UPDATE 2 - While I respect that some families may have had positive experiences, it is important to…read morerecognize that not every parent or child undergoes the same kind of treatment, communication, or support from lead teachers. One parent's positive experience should not be used to dismiss or respond to concerns raised by other affected parents. There is no need to invalidate someone else's experience when the focus should simply be on sharing one's own. In our experience, concerns regarding ADHD and behavioral differences were discussed, but what was difficult was how those concerns were approached. Sensitive matters involving a child's struggles should remain professional and parent-centered, rather than becoming discussion points in ways that affect relationships with other families whose children were friends with mine. I have heard two of the parents approach me and letting me know that my child's conditions were discussed with them and told their kids not to be friends with him. Despite being uncomfortable and concerned, they informed me about this so I would be aware of it. What became especially concerning was when my child began coming home visibly distressed, crying, and repeatedly expressing that he felt pressured by the green class teacher into accepting the blame for an incident he consistently said he did not do. From our perspective as parents, it appeared that instead of carefully understanding the situation, there were moments where he felt pushed to agree with accusations or accept responsibility despite insisting otherwise. Watching a young child become emotionally distressed to the point of crying at home and describing feeling pressured in this way significantly escalated our concerns and aggravated an already difficult situation. More importantly, identifying concerns should also come with meaningful support and guidance. Instead of collaborative strategies, accommodations, or support to help my child succeed, it often felt like the child was only commented on having ADHD and also blamed for behaviors -- such as moving quickly through activities or transitioning to another task instead of staying engaged in one work for extended periods. Expecting a young child to remain focused on a single activity for more than 30 minutes without understanding developmental needs or learning differences did not feel supportive. When I approached the lead Green Class teacher to discuss how we speak to and guide our child when he was not listening, I was told that she had significant experience handling children and did not like parents giving suggestions. I found this response dismissive because, during a meeting when we genuinely asked for suggestions or strategies to better support our child, we were told there were none and were instead asked the same question in return. However, when I attempted to offer open suggestions based on what worked for our child, this was the response I received. This felt particularly concerning when it already seemed as though there were ongoing struggles in understanding, handling, and supporting our child's individual needs rather than working collaboratively to help him succeed. Comparing a 6-year-old child to a younger child, such as a 4-year-old, was also unhelpful and discouraging. Every child develops differently, and comparisons do not provide constructive support or understanding for a child's unique strengths and challenges.

They have a waitlist for a reason. The grounds are beautiful with open space for kids to play and there are two locked entry points w security codes to get in; the grounds are fenced to keep kids safe. The classrooms are clean and Montessori educational items are placed at eye level accessible for children to interact with. Montessori language, such as calling the activities "jobs," is used, along with the traditional "walk around the sun" ceremony that takes place on a child's birthday. The school uses an app to communicate with parents showing pictures of their child during the day so you know what they're working on. I made it a point to check in w teachers at drop off/pick up time so there was always clear communication and collaboration with the school. The staff were all professional and kind in our experience. Our child has grown so much in the years we have been at RMA. At a recent elementary school assessment we were told she scored a grade level above academically on the kindergarten readiness test. Our child loves science after having weekly hands on science experiments in the classroom; she mastered letter and number recognition; she can write her name and has developed critical thinking skills thanks to her teachers and a school environment that encourages curiosity. The performances the school puts on throughout the year are really precious. The kids work hard at learning the songs and a lot of care goes into the events. I don't know the circumstances behind the negative reviews here, but I fully respect that Ms. Janet does not air any dirty laundry on a public forum like this. All I know is that RMA has a responsibility to provide a safe and healthy environment for the children enrolled, and from our own individual experience, they have done so. Our experience with RMA has been nothing but heartwarming and positive and we will miss it.

There were so many activities going on at the school during the time we attended. The principal, Ms. Mo is amazing and great with communication. She makes a point to greet parents and check in regularly. The front desk coordinator (I think she's East Indian) was also very kind and welcoming. I definitely felt I could trust the staff and the morning teachers, Ms. Vanessa, were especially amazing with updates for me. One improvement is more consistency with pictures/updates in the app. The app is also delayed and has some kinks. I think ProCare is a much better app for updates.

