This is what my children and I experienced at this place. They show no case. Yes I filed my own investigation and complaint years back when it occurred but I get continual updates from the county that they're always under investigation and being complained against for mistreating children. Go look it up for yourself. I highly recommend putting your kids in Roseville ranch Montessori instead of this they actually CARE about your kids there. read more

We love Playcare! They have several parent participation events each year and have Spirit Weeks for the kids a few times a year. They have great learning projects and experiments. I wanted to share an updated review. I have no complaints at all! My daughter is currently in the "Cherry Blossom" class and is truly thriving. It might just be a coincidence, but at 18 months, she communicates surprisingly well for her age, is incredibly advanced, and looks forward to daycare each morning. She walks in every day with a big smile, and when I pick her up, she still has that joyful grin on her face. Bonnie, the owner, is wonderful and ensures I feel secure and comfortable with her facility. While I can't speak for the other classes, I absolutely adore the teachers in Cherry Blossom. They are attentive and gentle with our toddlers, and they always make sure my daughter's emotional and physical needs are met. We couldn't be happier at Play Care Learning Center! read more

Wow. Playcare has been nothing short of a blessing for our family. We've been here for 7 years and both of our children. As we are nearing the end of our time here as our kids age out I wanted to leave an accurate view from someone who was here longer than a few weeks. Salty reviews on here huh? Value: you get what you pay for. Sure you can find cheaper. Sure you can find others that say they can give you the moon and more for the low price of xyz. What you don't get is the quality you get at Playcare. There's a reason why a Bentley costs what it does versus a Geo Metro. Cleanliness: top notch. They pride themselves by always keeping the place as clean as they can, or as possible as you can with little ones running around. We have been to a number of big box daycares during our time and we were so glad we finally made our way to Playcare. Staff: always amazing. Our kids have grown so attached to everyone here. The only downside i can share is that as with all daycares, sooner or later the staff leave and our kiddos do miss them dearly. From Miss Brandi, to Miss Goli and everyone in-between, our kids remember them all. You've all been great! Care: we have always felt our kids were in the best of hands while at Playcare. During pandemics, or local emergencies they have kept our most precious children safe and us parents informed. If we could we would keep them here until college! Final notes: don't believe the salty reviews from those who maybe had a vendetta or grudge. Our experience and those of us who have been here a while (who still all still have family get together and birthday parties) all love and adore Playcare. Working in healthcare and having to work through COVID while others had the luxury of staying home we were able to continue to serve our community due to the diligence and cleanliness of Playcare. If you want your child or children to get an amazing start, have a blast every dag and be ahead when they start kindergarten, make sure you bring them here! My daughter had an extremely difficult time with change and transitions and the wonderful staff (Ms. Arie and Ms. Alejandra, Ms. Bonnie (owner)) got her over that. Instead of her crying and screaming daddy, she would go into class with a smile. Before starting Kindergarten, from what she learned at Play Care, my daughter was able to count to 100, do some addition, she not only knew all her letters but could actually write them all. She also was able to spell out words as long as I sounded them out for her. My daughter is now at John Adams and is far, far ahead of the class. The teacher puts her on the happy list almost every day which means she is listening, following directions and setting a great example. She just recieved an award in front of the whole school for creating a culture of excellence. Her teacher told me at back to school night my daughter is always leading the class, eager to listen, follows directions, and does her work correctly. If you put your child/children anywhere but here, you are really doing them and yourself a major disservice. Ms. Bonnie is an absolutely amazing owner. She knows all the children by name, genuinely cares about all the children, and strives with her husband to ensure your kid(s) will get the best education while having as much fun as possible. My daughter loved every day and would even want to go on the weekends. The staff is amazing. If I had to do it all over again, I would have put my daughter here immediately instead of just for 2 years. You definitely get way more than you pay for. read more

Excellent place for your children, my wife used to work there and they are very professional and in compliance with all California standards for children caring and development, my wife and sister both were part of the crew, my sister is still there and she is very happy, I can't wait to enroll my baby Oliver, he is 7 months now and I'm exploring the option to drive all the way from Sacramento to Roseville just because the high quality of this place, they value the kids, I know for a fact because my wife and sister are fully certified for child education development, all credentials are needed to work here, the owner of the Play Care is very nice and professional, she is always keeping up with her personnel and with the kids. read more

