We stayed in the main lodge and originally we were a bit concerned that there was no air conditioning. That ended up not being an issue as they have a box fan that fits in the window. Worked good enough for us, we stayed here in late August. The lake had free paddle boards and kayaks. The resort was very relaxing and quiet, with lots of places to be secluded in nature. Even with the lodge being fully booked. The only downside was the food. It wasn't great, not bad, but definitely nothing special.

Extremely thankful to the staff for such wonderful service. Food was decent, we liked the fresh chocolate chip cookies and tiramisu the best. Tofu stir fry was yum. As well as mashed potatoes and salmon. I liked they had yogurt and cream cheese for my bagel. The amount of thoughtfulness that goes into serving their guests really shows. room was amazing with a nice view and clean. Lake was fun to paddle boat on as well as s'mores, and the trampoline. Sad the jacuzzi was not working so we skipped the pool. We got low tire pressure and a staff member helped us out as there was no gas station that had air service in the park.

The River Jewel is truly a gem. Our party reserved the Sequoia Charmed and Kaweah Gem Suites during our visit. I loved that each suite was walking distance to the river and that were lots of places to sit and relax on the way there. I stayed in the Sequoia Charmed Suite. There was a tiny balcony that overlooked the river. The outdoor kitchen was great. There were bikes to borrow, and there was even a ping pong table. The suite was adorable with a tiny kitchenette and a large pullout sofa. We really liked these beautiful suites. The owner, Diana, was thoughtful, and the suites were big, beautiful, and really relaxing. For our next stay in Three Rivers, I would love to stay at this lovely property again.

My husband and I got married out there a couple weeks ago and my whole family stayed there and Brenda (host) and Val (cleaning/maintenance) went so above and beyond to accommodate us all, she made sure all of the rooms had everything that everyone needed, whenever we had any questions with planning the weekend beforehand we would call her and she was so incredibly helpful with EVERYTHING. She decorated our room adding some special touches for my husband and I. My wedding weekend/week was absolutely perfect and I truly have Brenda to thank for all of the advice and help she gave us while planning the weekend before we even got out there. I loved the Worldmark Bass Lake as each unit was a 2 story townhouse.  There was nobody above us and I rarely heard the people next to us.  At other Worldmarks I was often woken up by people walking on the floor above us.  I'm not a good sleeper away from home but I got some good sleep here. There is the nearby town of Oakhurst about 15 minutes away which had a good amount of restaurants.  I was impressed there was a street vendor selling half flats of strawberries for $20.  I bought one and was eating strawberries everyday.  Strawberries needed another day or 2 before they were fully ripe.  After I let them sit in the kitchen they were sweet and juicy with lots of strawberry flavor.  Better than supermarket strawberries but not quite as good as my favorite farmers market strawberries. Staff was friendly and helpful.  Lots to do and see nearby.  I loved staying at Bass Lake Worldmark Spring 2024 road trip to Yosemite + King's Canyon National Parks: Golden Dragon was our 1st stop for food. https://www.hungryones.com/2024/05/golden-dragon-2/ We stayed at Worldmark Bass Lake. https://www.hungryones.com/2024/05/worldmark-bass-lake/

Worldmark units have their own pool, etc, and the RCI units share a pool, parking lot, trash bins with some actual homeowners who live in that same area. They are not very friendly (who can blame them, while we were there a guest drove his truck through someone's backyard.) Forgive the length, but good info here: The unit: We stayed in unit A35, in building 3, closest to the lake but with no lake view. Perfect unit if you want a quiet place to relax and an opportunity to see wildlife. It faces the boat parking lot. Upstairs in the master is a window facing the road. Anyone on the road can see into the window so we just left the blinds closed. No road noise to speak of. There is only 1 shower/tub and it's upstairs, so not technically a 2 bath as stated. With 4 people,  it's a bit inconvenient. Photos show all the room appointments, it was perfect for us. Both bedrooms were upstairs with the full bath.  The lake: Very short 5 min walk to the lake. We easily rolled our kayaks over every morning.  Lake gets very busy, but the water is incredibly clear. We spent hours exploring the shoreline and wetlands. Angel Falls trailhead is also in walking distance from the resort, although there are a few places along the road where there is no shoulder, so its not for the faint of heart. Yosemite Access: Wawona entrance is only 30 min from the lake but it's another hour to get to the main attractions in the park (bridal veil falls etc.) We were here during the Wahburn and Oak fires so we had to use the entrance gate waaaay over on the other side of Mariposa. After 1.5 hours of driving, we then had a 2 hour wait to get in the park. I don't recommend it. I cannot recommend this place enough. Staff was friendly and helpful. From the pool to the lake, there are tons of things to do and explore,  enough to keep all ages busy.

We loved the awesome view of the lake, and the patio is a perfect place to sit and relax with 2 chairs & a firepit. We were a late check-in and someone called us before we arrived, to give us information on getting into the cabin, parking and general instructions. Friday night was pretty quiet. Saturday night we could hear some good music playing from the restaurant patio. It was loud enough to hear from inside our room, but by no means bothersome. We enjoyed the vibe. By about 9:30ish, we noticed the music had stopped and it was back to silence. Our trip was cut short for personal reasons, but we'll definitely stay here any chance we get.

The beds are very comfortable and the cabins come equipped with some amenities, plenty of towels and blankets and very high quality linens which is unexpected in a cozy cabin. Each cabin has a theme, we were in the Bear Cabin which is cabin 19, and our friends were in the Eagle cabin. All the cabins have lovely lake views and front porches - perfect for watching the time pass while enjoying the incredible view. Ours is not right on the lake but up the hill so you can still see the view from your windows and front porch. Very quiet, serene and peaceful. There is a general store and restaurant on-sight - making it a very convenient place to stay in a pretty quiet area. We ate at the restaurant and thought it was quite good (wrote a separate review of that). I am only giving the property four stars because there were a couple areas that I think could be improved but it was nothing we felt we had to tell the staff. Again, we were very happy with the place. Overall, the cleanliness of the cabin could be improved. Seems like the porch hadn't been hosed down in ages and was full of dust and cobwebs. The floor also didn't seem like it had been cleaned very well. I'll give some leeway here as the area was quite dusty after a dry summer. There was a giant cobweb insight the bathroom window which was a little unsettling. Also to note, the beach area closest to the resort seems to be very popular for locals on Saturdays so it got crowded. Obviously they can't control that, but wanted to mention here for your plans if you stay. You will need to get space early. Overall, would recommend this cute resort with very cozy cabins for a mountain getaway. We didn't get a chance to explore the area - it was very hot so we spent our time at the lake. We'd like to come back in the fall and do more exploring.