Please read if you're a parent considering this school!!…read more Today my newly diagnosed Level 1 autistic son was kicked out of The Goddard School in Roseville, and I'm honestly still trying to process it. I am heartbroken, angry, and deeply disappointed. My son is extremely high functioning. We have worked incredibly hard to support him -- I drive two hours twice a week to get him to occupational therapy, he will be receiving ABA support, and we've put countless hours into helping him thrive. Because of that work, he doesn't even qualify for speech therapy. He is a bright, loving, energetic three-year-old who deserves patience and understanding like any other child. Instead, we were essentially told he could not stay unless we provided a full-time one-on-one aide ourselves -- something that would mean paying tuition while also paying privately for someone to supervise him all day. As a parent, there is nothing more painful than watching your child start forming friendships and getting comfortable somewhere, only to be pushed out because he needs a little extra support. If a school is not equipped or willing to support neurodivergent children, families deserve honesty about that from the beginning. It would save parents and children a tremendous amount of heartbreak. Right now my momma heart is just broken. My son deserves a community that sees his potential and supports him -- not one that shuts the door on him. If you're a parent of a neurodivergent or high energy child, walk the other way. We have had our two children attend this school for a cumulative 6.5 years from very tiny little guys until Kindergarten-ready. My only sadness is that they ever had to leave. Allow me to list some of the highlights: - SMS is a true montessori. The teachers, the curriculum and the materials are all original Montessori as Maria Montessori herself conceptualized it. Many places use the word, but few deliver. If you are familiar with the Maria Montessori approach you will be pleased by their faithful and educated execution of it. - The setting is like a garden of eden. The school is built in an old cottage-style home on acreage. The children garden and play outdoors under large shade trees. They have a lot of time outdoors digging and running and playing- which I think is such a beautiful way to spend a childhood. - The environment is unhurried and calm. In true montessori fashion the children are empowered to move through their day according to their needs. The (healthy fruits and veggies) snacks are prepared fresh each day by the staff and left at their height level where they can take breaks and eat as needed. The bathroom is the same. The "jobs" (which is montessori-speak for the activities) are self-directed at designated times. There is an ease to the outdoor time, the music time, the art time. When I pick up my son at the end of the day I wish I could spend my days there! It's a beautiful space and tone. - The teachers are among the kindest, brightest and most loving souls you will ever meet. They take the time to get to know your child and adapt to their needs and personality. They include the children in tasks all day long- the kids are so proud to be helpers! They appropriately hug them and sit with them and give special attention on hard days and it's really like a home away from home. You won't find their generosity of spirit anyplace else. They're truly one-of-a-kind. Any parent knows how much it means when your child's teachers seem to delight in them. - The school is incredibly professional. All the staff work hard at their jobs. Communication is prompt and courteous. We've never had any issues (over almost 7 years) with charges or anything else. Their directress Mrs Anne conducts business with integrity. Over time I've been able to observe the teachers in a variety of situations and they have all behaved as consummate professionals. - Academically this school hits it out of the park. If you know the Montessori method you know that it is child-led. The children are allowed to chose "jobs" (activities) as they want to. They have no idea they are learning! And yet, my children have both graduated from Preschool far ahead of grade level and more than prepared for Kindergarten. Somehow, without ever pushing them, the Montessori approach magically follows their interests. This results in children who not only know a great deal but also LOVE TO LEARN. Both my children have inquisitive minds and engage deeply in learning. With my older child this has persisted even several years later. It is something all his teachers notice- his insightful questions and unique engagement in the classroom. I give a lot of the credit to the Montessori method and this school. They think learning is FUN - This school creates citizens of the world. It emphasizes a well-rounded approach to life. Good nutrition, kindness, empathy, problem-resolution, emotional-regulation, communication, environmental consciousness, multiculturalism... the list goes on. These are all values of the school and it's staff and it shows. Bottom line- if you have the opportunity to have your child attend here- TAKE IT. This school is one of a kind.

