Things I loved about the Grand: - Easy parking within a block (or two) via street and dirt lots. All of it was free parking. - Not fighting huge traffic other than I-580-EB on an evening. - Along a really cute downtown area that was about 3-4 blocks by 3 blocks. - Cheap snacks at the Grand that included beer on tap, wine, sodas, bottled water, candy, and nuts, all of which was very inexpensive by comparison to the Orpheum in SF. (Water, soda - $3; candy - $3; most alcoholic beverages were $6-9, IIRC.) - All great seating once you get inside. I didn't feel like there was a bad seat in the house. - Beautiful interior, just as ornate as The Orpheum. - Awesome lighting and sound, unlike the Golden Gate Theater, which has had terrible sound in the last two years. - Not a huge line to get to the restroom. - A space indoors for merch sales, for groups like All-4-One that choose to sell things. There's nothing critical or even nit-picky to say about my visit here. 5 stars. I had a great time, and I will be back. Tracy, y'all are so lucky!

Her glass selection is excellent and her instruction is incredibly helpful. I am so glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews of this studio. My 12 year old daughter and I signed up for the beginner stained glass course. It did take us longer than the 6 weeks to finish our pieces but I wasn't mad because the website warned me it might take longer and the owner also warned me when we picked the pieces we did. The finished products were well worth the time. My daughter and I had so much fun and learned a lot. My daughter has now finished two pieces. I finished a window panel and am now starting my second piece. I will definitely continue coming back here to learn this beautiful craft. This is the place you want to go if you want to learn how to work with glass.

There was enough room for a group of 40 and more if there were more people. They don't have food but you can bring food. They have alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, and outdoor patio space, just all around nice set up. And the pricing is great! I recently saw an old email from them and I decided to reach out. Rachel, the new owner, called me that same day and expressed how sorry she was that happened. She offered for me to have another birthday workshop and she did not charge the people that signed up last year. She even bought pizzas and salad for the celebration. She went well above and beyond. She was so nice and responsive if I had any questions/issues before the event. I will be definitely coming back for another project!! Thanks Rachel!
