for the parents who are getting a little help!! read more

This KinderCare has been a second family to us , Stanford Ranch KinderCare is the BEST , they have had all three of my girls my oldest is 17 now, they have made sure that if there is any issues it gets taken care right away, they are the most caring loving group. i have not only made life long friends but a place i can count on . Miss Tara and Miss Francis are the most amazing director and assistant director , Its amazing to find a place i can go to watch my kids grow and they have always treated me and my girls like family and that's what you want in a daycare . My youngest is in school age they have gotten some good STAFF That have transformed school age, its a hard age with all the different personalities and keeping them on task. I do NOT recommend this center or kindercare at all. After transferring my son over to this location from a different kindercare he was getting bit at everyday. I regretted it immediately. I never got a warm welcoming feeling from this center. It's dirty when you walk in not kept up. It reeks of poop. I'm sorry my son had to smell that all day. The teacher he was assigned to Ms. Tianta has no patience for the kids at all. My son is 2 and I had walked in on her raising her voice at them, they are only two they do not respond well to yelling. You can tell she works this job just for the money not something she actually wants to do. After noticing a change in my sons behavior at home I requested he get transferred to the other toddler class to the assistant director she denied my request. He was only transferred after I talked to the director. Drop off was always horrible he would cling on to me for dear life and cry. I knew something wasn't right. We are lucky to meet the hardest working teachers and management staff at Stanford Ranch Kindercare. Our twin toddlers were here from 1.5 - 2.5 years old. Every teacher that our toddlers met really care about them. We always get prompt updates on the app, and the teachers always made themselves available to talk to us at pickup. The director and assistant director go out of their way to celebrate and plan activities for the children every month and parent appreciation events. We would have stayed longer if the classrooms are smaller for the 3 and up. I wished we could take the teachers and management with us to our new daycare. Daycare professionals who really care about your kids are real gems, and you don't know what you have until you don't work with them anymore. read more

This center is the place that made me feel comfortable as a stay at home mother to go back to work. It was imperative that we find an environment that was safe and nurturing to our then almost 2 year old and 6 month old. My youngest started out in the infant room with Ms Katelyn and Ms Bonnie and she loved it! She was so loved and cared for. She learned to crawl and walk in that time then went to the toddler room again with Ms Katelyn who she is obsessed with, and learned so many social emotional skills. How to do curriculum at the table, how to have meals and snacks at the table, how to share, clean up, and do circle time. In such a young age group they are implementing a daily schedule to prepare them for preschool. She started in the TWO's class last December, and she loves it. A class of 24 two year olds is amazingly structured and she is always busy with an activity. We love Ms Traci and appreciate her! I love seeing the evidence of learning every day in her art file and on the class boards. My eldest started in toddlers for a couple of months then graduated to the TWOS with Ms Traci who helped us fully potty train her! Let's be honest, two full schedule parents are exhausted when we get home, and she made it so simple for us. Forever thankful! My now 3 year old also had a tough time using her words and fussed a lot. She quickly grew out of that in the TWOS! Ms Traci talks to each child very maturely and encourages WORDS! She's just over all amazing at what she does! My eldest is now in the THREES with Ms Alma & Ms Katrina and she literally refuses to miss a day of school! She adores her teachers and her class. Every day she comes home and tells me about her curriculum. I love seeing their anchor charts, journaling, and themed classroom super enhanced. She sings her circle time songs to us, says letter sounds, recognizes her name, and just shares how much she loves her teacher Alma whom sometimes gets called MAMA on accident and how fun Ms Katrina is. It means so much to us that we know they're safe & loved by every teacher that is in their class for the day. I never get an "IDK or a I don't remember" response when i ask them what they learned today. I always feel like they know more at the end of the day than when I dropped them off and that feeling is the best! Our morning drop offs are easy and simple with Ms Kim and our evening pick ups are always calm at the end of the day. Ms Tara and Ms Monica in the office take every concern and request seriously and respond quickly and always professionally--yet my girls never fail to say hello and goodbye to them with a big hug. My daughter has been here at KinderCare since she was 7 months old and started in the infant room to the toddler room and She is now 2 years old and in the 2's room. The school is a great school. Everyone is so nice and friendly. But Due to covid we are not allowed in the rooms but the director made sure we saw the room via video and explained everything to my husband and myself. we have had a few problems but the director and assistant made sure we as a family was taken care of with our situation. Well taken care of on their end. Temperature checks and hand washing is done before you go to your class. The app is fantastic as well. It would be great if they had the option for live streaming in the class so that way we could watch live from our phones if we were at work. The 2's teacher does a great job at leaving really great notes for me.. but I wish the ratio was at least 12:2 during this covid time. Maybe it will happen in the future crossing fingers at least. Great place over all I missed the Christmas projects this year due to covid. So no Christmas with Santa in 2020 or crafting as far as the Christmas ornaments. I really missed that. My daughter really loves the crafts they do. She knows her numbers and colors and is very polite.. the Hands on activities are the best! read more

I have had both of my boys here for over a year now (ages 6 and 3). My oldest was apart of their transitional kindergarten program with Ms. Joanne and he absolutely thrived in there. He was well cared for and was fully prepared for Kindergarten this past year because of it. Ms. Joanne truly cares. My three year old was fully potty-trained while he was in the two-year old class with Ms. Tracy and she is amazing. She is full of patience, kindness and structured as she can be with a class of two year olds. He then moved to preschool where he already knows his colors and some letters as well as recognizes his printed name! I'm blown away every single teacher as well as the director and staff know my kids, know me and and treat us like family. Though they had never been in a formal preschool environment, they loved it here from the first day. The caregivers/teachers were always attentive to their emotional, intellectual and social needs. We were very impressed with their protocols for cleanliness, handling the kids during their challenging moods, and offering them structured but stimulating play activities. My children just started here in the twos class and pre-k and I am very happy with the care! We haven't been in a big center school type setting before so I wasn't sure at first but my kids come home happy and my older one talks about school a lot so I know they are happy there. We did 2 tours and a trial day before deciding. The office staff seems really nice and didn't seem annoyed when I wanted a second tour before deciding.