Preface: Slavik, the owner of RSR, i.e., Roseville Shoe Repair replaced the main zipper for the Gianni Versace tote bag, re-sewed/reinforced the exterior seams, reinforced the interior silk compartment's lining seams, and replaced the interior tote's compartment zipper. In addition, Slavik replaced the black tote's warped, old zipper--replaced tote with a new zipper and sewed via attaching two new black leather tote handles due to the original handles were literally disintegrating. FYI and BTW: What are the reasons the inability throwing or recycling either tote bag away? Why waste money, energy, and time repairing two "worthless" tote bags, eh, Shirley? WELP . . . Because the Lancôme black tote bag was the tote bag my Mom gave me along with the largest Lancôme skin care and make-up collection in production for my birthday present seven years before she passed away, i.e., the black tote bag possesses tremendously endearing, sentimental value. Backstory: Samonnim was designing the shopping tote bag on behalf of Gianni Versace's Future Designer Of The Shopping Tote Bag Collection. Therefore, the Gianni Versace shopping tote bag also possesses an extremely high, sentimental, historical value as well as an awesome birthday gift from Samonnim's heart. Finally, Slavik: Thank you so very much for repairing the main compartment zipper for my Sven Leather Backpack Purse, the Lancôme black tote bag my deceased Mother gave me, and also, the Gianni Versace's Shopping Tote Bag which will never be designed nor replicated!!!! All bags you repaired for me are PRICELESS! Knowledge Beginnings is a great place to have when in need of a care provider for your children. I am a picky parent with goals and expectations that my children and their care facility will meet. During my tour with KB I was encouraged to observe the teachers in the classroom to see how they interacted with the children, and i was shown live footage of what is going on in each classroom through cameras and a monitor in the lobby. It is important to me that my children get the respect and care they need and deserve as "little people" who have a hard time speaking up and taking care of themselves. I put my trust in the KB staff because they are all so personable, and open. They share stories about their families and they make an effort to get to know me and my family. My husband spends a lot of time traveling for work so it is very refreshing having someone who not only knows and loves my child, but takes the time to get to know them and myself as people. Ms Barbara is a tough cookie sometimes, i find if you approach her she opens up immensely. She takes the time to get to know each and every child, i walked in on her playing grocery store with the children the other day and was so overjoyed by the involvment and commitment she has for her children. She is not a talker unless you make the effort, but she does love the children and she does a very good job of teaching them independence and encourages them to be themselves and develop as unique individuals the way a twos teacher should! I am so thankful for all of the KB staff including the administration who btw are trying to run a business, and are doing a great job of while taking care of my babies. My family loves Knowledge Beginnings. We have been here since 2020 and still loving the place. We got our first son in during COVID as they were the only ones open for healthcare workers around here. Since then we have enrolled our second son and plan to enroll our daughter when the time comes. We love the staff and the teachers. Carol and Colleen are always available and quick to respond to any concerns either live or in a message. The teachers are fantastic and my boys always come home with a new story of what they learned that day. Last week, my oldest wrote his first book in class! They also get plenty of exercise during outdoor time. The center is always clean and hygienic, and they recently renovated the whole interior. They have a kitchen onsite and provide healthy breakfasts, lunches, and snacks which most other centers we looked at do not. They have more open hours compared to other care facilities around (6am-6pm). The app is fantastic. Not only can we complete all of the business we need to on it, but we also get updates and pictures throughout the day which always makes me smile when I am working. They host parent events throughout the year, such as a shaved ice bar or classroom get together, and frequently have special events come to the school such as a reptile lady, kid train, or even a robot band. Coming up is a trip down to see the Rivercats! All in all we are very happy to have found KB. We will continue to use them for all of our kids and cant recommend them enough. read more

