It was my first time here at this studio. Took my mom as a holiday gift. I'm giving it 5 stars because I saw nothing wrong and had fun and my snoopy turned out good 1-the layout of the facility is open. Lots of seats. Super cool vibe. KATY was amazing! She was multitalented, she was the host, the instructor, the bartender, the comedian, I mean she was everything! She made the class very fun and enjoyable. The class was suppose to be 7-9pm but we did run a little late but we didnt mind because we were having hella fun (because when you sip and paint, a lot can happen lol.) We didnt drink but the other groups did. You can purchase drinks or snacks as well! The place was really cute, a lot of artwork everywhere and they have so many different classes. So... My cousin recommended the family check out this paint and sip class after attending a class with Katie previously. 19 of us bought tickets in advance ranging from ages 15-70 (my father-in-law turned 70. He actually spends all of his spare time painting, so this was perfect). Boy did we have fun! My family is a complete handful, so I went ahead and brought the paint instructor a bottle of red wine because she was going to be in for a long night even if she didn't realize it ahead of time. My fiance, daughter and I rolled in a little late (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL) after coming in from the Stockton Flavor fest (none of us lived local) after we were warned that the event started on time. My family has a lot of questions along with music requests and numerous requests to "turn it up louder." The price was worth way more than the experience we all had. My Dad was in town from GA and he already wants to check out another event before he returns home. Bottles of wine are only $20 and it Shane Doesn't taste cheap. Tip your instructor, don't be over critical of your painting and just enjoy the vibe with fun. We also had fun with the strangers who were on date nights and friends outings. I loved that the music was perfect for our group; but Katie also took into consideration that everyone may not enjoy the early 90s throwbacks. I was introduced to Starry Nite Studios through an event from an animal rescue I am affiliated with. The drag queen bingo event I attended was nothing short of AMAZING! I took my mother, sister, and 2 aunts. Needless to say, everyone had a blast, and the event was for my moms birthday. Not only was that event one to remember for life, they hold shows and events regularly as well as show you how to be your best artistic self. I've done paint and sips before, but the culture offered here is something that cannot be replicated. Not only do they know what they are doing, they know how to have a good time while you do it. And every time is quality and the instructors make sure everybody feels welcome. In this climate that to me, it is one of the most important things that a creative space can offer. I attended Drag Queen Bingo for the Anti-VD night! What a riot. I can't express how much fun my friends/family and I had - can't wait for the April 20; already purchased my tickets. Vicodonia Knightingale and Charity Kase were such a fun team and had me laughing and smiling the entire time. It's all fun and games but be warned - you may get struck by a flying t*tty! No harm involved. I'm so happy to have something like this out in Brentwood and I highly recommend attending!! They also have an alcoholic beverage bar and snacks. There was also delicious cupcakes and cake pops for sale from Michael(?) Such a blast - I want to attend all scheduled in the future! I love Starry Night Studios. The artists are spot on; they take their time and have taught me some tricks to make my paintings look amazing. My son and daughter-in-law come down from Sacramento to take classes because the artists' quality is there, and it shows in the final product. If you want to have a great painting experience, go to Starry Nights. If you want to have fun with Drag Queen Bingo and support a local nonprofit, go to Starry Nights, laugh your ass off, and have a few drinks. I had my daughters 8th birthday party here last weekend and it was awesome! From the beginning, I was happy with the communication & accommodations. Everything was set up just the way I expected. What an amazing studio that offers such a wide variety of projects and activities! We had my son's birthday at the studio a few years back and it remains one of his favorite parties. The artist created a custom painting for my son and his friends to paint. His party theme was Super Mario Bros and she created a painting of Toad and the kids loved it! Since they have opened I have attended several paint classes, including Mother's Day Events and Pride painting events. My family and I have also attended Drag Queen Bingo.