Our children been attending here since 2019. Although we took a year off during the pandamic, we have returned about a year ago. There is no better feeling than knowing our children are being loved and well taken care of everyday! The teachers are engaging, caring, and passionate. During drop offs, it is obvious how happy they are to see our children. They constantly teach our children different crafts, reading/writing, group activities, sensory activities, etc. They send updates throughout the day with photos, nap time, what they ate and the amount they ate, potty schedule, and more! As working parents, we LOVE seeing these photos throughout our busy day and it gives us a piece of mind knowing our children are in good hands. Our children also express to us how much they love their teachers on multiple occasions... on their own!! read more

Stay clear of this place! I had my son in the infant room and were very unsafe and not clean. It was disgusting. They used pillows in the crib when he was a baby, would not clean toys in between kids when placed in mouths plus it was Covid time and it was plush toy and when I asked them about it they said they don't always have time to clean in between. My son was constantly sick. After we left my friend pulled her daughter put the toddler room due to some issues as well and a teach have the WRONG bottle in the infant room. My son Alexander has been going to playcare since we moved to Roseville in February. I cannot say enough good things about the owner and all staff. They really are attentive, taking such great care of the children. They give us updates throughout the day via their app. The updates include pictures, meals etc. the space is immaculate and spacious. I trust this place has the children's best interest. This place is horrible. The staff is terrible and the place is a complete mad house. I should have listened to my 3 year old sooner when he cried that he didn't want to go to school. The adults here belittle the children which is never ok. They told my son he was crying or acting like a baby, so they were going to put him in the baby room and make him wear a diaper. What is wrong with these people? Please do your kids a favor and go somewhere else. read more

We toured this business and they were all very nice and the center is stunning. I love the security they provide and the fun activities. My son had never been in daycare before and so he cried going in the morning. The teacher in his class were not very friendly at all. It really bothered me how the teacher couldn't even greet their kids at the door. After weeks, I was picking my son up at 12 before native and the teacher in his room was putting kids down. She looked very frustrated (her co-teacher quit that week) and she was putting a child on his mat and just dropped him. No he was not hurt, but this was unacceptable to do to a small child. He was 2 years old! I brought this up and they didn't say a word about. I never got a call from the owner or any follow up about this. I have heard other similar stories from this center. They don't seem to care about the quality of care they provide rather just that they have staff to fill the rooms. Beware and get to know your teacher! read more

My daughter has been going for a week now and she loves it!! We use the before and after school care and busing they provide as my daughter is a kinder at the nearby school. They are very secure here, everything is clean, the open space is awesome, the staff is very nice, and the app you use the check in and out as well as messaging the owner personally is awesome. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter in their care M-F. This is her first experience with "daycare" because we had Grandma watching her the first 4 years of her life. Compared to the other options for childcare in the Roseville area Playcare is by far the best!!!!! read more

zero stars. If you are considering bringing your children here, please don't. I don't really write reviews on yelp unless absolutely necessary. In this case, I feel compelled to prevent other families from making the same mistakes we did. We fell for the facade - the playgrounds, the light, airy rooms, etc. SOME of the teachers are really, truly amazing. But I pulled my children out because ultimately, I no longer felt safe sending my children there. Please see past the negative reviews on here and take them very seriously because, while they may seem like horror stories and you would think "that wont happen to me", or "that was a long time ago", or "bonnie seemed really great when I met her and toured the facility", believe me, it is not worth it. There are also a lot of reviews on indeed from previous employees. Additionally, see the social services website to review past facility citations from licensing. Do your research! My infant was given another infants bottle of milk. This isn't really the issue. The issue came when we were lied to about it. A photo was posted on brightwheel, and then taken down. We were told by Bonnie, the owner, that she had no idea. She did. How I KNOW she did, I decline to share. When I came to pick up my daughter from daycare early that day, what I witnessed was awful. It was middle of the day, so not a common pick up or drop off time. I could hear screaming babies from outside the building. In the infant room, all the babies (there are usually 12 babies in the class) were all in their cribs, with the lights off, and there was 1 teacher ignoring all of the babies. Come to find out, after talking to licensing and to other parents, parents have called multiple times about ratios, they have been cited for ADULT PILLOWS IN CRIBS WITH INFANTS, their teachers are encouraged NOT to hold babies and feed them, but are told that they should GIVE BOTTLES IN CRIBS. and... OFTEN - brightwheel updates are not accurate. Again, declining how I know brightwheel updates are not accurate. However, if you are told that your child has been changed, fed and is sleeping. That may not be true, they may just be left in their crib to scream and cry endlessly. On top of all this, lets talk about food. If you care about your child eating healthy food and you read the website that says they feed healthy food, think again. Children are fed lucky charms (to an 8 month old), chocolate muffins, go-gurt, cinnamon rolls, candy, cookies, cupcakes, etc. Almost all of the food given is highly processed, high in sugar, very unhealthy. I cant even tell you since opening up about our experience on social media how many other parents have come out to say they have also had really, REALLY bad experiences at this place. Previous teachers as well, coming out of the woodworks discussing the ethical dilemmas they were consistently put in by the owner. There is so much turnover with teachers for a reason. Honestly, it's too much to write. Children are hurt and neglected at this facility. I know that sounds like a powerful and dramatic statement - but it is true. I would NEVER EVER recommend this place. read more