Knowledge Beginnings in Roseville is a "premier" childcare center with it's NAEYC accreditation, extra curricular programs, and Mandarin class, but how premier can a daycare really be? I love this school don't get me wrong, the love the teachers have for my children allows for me to walk out knowing they will be taking my place for the next 8 hours while I am off at work, and they will be picking up the pieces exactly where i left off. I am not so easily bought by what others refer to as the "foofoo" of KB so much as I am bought by the way the teachers take notice in my week and my day to day adventures and most of all MY KIDS WEEK and THEIR DAY TO DAY ADVENTURES. I have come to realize during my time of reading reviews, that the kind of people who do this are 1. really pissed off and/or 2. don't know how to "talk things out." A daycare, is just that, a daycare. These people are not nurses and professional medical providers, they can't read your mind, or provide everything your heart desires, they aren't one-on-one nannies; I would love for them to be sometimes, but then my child wouldn't understand how things actually work and operate. For me when choosing KB, despite the poor and positive reviews, it truly came down to the teachers. I wanted to make sure that i connected with them and that they knew how important my children are, management and specialty items aren't what the kids want or need... they need respect and love and so... mine needed KB! read more

My son has attended Knowledge Beginnings since age 20 months and I have had a great experience with their care. I've had awful experiences with childcare in the past, so I'm pretty picky, but this care facility has really impressed me. The staff is very caring and friendly, the curriculum is fabulous, and the center is clean and safe. I really like that there are cameras in all the classrooms and monitors in the front lobby so you can check on your little one without them seeing you. When my son had separation issues at drop off I could go to the monitor, punch in the camera for his classroom, and see that within minutes he was already playing just fine. When my son had a hard time with drop off, the staff was very gentle and loving with him. They made every effort to make him feel safe, secure, and happy. They have a ton of fun activities including a small on site water park, visits by "the piano man", and great outdoor play yards. My son learns social skills as well as academic knowledge. For the last few months he has been in the Mandarin Chinese immersion program, and has begun singing songs in Mandarin at home. It's really cool to see him learn another language at age 3! I recently had a change in circumstances with my work, so I have the opportunity to be a full time mom which means I'm keeping my son home with me now. We've had our son at KB since he was seven weeks old. We were looking for a place that would not only keep great care for him, but also actively teach him during the day as well. That is exactly what we found! The infant room has outstanding teachers that made us feel secure about the care our son was getting. They did quite a lot of sensory play when he was old enough and he loved learning and playing with his friends in class. They would send home pictures and art projects often and were always receptive to any concerns that ever came up. As he moved up to Toddlers 1 and 2, the care was still consistently great. The teachers clearly saw his interests and helped to encourage his love of reading and learning. We had to look up some sign language when he came home and asked for "more" or said "please" with his hands. They provide a great environment for learning and playing. Overall, my wife and I are extremely pleased with the care our son receives and highly recommend KB! read more

This is what I think after reading all the reviews. You should also read some of the comments that Yelp doesn't recommend at the moment. Because there are comments from many happy families who had their children in this center over many years. Of course there are also low rate comments from some unhappy parents. Listen to their reasons carefully because a lot of the problems could be solved through a good communication with the teacher or the center. My suggestion is have a tour at the center. Take a look with your own eyes. Talk to some families. Listen to their experiences... This is my own observation in this center---there are so many great teachers are doing wonderful jobs everyday in this school. They are teaching and taking care of children from all kinds of families and they deserve more than 5stars! The only reason I changed my rate from 5to4 is because Yelp hide mine just like most of the other 5s. Which is not really making sense! read more

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Knowledge Beginnings. I moved my daughter from her daycare into a full-time preschool program and was a little nervous about the transition -- I shouldn't have been. The school itself is incredibly well-maintained -- they have organized, clean classrooms. My daughter's teacher sends regular e-mails detailing the week's lesson plan and does a fantastic job of keeping the kids engaged and on-track. My daughter's retention of the information she learns in class in truly incredible -- better than I could have expected (and I have a high-achieving child). Great enrichment opportunities too -- she loves the dance class and will start the math class in a few weeks. The teachers are all accessible and are dedicated to spending time with each child. I could not be happier with my experience and recommend it to anyone who is interested in a well-rounded education for their young child. read more

