The problems immediately started when I contacted them for a pick up because I was moving, over the phone when I called I was informed that my account was moved to collections and if I wanted to have them picked up I needed to talk to "collections" (a debt collector agency)which I thought was odd. So I was switched over to collections and was told they only do pick ups once a month I was not allowed to negotiate any day convenient to my schedule but only theirs. I needed to move the 28th they wanted the washer and dryer the 2nd which clearly did not work for me. I asked the debt collector could she explain how my account was put into collections when I've never missed any payments she was very rude and nasty and told me I owed almost $1k in debt but if I agreed to a pickup my debt was completely wiped clean! Like what kind of sense does that even make I rent these machines never agreed to own as their policy states you can never own the washers or dryers they rent out. Then I called the company "Appliance warehouse" again and asked could they please explain how my account was put into collections with $1k worth of debt and they refused to give me a answer but switched me over again to the debt collection agency. My payments were only $55 a month for that much debt I would have missed almost 2yrs worth of payments! I've been researching this company and there is not an actual building or location in my city or even the next. On the pickup day I have received over 16 text messages of constant time changes for the specific pickup! I believe this is a Ponzi scheme company scamming and preying on people for a quick buck...you've been warned.

Every time something goes wrong it takes 10+ days to resolve. Customer service is completely unempathetic. Never once did a supervisor call me back and apparently the supervisor is OOO until Tuesday so I guess NOBODY works but the people who are probably 3rd party techs. Save yourselves the headache of dealing with this dumpster fire of a company. I'm honestly shocked they are even in business still.

When we contacted the manufacturer, they informed us that they couldn't honor the warranty because the unit was sold by an unauthorized dealer. I took this critical information back to the store and confronted the owner, who shockingly attempted to sell me a freezer that I wouldn't even consider placing in a rundown property. I made it very clear that I'm not struggling financially and could easily buy a new freezer from Home Depot. However, I was reassured that I had a warranty on the unit I purchased from him. The owner then tried to push another unit on me and dismissed my concerns, claiming he couldn't do anything. If you're running a business, you need to stand behind your products. If you knew I couldn't get the unit warranted, why would you mislead me? This is unacceptable business practice. If you choose to shop there, ensure they can guarantee that your unit is covered by the manufacturer. Otherwise, you risk it sitting at the roadside waiting for the trash man after nearly five months. Don't let the reviews deceive you; bad business will always be bad business. Before you leave the store, make sure the unit has a serial number on the back. Don't get trapped like I did.

Scott did a great job informing me of my options and trouble shooting issues with my current appliances (even before I bought new ones). He has been extremely responsive to any questions I have and keeping me updated with delivery information and instruction on how to inspect the deliveries. He has made great recommendations on installers (he gave me options for price points and explained the benefits of each option). Because she couldn't find a refrigerator that I needed she offered to refund my money even with it being 5 months that I did use it. I was so surprised and honestly I expected to have many arguments and needing to get my credit card company involved but I didnt have to.