We came to Play Care after having a tough experience at another daycare where we had been for 2 years. I have to say, I wish we moved our daughter sooner! Ms. Bonnie is incredible. She is kind, compassionate, supportive, emotionally attuned and just the best all around! Our daughter is learning and growing, enjoying outside, and really blossoming! One of the first things we noticed is that the staff are always friendly and seem so happy, especially compared to other daycares. The staff know each child and work really well with them. They are wonderful providers. I am so grateful for all of them. Play Care is clean and inviting! They have fun water day, chickens, a garden and animals they learn about. I really can't say enough about how magical Play Care is. We absolutely TRUST that our daughter is loved, supported and cared for while we're at work. We love Play Care! read more

My son has been going to this daycare for a little over three months and we absolutely love it. They have been terrific regarding his potty training needs. I have seen so much growth in my son's learning and playing abilities too. Just amazing. The staff has been terrific and management/owner are so passionate about taking care of the kids and providing a safe and nurturing place for them. This preschool is stellar! The owner Bonnie is nothing less than exceptional. I just love seeing her smile everyday and I love the way she greets my children when I'm dropping them off. She has the best team of teachers who are invested in the care and enrichment of young children. I never thought we could be so happy at a preschool, but Playcare has lived up to my expectations and beyond. Please do not send your children here. As someone who has had to endure listening to the disrespectful belittling of children from the back wall of this facility I ask you to reconsider. Just one example from today as a little girl sat crying for her mom, the teacher responded with "She is gone and you are crying like a baby. That's what babies do...you must be a baby." My wife and I wanted to spend some time together on Saturday 8/24. We decided to try the new drop-in daycare service at Play Care. She called ahead to confirm they were open. We arrived to find the front door locked. I called and the staff member said she was alone with a sleeping child. She woke the child up and unlocked the door. She did not have a registration packet printed and attempted to call the owner "Bonnie" who did not answer. She made contact with another employee who provided her with instructions. She seemed very frazzled and confused while letting us know someone had called out. We felt very uncomfortable leaving our toddlers in her care. We decided to bring them to another drop-in daycare. I went to the front door to find it locked. It's an automatic sliding door. I had to force it open which took some strength. We exited and the staff member locked it again. As I sat in the car I became very concerned that a small child inside the building would not be able to escape a fire. What if their caretaker got sick or passed out? I called and suggested that she keep the door unlocked. Play Care is unprepared for weekend services. read more

Amazing place for children. The teachers really care, provide an amazing curriculum and know what they are doing. My son has been attending since January. We couldn't have asked for a better place to bring our son. I love that the teachers are the same everyday, there are so many options for play/learning, and there are many different outside activities. Students build, imaginative play, and garden to name a few things that they do. The center is always clean, full of light, and easy to see the children. The app you can subscribe to allows you to get updates, pictures, and send messages. I love that I can be in contact or the teachers can contact me if needed. read more

This center is every child's dream to be safe and have fun. Classrooms are bright and spacious, playground has a natural wood play structure that doesn't get hot or cold. There is a multipurpose room for children to use when it's cold, rainy or hot outside. Teachers are super nice and experienced. My kids love this place! My 9 months old is extremely happy and loves her teacher. Her classroom is very clean and since she has been started going there, she has never been sick which i'm super happy about that. My 2.5 year old wakes up every morning being excited to go there and start his day. He loves his teacher and always excited about playing on the play structure. Amazing, fun and huge playground. They also serve fresh and healthy food which my son constantly asking me to make the same thing for him while we are at home. The owner/director Ms. Bonnie is extremely helpful and understanding who has a baby herself and understands everything about being parents. We are so fortunate to be near this amazing, safe and nurturing preschool where my kids are growing happy. Thank to Ms. Bonnie and her staff for being so caring!!