I LOVE this place. I was refered to Knowledge Beginnings from a co-worker who had their children in this preschool for five years. The Director and staff are so loving, it is a school with hart. The Director is very flexable with my schedule, thank god because its a crazy one. I dont agree with any of these negative reviews, my children have been a part of Knowledge Beginnings for the past two years and love it. Here is how you know you found a good school. My children dont want to go home, on the weekends they want to go to school. The school atracks families that are very involed with their children, every weekend you will get a birthday invitation for one of their friends. All the families are very nice, they arent afraid to stop and get to know you. I feel like all of the Teachers and Administration are a part of my family. I will recomend this school forever. I am very happy with Knowledge Beginnings. My daughter is 3 (she will be four soon) and she has been to two other day care centers. I took her out of the other ones because I had problems with their service. My daughter has been at this place almost a year and I am VERY happy with how clean the class room is and the front office is. The teachers and the management team pay attention to the service they provide. My daughter is in the Mandarin program. I am very happy with the teacher's caring approach to the kids, my daughter really enjoys going to school every day. The English teacher is also wonderful, she makes learning fun. My daughter knows the letters of the alphabet both reading and writing. I am soooo grateful to have found this school. I tell my family and friends about the school. Hearing my daughter that she had a fun day at school, means a great deal to me. read more

I have had my children at this location for over three years now and I couldn't be happier with the care provided and the improvments in my children's lives having been in such a happy, highly engaged enviroment. The staff is always on top of the events of the day and my children really love seeing them. I have seen this location really grow and blossom into one of the best centers my family and I have ever been envolved with. I have recommended everyone I know to them and have made many life long friendships through the great care my children have recieved. As to some of the other reviews, I can say that from the Director to the teachers, I have never experienced anything but the highest level of professionalism and courtsey. I have a 6 and 4 year old boy, and have been using this school for almost their entire lives... I've found that my boys have grown, blossomed, and have great minds, much of which has to do with their time in school. The Center Director, who is ALWAYS there and willing to go the extra mile for all of my children's' needs- whether it's vocabulary help or just for a quick laugh; she is extremely enthusiastic, and forever upbeat. Each of the boys' teachers obviously have a tremendous passion for their work- truly, I don't know how they do it! And, every teacher knows my boys by name, face, and personality- they truly KNOW them! So impressive! I will be sad when the boys will no longer need to attend here as they get older, but I know that the lessons learned and the impact made will stay with them for their entire lives. I have been bringing my 5 year old son here for the past 3 years. I can't tell you how much we love this place. From the director to his teachers we don't have a single complaint. Everyday we get a report both written and verbally about our son and his progress. When we were concerned about a learning difficulty he was having both teachers and school director sat down with us and set goals for his academic achievements. He has overcome his academic struggle and is doing great. We can't thank them enough for their dedication to our sons well being both academically and emotionally. Our son attends three days a week and on his off days is sad he is not going to school. We have a 9 month old that will attend in the near future and we can't imagine sending him anywhere else. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Knowledge Beginnings. My daughter has been there since she was 3 months old (going on 2 years now). From day one they treated my daughter like one of there own and made my transition back to work so easy. They have a curriculum for all ages (yes, even infant) that has advanced my daughters learning far beyond many other kids I know her age. She loves all of the staff there and starts asking for them before we even leave the house in the mornings. I recommend Knowledge Beginnings to all of my friends and coworkers looking for a reliable, loving and caring place to take their kids. A fantastic staff and a fabulous group of teachers! Always striving to provide the best setting and overall environment that provides a loving, nurturing and overall outstanding learning experience. We were so please with their private Kindergarten. They go beyond the basics covered in public school of reading, writing, and math with science, history, technology and language. A highlight of their program is the incorporate of Chinese (Mandarin) language. The overall curriculum, staff, and teacher to student ratios have provided my son a wonderful foundation and a lifetime love for learning. The Knowledge Beginnings in Roseville is a premier childcare center. From their NAEYC accredited curriculum and Mandarin program to the super fun water park out back, they have so much to offer when it comes to your children. I have had children at this center for 2 years now, and am nothing but happy with the service and care we've received. We view the staff there as our family friends, and have been so fortunate to see our kids build such strong relationships with them as well. There's nothing better than knowing that your child is in good hands when you drop them off- my kids run to their teachers for big hugs every day! This program is worth every penny! read more

