Anyways, I asked her if I could get the darker color for the same price as the lighter one which was $29.99 and Rose looked at the item number and called a manager, Tamara came over and she didnt even bother to check on the tablet for the current price of the item. She just said no. Then I pulled up the item on hobby lobby website and there it is, $29.99 half off is $14 so I went back to Rose and showed her. She called Tamara over again and explained to her. Then Tamara came over and told me she would do it for me this time because online prices are cheaper since it costs shipping and handling? I guess? But regardless it's 50% off right now and the online price matched the store price. It just seemed like Tamara didnt want to deal with me from the beginning. Our Theater Department also used Congratei's to fundraise and sell custom candy and flower bouquets to match the theme of the plays. I was looking for a recommendation for a framing shop for some paintings, and CR Framing came…read morehighly recommended. The shop is located a couple blocks off the main drag in Brentwood but GPS pointed the way. I found Chris friendly, knowledgeable and professional for consulting on my framing needs. Several paintings were for future sale, and one I wanted to display at home. The three paintings for sale could get a lower overall price if I selected the same frame/mats as Chris explained they pass on a quantity/materials discount. For the painting we would keep I chose a slightly more expensive frame and UV protected plexiglass. CR has a wide variety of frames and mats: one wall with frames in stock that are less expensive and have a faster turnaround, fancier frames that need to be ordered are on the opposite wall. Glass options range from normal glass all the way up to museum quality material with varying degrees of price, weight and light-protective qualities. Thinking in advance on the size of frame and mat for your picture always helps. The finished framed paintings looked great - the right frame makes such a difference! I intend to return to CR for all my framing needs in the future.

For around $15/16 each, they have lovely wrought iron stands on which to place your flower pots. Smaller stands were as little as $8. If you have plants inside your house and don't want the pots to damage your floors, place them on one of these stands first. You can even place a strip of non-abrasive floor protective felt under the leg of the stand to keep it even safer on your floor. Of course they work outside, like on the porch, and they're very sturdy. They also have stone fountains and some pots. They had a limited supply of pots when I was there. Worth a stop-in.

I was really taken aback by my experience with a checkout associate today. I had my daughter with…read moreme and placed about 12 items on the register, along with my reusable Target bag. When I reached the front, I wasn't greeted at all. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, it's still something I notice. The associate moved my bag to the side and scanned all of my items but didn't place anything into the bag, which I found odd. I looked around and saw other cashiers bagging items as they scanned them for their customers. When she finished, she handed me my receipt and left all of my items sitting there, even though everything easily fit into one bag. I asked if bagging items was no longer part of the process. She responded that they do bag items but said she "has a line," and immediately began ringing up the next customer while bagging their items. I pointed out that bagging is part of the job, but she ignored me. When I asked if she heard me, she said she could bag them, but by then I chose to bag my items myself. It didn't make sense that she used having a line as a reason, especially since bagging items would have kept things moving efficiently. What was more frustrating was that she chose not to bag my items but did so for the very next customer. That felt dismissive and disrespectful. I've shopped at this Target for years and have never had an experience like this. The associate's name was Adrianna. I also spoke with a manager, who mentioned that some customers prefer to bag their own items. However, that explanation doesn't apply when the associate doesn't even ask. The manager also didn't seem particularly apologetic, which is why I'm writing this review. I hope this situation is addressed so other customers don't have a similar experience.
