A Rare Find on Route 66 -- Jack's 66 Service…read more While waiting for my oil change and tire rotation, I witnessed something I thought had gone extinct somewhere between rotary phones and $1 gas: genuine customer service. One customer brought in a part to be installed -- unfortunately, it was faulty. Instead of shrugging and charging for labor anyway (as many shops might), the team at Jack's 66 caught the problem before installation. Then, the owner himself picked up the phone and called the store where the part was purchased to help the customer get an exchange. Who does that anymore? Moments later, another customer came in with a service light for an air filter. Instead of booking an appointment and a bill, the owner grabbed his tools, walked out to the car, and checked it right there in the lot -- saving the customer both time and money. They were so thorough and kind. For the work rendered, I felt that their pricing was more than fair. So my friend needed to use them again for a hesitation happening somewhere in her drivetrain.