I felt the need to share as my husband and I know how difficult it can be to find a childcare with heart, education, fun, and support. After viewing many, we found KB. We have always felt of value and the kids had a blast, while being more than prepared for elementary school. It has been tough to move on, but if their is room there, I would definitely recommend KB for you. You can expect a team that will support and love your kids no matter what stage they are in. As a military family we move ALOT. We have been in 4 daycares in 4 years because of moves. This is hands down the best center we have had the privilege of putting our children in. We have three children ranging from infant to four years old. The teachers are amazing, caring and very compassionate about what they do. I could not ask more from the management. The staff genuinely care about my kids and our entire family. We tried another center first and my 2 year old daughter cried everyday but she didn't cry when we started going to KB. Her and my one year old son are excited to go to school each day. They have always notified us of any issues and call right away if anything happens while they are at school. So, I've been a client of AKL for about 2 years. The school I started at is far from what it is…read morenow. I waited to post this review until after my children had left, as I fear retaliation by the director of the school. If you're considering going here because the facility is cute and the teachers are nice, run. Please run. The only reason I stayed so long was the two teachers my children had cared so much about them they kept them safe from Other aspects of this school that are just terrible. However the upper management is so terrible that all of the good teachers are gone and the ones that have stayed are almost being abused. It's truly horrible. The new teachers, I couldn't tell you, they have never introduced themselves to me. I was scolded by an apparent new staff and few weeks ago, who I don't even know the name of (she wears crocs and has long brown hair). I thought she was a parent at first. This all comes from the top, my biggest issue, and the issue most people have had is with the Director Suzanne. She's the epitome of all the things we've learned not to do when raising children, yet she raises the children with all the toxic aspects we now know are bad. I've even heard her talk about Mexican women's eyebrows as "chola" brows and multiple times she's tried to sell me on her daughters MLM. Teachers have told me they yell at the kids when no one's watching. I went to the owner, Edmond, multiple times but he really does not care. It's wild, he owns this business and has a daughter but my emails were met with kind words and literally nothing else. Expect when Ms. Suzanne confronted me about a private email of concern I had send Edmond about her that she had read. We ended up arguing at drop off and I was late for work that day. The schools been claiming they're raising Tuition to fix the buildings, they've been claiming this for years, I have never seen anything fixed, only things deteriorate more. The only thing I experienced was the lock on the gate not working for months, and nothing being done until a homeless man entered the school and they had to do an active shooter drill. Yes, babies, and toddlers doing their first reason active scooter drill. The only reason I know this is because a teacher was so shaken at pick up I made her tell me. THE SCHOOL DID NOT EVEN LET PARENTS KNOW. I hope they get it fixed because it's a beautiful school with some very nice teachers that they underpay and are literally horrible to. I am not the only one that thinks this, many families have left because Ms. Suzanne had picked on them until they feel they're not welcome. Many teachers have left because they dont agree with the ways she micromanages them and treats the children. There are SO many other wonderful schools that are cheaper, nicer, and safer. Save yourself the headache and find something else.

So these poor kids are sitting in their wet diapers for two hours because they get changed. Disgusting and lazy in my opinion. Then, I was shocked when I walked in there too because aside from the smell, they two year olds were WATCHING TV. Are you kidding? I don't care if it's raining outside there are HUNDREDS of other things and activities to do with two year olds. Why pay someone this much money to sit your kid in front of a tv? This place is a SHAME. And should be out of business. The list of red flags goes on and on, but I couldn't get out of there fast enough. It reminded me how LUCKY I am to stay home with my babies because NO ONE will take care of your kids the way you do. These people clearly do not give a *** about the kids and it was unbelievably horrifying.
